DIARY Of a QHian: The skeleton gets filled...A lamb readied to slaughter?

Oct 7:

Dear diary,

Mondays are the worst in QH...always. And with this track, this particular Monday lived up to its name...such a gloomy episode!

Nevertheless, it was not a filler episode.⭐️

This is going to be random, because my mind is actually trying to retrieve a story I read in childhood...may not be related to QH, but I was suddenly reminded of the story...about that, in the end.

Raziya- Shireen: Instead of downplaying Zoya's bahu role, Raziya is preparing for a battle.😲 She knows Zoya will not stay one day further than the marriage, but she wants to make sure she will not dream of ever coming back to SM. And this really chills me...Raziya's villainy is at its sharpest, in a long time. Zoya will not even know what hit her.

Shireen now knows what to expect of Zoya, thanks to Raziya. The girl is a baharwaali, and will have to be dealt with firmly...for what, one day?😕

Haldi Scene:

I liked the Zoya- Ayan conversation that followed the haldi scene. 👏That, along with Zoya- Humeira is the meat filing up the skeleton of this track, I feel.

Zoya is upset, not with Ayan, for bumping against her and inviting this disaster on her- symbolic of the accident that caused their 'nikah'...but with the USELESS OLD WOMEN, who had to make a deal out of everything...the mohallewaale who find spice in their neighbour's lives... Zoya points fingers at the SNOOPING nature of such people.😆(Why do people have to find symbolisms in everything?😲 - that too, such weird and silly symbolisms!😉😆 - SHOWS HEIGHTS OF JOBLESSNESS!)

In conversation with Humeira: Humeira is inconsolable. She is not super cool like Ayan or Zoya. She has been brought up to obey the rules which say she cannot hug a married man, and a nikah is very much a nikah to her- and she will always be Ayan's second wife...a point that strikes Zoya quite deep, as she is on her way to experience another horrible experience at Farhan's haldi. 😭(I hope Friday's precap of Zoya declaring the power of love happens tomorrow...😊)

Najma: Finds Farhan's clothes wet, which could mean that he was out in the rain, the day before...to meet Tanveer?

And she catches the mother- son duo animatedly discussing something...looking very suspicious. 🤓

Precap:

More humiliation- and this time around, Asad gets a taste of what Zoya is going through, on a daily basis...😊

Haseena Bee asks Zoya to gift her Jethji, and Zoya puts the shawl around Asad...

I loved this precap. ⭐️

Zoya who had learned to get used to Maburt, is nervous with Asad around. She cannot meet anyone's eyes, as she distributes the gifts. When it comes to Asad, she cloaks him with the shawl, and looks at him ...a very innocent, questioning gaze...and Asad is forced to meet her eyes...

Is he ready to answer her question? - 'What did you do to us?'

3 Notable performances:

1. Ayan with the dostniyan...his expressions were damn good.👏 So nice that at least one character can stay cheerful through all this.😆

2. Zoya's look in the precap: Really sweet and innocent...like a lamb who was given away in slaughter...😭

3. Asad in the precap: Though the hair was a major distraction, the man's presence just fills the room...the world can taunt them in a thousand possible ways, but when these two are together, there is undeniable chemistry...

Thoughts:

I was reminded of a story I read in childhood. I have a very faint memory of it. It was a story from Indian mythology or literature, about a woman who was stoned and saved by a Buddhist monk, I think...(Similar to the story in Bible...of the woman who was stoned...but this one is different- there was a love story there.)...trying hard to piece that story.

As Raziya moved up her game, and with Badi Bi fueling her resolve...(Poor old lady-😆 she thinks she is standing up for her Bahu!🤢)...with Shireen readied to put her Bahu in her place...and with Ayan incapacitated with his internal injuries...I don't know who will be there in SM to save Zoya from getting stoned...😭

PS: I went through most of your comments, guys..😆 Quite hilarious! And true to pot n kettle style!😆

What I honestly liked about the episode was Zoya's post haldi conversation with Ayan and Humeira...😊

they have somuch chemistry!

actually i felt the scene was kind of hot!

but at the same time i got a very sick feeling!🤢

actually sick feeling was more than hot feeling!

i dont know how long we have to bear this!

razia is planning some thing evel..poor zoya...centered and targetted by everyone...

haseena and her family...now we have to see both najma and nikat crying together while imraan and farhaan keep romancing tanveer...

precap...what does haseena derive torturing everyone??zoya cant even meet others eyes...

humeira and zoya convo is ok..humeira u fool..you have ayaan just forget about his first biwi..he himself said it is a drama...

Humeira is such a cry baby really 🥱 Even she is beginning to piss me off now. The entire SM barring Zoe gets on my nerves these days 🥱
