Dear diary,
I kept answering one question through the day in my other post...what was the point in dragging Zoya to SM? How would that help Nikhat..and I had answered...over and over again...things have gone out of hand...it has become a public affair..
And today's episode explained it so well..👏Well written!👏 Shireen is the one to drill this sense into Rashid's head...'maan jaayiye na, Rashid...'...this will become a shame on the family now if Asad chooses to marry Zoya ignoring a very ignorant😡 qasi...
Haseena Bee explains her POA to her saathi⭐️.😆..she wants to raise a storm over this...she is dead sure Asad will not give Zoya away...but she can use this to humiliate the Siddiquis that Ayan married his brother's honewaali dulhan...and put them to such shame that no one would come to marry Nikhat...and then she can raise her demands...😉
To the Siddiquis, it is another story...if Asad know about Ayan and Zoya, it will create enimity between the two houses where already one house has become her rishtedaar...she does not want to make an alliance with her rishtedaar's enemies!😆
All in the BELIEF that Asad will not sacrifice his mohabbat.😭 (She cries with us, hamdard souls!😉)
In no time, the qasi is there with some other learned looking' men😡...and they declare that this is not ghar ka maamla any more😡. It is the matter of honour of a society😡...a community...of six other nikahs...and they WILL NOT TAKE THIS LIGHTLY...They are here to make sure the Nikah is considered valid,😡 if not, they will shun the Siddiquis as a community.🥱 It has been blown out of proportion 😲. Was this what Asad foresaw?😭
Did he know the elders' 😡would react like this, over this situation...Is that why he wasted no time in dragging an unwilling Zoya to SM?😭

The events start sinking in to Asad's head.😭 Zoya tries to explain...he does not want an explanation...he has made a promise long back that he would never leave her. He stands by that promise. But this is not the hour for confession and reconciliation...there is only one thing foremost in his mind...his sister. She needs him- THEM.
Zoya is not willing...She cannot see any logic in it. But he asks only one thing of her- to trust in their love- aapko yakeen hai hamari mohabbat par...a big leap of blind faith...Zoya wavers.
Special applause for that scene where Zoya rests her hands on Asad's abdomen, trying to stop him😳...well done, Directorji!👏👏👏
He stretches out to hold her hand...fbs of all their hand holds...beautiful memories that brought them together..but this time he reaches out to hurl her into a world far away from him...and she cannot bear that.😭
A very notable fb of the post Akram fiasco...another situation Zoya was unwillingly forced in to...will this end the same way?⭐️😆
Asad lands up with a very unwilling Zoya just in the nick of time to save his brother's honour...as DECLARED BY THE NORMS OF SOCIETY.😡 Zoya hangs on to him, but one look from him speaks to her...she is not supposed to behave this way.😳
He leaves her near Ayan, and turns to go, releasing his grip on her..and ZOYA CLUTCHES TO HIM...Like a child being left at Kindergarten on first day holds on to her father...Again, he gestures to her...and she LETS GO.😭
He goes on to declare his stance on the mishap...a nikah is a nikah...and Zoya is at her rightful place...it breaks his heart to say it, and it breaks my heart to write it, so I won't write it.😭😭😭
Thoughts:
1. The Qasi is the villain here,😡 not poor Muqaddar. It was chilling😡...how a man will move mountains to prove he was right😡...and when it involves a religious authority, it can be quite a HARASSING EXPERIENCE😡. Hate men like that who think they are closer to God and therefore can rule over others😡. He has an inferiority complex and he will move heaven and earth to feed his damn ego😡...he has brought more of his kind😲...who question the triviality with which the entire household has handled the matter which is so serious'🤢😡. If this goes out of hand, the family can even be considered outcast, boycotted by the community.🥱
Or does the qasi have an ulterior motive, as Ankie says..a billi connection?😲⭐️
2. I am going to congratulate myself👏. What happened today was exactly what I had described in the ISHQ track post...looks like I predicted one chunk of this track...😳😳😳
In my answer to one of the comments, I had mentioned that the matter will be handled by the elders and Asad will be helpless...and BANG ON!
(I am so glad Gul did not take the Ishq route..that would have ended up in a lot of humiliation for Zoya and Ayan and it would have cast aspersions on their character forever. At least this way, the community is forcing them to accept a honourable relationship.)
3. Billi prowling around...a good sign,👏 I feel. Clearly outlines her role in this drama...also possibly explains a mystery...I think the qasi got Zoya's identity from her...I was wondering in that episode how Zoya would have given her right name...clearly, the information was given by someone else...😉
Now if Ankie's prediction of her bribing the qasi is true, and it comes to light...well, the qasi 😡will be EXPELLED👏👏 👏and the nikah considered invalid...faint hopes there!
4. TBH, I am loving the drama...
PRECAP:
Ayan is asked to publicly accept his nikah with Zoya and he looks on to Bhaijaan...who nods his permission. Ayan will only act as directed by Asad from now on...GOOD!😊
When it comes to Zoya, who is wavering even now...Asad will have to be firm😭...What a situation you have created Gul😭! One man standing there and giving away his unwilling bride to his own brother...it breaks our hearts.😭
Mujhe kisi tarah ki jhoot se sak nafrat hai'...upto how much of this is a reality, and how much is a drama? Why has fate played this game with him? Why does he have to sacrifice the ideals he has upheld always, for the sake of his loved ones?😭 Does Billi hold the key to this drama like the other one she played?⭐️
5. Muqaddar ka khel: One step closer...Zoya is one step closer to her father...it was her last wish that Asad had wanted to fufill BEFORE THEIR NIKAH...and knowingly or unknowingly, muqaddar has aided him towards realising that wish of hers...
So that she can realise the last and final wish of his...a gift from his father THAT HE CAN ACCEPT WHOLEHEARTEDLY...
