I like the way asad is handling the whole wedding issue...he did in fact screw things up when he didn't ask Nikhat why and when she broke off her engagement, but what can you expect from a guy who's "better half" is being dense on purpose... its the first time asad has fallen in love, and hence is listening to zoya like a love sick puppy..i know it's what you expect from teenagers but you'll just have to give Asad the concession...
Anyway, he is constantly worried that Nikhat is unhappy, even after she has vehemently denied being upset by it, and he's worried that it's just not right to marry your sister to your half sister's ball-less ex.. or the marry your sister to a spineless ass in general..
Zoya, on the other hand, is hell bent to marry Najma off to Imran, as if he's like prince William for something...why does she want najma to be married so young? and why, o why does she not see imran like what he is?
She was supposed to be a good judge of character...and asad sucked at it...
In this case unfortunately asad is being the mature adult, and zoya is behaving like a selfish self centered child...it's pretty evident from zoya's behaviour that she has never had to take someone's responsibility and hence cannot look at the big picture.. asad is the head of the family and has behaved that way all along...
P. S. to those people who say zoya has never met nikhat, she has, when every junior member of the Siddiqui family attended the asad-zoya almost wedding No.1..
