The way he reacted to her name then seeing her made me sus if so will Arnav find out , will khushi guess???
Loved the surprise reunion of the friends Rishs reaction was priceless
Poor Sam he lost his love then his mum n he feels guilt for her death
Hoping they can bring back their friend n find him someone to love
As for Arnav n khushi loved their kiss n how whilst talking with Sam arnav held onto her almost showing that she was his n only his

I saw Arnav and Niveda leave.

€œI€™ve got to attend this call€ Liam said as his phone rang.

That is when I noticed that my phone was missing. I went back silently to the dining room; Anya was busy in the kitchen. I did not want to disturb Rishabh or Samar.

€œSam, you sure you are ok?€ I heard Rishabh ask.

€œI€™m bro, just a little guilty€

€œI€™m sorry€ I heard Sam cut off Rishabh.

€œNeed not be€

€œLet me finish first Sam€ There was something in that tone that made me stand there and listen to the rest of the conversation.

€œOkay tell me then€

€œThere is something more to the story you told us. I know you are keeping a secret again now tell me what it is. Before you ask, Arnav did not notice it because he was caught up with your mother€™s death and the others are not as close as we are. Now tell me the entire story€

€œI can€™t Rish. The only thing I can tell you is that you are right and that I lied at some points. I can€™t tell you the entire truth and I€™m sorry about that€

€œWhat do you mean?€

€œI meant what I said€

This was becoming a very bad habit for me to overhear others conversation, but at that point I was curious.

Rishabh was blackmailing Sam by using Arnav€™s name? My boyfriend was he the big bully here?

€œKhushi?€ Samar looked as if he had seen a ghost. He immediately went pale.

€œI don€™t know. But he shouldn€™t know€

€œTell me a reason, he deserves to know believe me guys€ I began to argue.

However, the two of them were able to persuade me to keep it a secret.

€œI promise I won€™t tell him anything, in fact I won€™t tell anyone€

€œI€™m feeling a lot better now€ Samar said.

€œGood€ Rishabh said patting Sam on the back

I left both of them in the dining room, joined Anya in the kitchen, and helped her out with the dishes.

I felt guilty as I saw Arnav enter the room with Niveda. I should not have promised them that I would keep it a secret. I did not know how to.

€˜What would Arnav think when he comes to know that you kept such a big thing away from him? What if he never knows?€™ questions came to my mind one by one.

€˜Breathe Khushi, he wouldn€™t€™ I said to myself.

€œWhere will you stay?€ I heard Liam ask Sam.

Liam, the guy because of whom Samar€™s dream were shattered. How does it feel like talking to that person, who was the reason for your miserable condition? Well I do not want to know and I do not want to feel.

€˜STOP€™ I said to my thoughts and concentrated on what Samar had to say.

€œI don€™t know€™ he said back.

€œOh don€™t worry. You can stay with us€

€˜NO€™ the word came to my mind, but thank god I did not say that aloud, else it would have caused a hell lot of problems.

€œNO€ Rishabh offered the answer to Liam.

€œThat is so not done Liam. Arnav cannot enjoy all the company. You and Niveda are already with him and look at me, I am all alone at my place, even my mom is not there and my fiance would not move in with me until we get married. So there is no point in you asking the question, the answer is with me.€

Samar mouthed €˜thank you€™ to Rishabh when all except me were busy with other things.

€œAnya and Khushi do you have any brothers?€ Niveda came up with a new topic for discussion.

€œNo. In fact we don€™t have male cousins in either side of the family.€ Anya answered the question.

€œOh€

€œWhy do you ask?€ I asked.

€œActually it€™s Rakshabandhan next Sunday€

€œRakshabandhan?€ Liam asked

€œLiam, the festival during which I tie a fancy thread on Arnav€™s wrist and he gives me gifts remember?€

€œYeah I remember and by the way I don€™t understand how it is supposed to protect you guys€

€œIts called Rakhi and it is said to make the brother sister bond stronger and believe me it does. I€™ll make it clear Liam, I wont repeat these answers next year€

€œOkay€

€œyou left my name Nivi, I€™m your brother too€ Rishabh said.

€œAnd what about you Samar? You don€™t have any sisters? Niveda won€™t you tie him a Rakhi?€ Anya asked.

Anya should not have asked that question. His wounds were still deep and she was salting it now.

€œNO€ Came the sudden reply from Samar as a bit of shock to others.

€œSam didn€™t believe in it and so I never tried€ Niveda said in a low tone.

€œAt least one person here agrees with me€ Liam said and Niveda glared at him. Rishabh and I turned to Sam with a €˜I know the actual reason€™ look on our faces.

€œI think we should all go now, its already late €œArnav said.

€œRemember our day out for tomorrow Khushi?€ Niveda asked me and I nodded.

€œI€™ll drop you home€ Arnav said to me.

I nodded my head indicating €˜NO€™

€œAnya wont you allow me to stay the night? We haven€™t had our sister time for long€

€œOf course Khush€

€œOkay then€ Arnav said to me.

Liam left soon along with Niveda and then Anya hugged Rishabh and literally pushed him out of the house and with him went Samar.

I stood next to Arnav as the others left.

€œArnav do I need to kick you out too?€

€œNO€ I replied and Arnav smirked.

€œGive us five minutes€ I said

€œNot a second more than that. I want you inside by then€ she said as she left us at the door.

€œYou don€™t want to kick me out?€ Arnav asked the smirk still present on his face.

€œNO€

€œAnd why is that?€

€œBecause...€

€œBecause?€

€œI love you€

€œGood, because I love you too€

He said and came forward for a hug. As always I did not want it to end, but that is never possible right?

As we came out of the hug, his hands reached for the two strands of hair that fell to my face and pushed it behind my ears. His hands cupped my face and his eyes questioned me, which felt like asking for permission and I do not know which gesture of mine gave him the exact answer yes. The net thing I knew was that his soft lips were on mine. I lost all senses, my body went numb, and for a second my knees went weak. He steadied me but did not take the kiss further. My lips had lost its virginity.

€œGood night. Take care€ He said as he walked to his car still facing me.

I just waved at him and stood there until his car was out of my sight.

€œFinally€ Anya sighed in relief when she saw me enter.

€œSorry€

€œSo tell me how it was?€ She questioned.

€˜Oh my, was it that obvious?€™ I thought to myself.

€˜oh oh look at you Khush, you are blushing€ She said

She continued when she understood that I would not answer the question.

I simply nodded.

A little while later Niveda called me to confirm the next day€™s schedule. As we talked, I heard a beep and I looked at my phone and saw that Arnav€™s call was waiting. I said a quick bye to her and attended his call.

€œI was talking to your sister€

€œI know. I€™ve been waiting too long for her to cut the call but she wouldn€™t, so I tried calling you€

€œBut my beep wasn€™t working these days and suddenly today...€

€œI changed the settings€

€œWhen do you get time to work on my phone? The last time also I didn€™t know the same about today€

€œYou never what I am up to when and where€

€œOh really?€

€œYup. Tell me what you are doing tomorrow€

€œAre you planning another date?€

€œI asked first€€outing with your sister€

€œHave a backup plan ready. I can help you. My sister can be really boring€ He said.

€œI€™m not boring€ I heard Niveda scream from a long distance, over the phone.

€œAs usual practice and a board meeting later for dinner.€

I checked on Anya and found her sound asleep on her bed. I switched off the lights and went to sleep.

€œSleeping beauty wake up, my brother sent you these€ I heard someone speak.

€œKhushi get up or we will be late€ The voice continued.

Now I was sure the person was talking to me.

€œLeave me alone I want to sleep.€ I said.

€œKhushi wake up or else I€™ll pour this cold water on your face€

That was the trick. My eyes flew open to see Niveda standing next to the bed with a jug of water in one hand and those red and yellow roses in the other.

€œGood morning€ She said.

I said those two words with a yawn in between.

€œYour sister was right, cold water scares you€

€œNot always, only when I sleep€ I clarified.

€œWhere is she?€ I asked

€œI quote €˜Unlike you guys I have work to do. So you both go and do whatever you like and don€™t forget to lock the door when you leave€™ she said those when I asked her to join us. She then left for office€

€œShe sounded that rude?€ I questioned

€œNah, I added that. She was probably kidding€

€œFine€

€œI think Arnav would love that information€

€œWhich information?€

€œCold water€

€œDon€™t you dare Niveda€

€œYou think?€ She challenged me€

€œYou wish? I don€™t care.€ I said as I proceeded to the washroom.

I got ready and grabbed a sandwich before I locked the door and went to the passenger seat of Nivi€™s car while she started the engine.

We had decided to do some shopping first then have lunch at my place and then share gossips€™. I was excited because she could tell me everything about what Arnav was like when he was young.

€˜She ate like a pig?€™ that question came to my mind when I saw her eat. Well a pig would cry at that thought. That was not enough to describe her eating habits. However, she was lucky enough to maintain her figure. Well she would eventually get fat; after all, she is pregnant right?

I got to know many things about their childhood. She told me that their relationship with their father wasn€™t a pleasant one and that they loved and missed their mom very much.

I knew already that Arnav loved his mom very much.

Around seven thirty Liam called. That was when we realised that the sun had set. He told her that he would come to pick her up, but she argued that she had a car with her. He did not want her to drive at night.

Hours later I sat in front of my TV watching some random shows. After Nivi left I had called Ria. She was very much excited about getting married to Karan and I was genuinely happy for them.

I heard my phone ring. I reduced the volume of the TV and attended Arnav€™s call.

€œHow are you beautiful?€ Arnav asked.

€œArnav you are asking the same question for the fifth time today€

€œJust making sure darling, after all you had my sister€™s company all day€

€œShe isn€™t that bad. And let me tell you I really enjoyed her company. Now don€™t get jealous€

€œI€™m not jealous€

€œI€™m not jealous€ I mimicked.

I knew that he was irritated and so I continued

€œAnd yeah she isn€™t boring unlike you€

€œI€™m boring?€

€œThat you are€

There was silence for a short while.

€œHey don€™t you worry. I liked her company but I like your company more and you are not BORING€

€œReally?€

€œYup€

€œThat€™s good€

€œI know€

We talked for about an hour and a half about random things. He told me that his meeting had gone well. I felt guilty when he talked about Samar and I didn€™t want to keep a secret from him.

I made a mental note to talk to Rishabh about that.
