Chapter -16

Madhu's POV

He asked "So whose you favorite actor in Bollywood?

I replied "Mine is Salman Khan undoubtedly."

He spoke excitingly "What a coincidence. Even mine favorite actor is Salman Khan."

I replied "Really? But you can't love him more than me. I am his biggest fan."

He replied "Oh please! No one can be his biggest fan than me."

I replied "Oh please! I am his biggest fan and that's final."

He replied "I told you know? I am his biggest fan and yes this is final."

I was about to speak when Bittu Ji interrupted us and spoke "You two please stop fighting because I am his biggest fan ever."

We all burst into laughter.

It was a long day if something bad happened today than I guess something good also happened. We become friends. I still can't believe that Devil Kundra and I are friends now.

It was night and I was tired I don't know when I drifted into sleep. I woke up next morning and got a big shock. My head was on his chest. 'What the? How and when did this happen?'

He was still sleepy and I don't want to get embarrassed in front of him so I tried to apart myself from him but 'Damn' his chain got entangled with my chain which he tied me on our marriage day. I was about to touch the chains to unlock them. He woke up and said "Wait, let me unlock them."

I was so damn embarrassed in front him. I couldn't even look into his eyes. We were so close to each other that I could feel his breath on my face. And our closeness was taking my breath away. He unlocked the chains and said "It's done."

I replied "Thanks and I am sorry. I don't know how and when I... "

He cut me off in between and spoke "Actually you were sleeping in very uncomfortable position so I put your head on my shoulder."

I spoke "Okay! Thanks."

He replied "Madaam, first rule of friendship. No sorry and no thank you."

I smiled and replied "Oh yess."

After few minutes we reached to our destination Shimla. Kundra's have a guest house there. So we went to guest house first. Due to bad weather they changed the inauguration timing to night instead of afternoon. I was glad because I was damn tired and after this long journey I was in a no mood of going anywhere.

We reached at guest house and went to our rooms. Mine room was on first floor opposite to RK's room and Bittu Ji's room was on ground floor.

I entered my room to freshen up and after freshening up I had to go down for breakfast but I was tired and I went to sleep.

I woke up after three or four hours I guess. I was hungry so I went downstairs to see if there is something to eat but there was nothing. I become upset and sat on dining table which was nearby kitchen. As I sat, I saw a chit there. I picked it up and opened it. The words which were written on chit were

"Hey, I came to your room to call you for breakfast but you were sleeping and I dint want to disturb you from your sleep. And I have no idea when are you going to wake up so I am writing this note for you that don't get upset when you don't see food in kitchen. Open the refrigerator, food is there. I want to wait till you wake up but I am also sleepy and I need to look fresh in inauguration ceremony. Hope you'll understand. Enjoy the food."

His sweet gesture touched my heart. He is so caring. We cannot judge everyone in first meeting.

I ate my food and went upstairs. Bittu Ji and RK were sleeping and there were no one else. My phone was also in two pieces. What to do now? I had an idea. I slowly and steadily entered in RK's room. My eyes scanned his room to find one important thing. And finally I found what I was searching for. 'His phone' I picked his phone and left the room. I entered my room and dialed Rohan's number. I know my phone is dead and I dint remember his phone number but last time when I called Rohan, I memorized his number. Seriously, I want to pat myself for doing this awesome work.

After three rings, Rohan picked the call.

I spoke "Rohan..."

Rohan "Mads... You? Where are you? Why your phone is not reachable?"

I spoke "Rohan, calm down."

Rohan "No Mads, tell me are you okay?"

I replied "Rohan, I am okay. There are so many things I want to tell you. You need to calm down and listen to me."

Rohan "Madhu, where were you from so long? You know how worried I was for you."

I spoke "I know Rohan. Today I am going to tell you what exactly happened that day."

Rohan "Okay! Tell me."

I replied "You remember Rohan when I called you on marriage day and told you that 'I am in trouble'."

Rohan "Yes I remember Mads, after that your phone got disconnected and I called you n number of times but your phone was switched off."

I spoke "Yes, that day Deepali dint marry her groom. She ran away from the house and instead of Deepali, I...I was the one who got married."

Finally I blasted the bomb on him. I have no idea how he is going to react?

There was pin drop silence he dint say a word. This is scary. Why he is not saying anything?

I asked "Rohan... Rohan.. You there? Rohan?"

Rohan spoke "Madhu, You are playing prank with me. Right? This dint happen. Right? Please say it that you are kidding. Please Madhu please. I beg you please say it for once that you are kidding."

I spoke "No Rohan. I wish I was kidding. But I am not. This is truth. I am married now."

Rohan spoke "No! This can't be true. This can't happen. No. No way. "

I heard a loud thud and line went dead. Had Rohan thrown his phone?

I called his number again but now it was not reachable.

After coming to India, there is not even a single day when I dint cry. I had cried almost every day. When today I thought I won't cry but see I am crying again. I thought Rohan will understand me but he and his anger.

I went back to RK's room and put his phone on table and left the room.

I came back to my room and sat there silently. Suddenly someone's phone started buzzing. I looked around to see if my phone is buzzing but no my phone was dead than whose phone is ringing?

I came out of my room and realized its RK's phone. Oh my God! What if Rohan is calling? I should pick the phone before RK wakes up. I rushed into his room but he had already picked the call.

RK spoke "Hello"

"Who Mads?"

God its Rohan! What now?

RK spoke "Who are you?"

Before RK could ask anything else I entered his room and spoke "RK, it's my phone. Actually I called my friend from your number."

RK handed over the phone to me. I left the room. I came in my room and I blasted Rohan.

I spoke "Rohan, what do you think about yourself? After so many days finally I got a chance to talk to you and what you did? You threw your phone. Control your anger. Have you thought about me? How am I living here? You are only one whom I can trust and you?"

Rohan spoke "Mads, I know I was wrong that's why I called you back. I should not have behaved like that. I am sorry for that. But tell me who was that guy who picked the call?"

I replied "It's okay! He is the person whom I am married to."

Rohan asked "Mads, have you accepted him as your husband?"

I replied "Acceptance? Roh, you gotta be kidding me. We'll be parting our ways after one year."

Rohan asked "What? I dint get you."

I replied "Actually, It was a forced marriage for both of us. Earlier he treated me very badly but now we are kinda friends. And he said that according to law if we want divorce we need to live with each other at least for one year. After that we can apply for divorce. So we have to live with each other at least for a year."

Rohan spoke "What? He treated you badly? I am coming to Mumbai Mads."

I replied "No Rohan. I am not in Mumbai. We came to Shimla for RK's hotel inauguration."

Rohan spoke "I want to see you."

I felt like he is crying so I asked "Are you crying Rohan?"

Rohan "I am not a girl. Why would I?"

I spoke "Oh come on. You know that you can't lie to me. "

He spoke "Yes, I am missing you and missing you alot."

I replied "Even I am missing you too."

I felt someone's presence in my room. I turned around and saw RK is standing there with an expressionless face. I couldn't read his face. He spoke "I need my phone back."

I felt it's quite rude of him but it was his phone. I can't do anything.

I spoke to Rohan "Rohan, I'll talk to you later actually RK need to call someone on urgent basis."

Rohan "Okay! No problem. Bye Mads, take care and be in touch. I'll call you in evening at this number only."

I replied "Okay. I'll wait for your call. By bye. Take Care."

I disconnected the call and handed over phone to RK and said "Thank you."

He dint say a word and left the room.
