First of all thank you so much to my lovely readers for the wonderful comments so far. This update is just for you. Trust me i am really on the verge of discontinuing and i am more than just demotivated after my exams because trust me after studying so hard when the paper was so damn difficult i really dont feel like doing anything.

And now that i am seeing eople who pmed me and commented to be added to the pm list are turning into silent readers. I can only see their likes and nothing else, so much for the effort!

Look this story is just building a foundation which be will be completed by the next chapter. The ACTUAL ARHI PASSION will start in Lavanya's engagement and onwards. I have wonderful scenes in mind but i am not planning to write them down for my wonderful silent readers.

I pm 320 people and just receive 7 pages of comments! How would i feel after i tried to update during my study period and exams? I feel like its a slap on my face.

Chapter 14

The cool wind caressed her as Khushi Kumari Gupta entered the venue of the AR annual fashion show. Every eye turned to look at her as many were on the verge of fainting.

Goddess on earth!

Yes! That is what Khushi looked like. The red saree clad to her form like chocolate coat on ice-cream. The diamond earrings hung on her ears like stars in the night. Her beautiful luscious hair flew in its own accord with the wind. Her bangles jingled like they were rejoicing that Khushi wore them. She looked nothing less than perfect.

All men in the party stared at her like there was no tomorrow but one particular pair of eyes had the passion and heat that Khushi reciprocated.

As Khushi looked up to meet his eyes she saw the desire build up in his eyes as it traveled from her toes moving upwards landing on her eyes, captivating her. He looked so relishing and undeniably hot that Khushi's heart skipped a beat but the way he was looking at her Khushi could tell she made the same effect on his heart as he did on hers.

They stood there eyes locked as they spoke volumes remaining silent. Khushi had no idea that this was Arnav's choice and it was one of his darkest fantasies to see her in that red saree.

She saw him swallow hard and she could tell he was controlling himself.

The desire and love was mutual but none could express. It felt as if they were the only two present in the room and everyone else just vanished for them. They could only see each other. Wasn't this love?

Khushi battled with her heart and broke the trance. She closed her eyes briefly to regain composure as she forced a smile and walked towards the crowd. She went up and stood in the group that Arnav stood in because she was his P.A at this moment and she could not let anything make a hurdle for her employers.

She could feel Arnav looking directly at her and she just couldn't look upto him. She couldn't lose herself to him, not anymore. The air was formal with everyone else as they discussed business and soon Khushi excused herself saying she needed water.

As Khushi left the hall she ran directly out in the garden. It was decorated wonderfully, why wouldn't it be? She had done all that personally working extra hours. The trees were decorated with lights and so were the flowers which added to the beauty of the garden.

The fountain was sparkling with the yellow light she had gotten fixed to make it look exquisite. Everything was indeed looking classy.

Yet Khushi could not enjoy the beauty nor could she rejoice her hard work. She was feeling extremely exhausted and she sat down behind the large oak tree looking at the fountain. She wanted to cry but no she couldn't let anyone know what she was going through.

Khushi sat their silently for a while closing her eyes and taking breaths when suddenly a husky voice made her gasp and open her eyes as she flew up on her feet, standing straight.

"Sir, aap?" she tried to be formal with him.

"Khushi what are you doing here?" he asked looking concerned.

"I '. I '" she was at the loss of words as her blank mind could not make any excuses. For goodness sake she was not used to lying.

"Yes Khushi??" he walked forward, care visible on his face.

"Actually I was not feeling well' soo...I thought I should get some fresh air' besides such parties are boring'" she completed her sentence, being honest yet not revealing the reason.

"I agree" he smiled "' these parties are boring' soo' if you don't mind can I get some fresh air with you too?" he asked making a cute face.

"Yeah sure." She whispered not knowing what else to say as they sat down looking here and there.

After a while in silence Arnav finally spoke "Khushi did I tell you how beautiful you look tonight?" she gasped visibly at the compliment and as he continued she thought she would die "'You took my breath away!" he admitted honestly.

Khushi stood up "..Umm thank you sir but I think I should get going'" she started moving when he caught her hand lightly and she turned a bit'

"Mat jaoo"

She wanted to melt in his arms but she was just bounded by her alliance. Her thoughts broke as she felt Arnav press his lips lightly against her knuckles as he looked lovingly in her eyes, still sitting down on the bench.

Khushi shivered under his touch as he slowly stood up and held her by the waist pulling her closer, Khushi got completely lost in him. He inched closer.

"I just can't 'look away from you.. you look so delectable in the' red ..red saree.. it was my fantasy to see you in this'" he whispered slowly as Khushi blushed in the trance.

He moved the hair from her left shoulder and pressed light kisses along her nape and neck. Khushi shuddered under his touch. Nothing felt more right at that moment as he slowly moved up and captured her soft pink petal like lips in his manly lips.

He took it really slow savoring the moment, he knew it was her first time and he was being really gentle.

Arnav caressed her waist lightly and Khushi leaned closer. Arnav smiled mentally. Khushi's hand involuntary went around his neck pulling him closer as Arnav leaned in pecking her soft and delectable lips sending chills to his spine. This girl was the only one who could drive him crazy.

It was her first time and her inexperienced way of kissing him was teasing him to the very extent where he could die with love over-flowing from his heart. No one knew how long they'd kissed but finally let go for breath.

As Khushi gained breath she realized what she had done. She touched her lips. They kissed! They actually kissed! How the hell did she let this happen? How could she cross her limit? Now how will she face her amma? What will they say about her?

Now was the time that Khushi was going to tell Arnav that she was going to get married so he wouldn't get any wrong ideas and stay away from her.

Khushi looked up to Arnav and saw him blushing profusely. He was breathing hard just like her. He was looking here and there not being able to control his smile. Khushi didn't have the courage to tell him but she knew she couldn't keep him in the dark anymore.

Finally Khushi gathered up a little courage and spoke.

"Umm Arnav'"

*AT GUPTA HOUSE*

Payal entered the living room with tea as Buaji and Garima sat discussing about Payal's engagement. Payal sat down on the floor placing her head on Garima's lap as she smiled and placed her hand on Payal's head. Payal was really happy that she was going to marry the love of her life but she was going to miss her family more than anything.

Even her little Khushi was getting married. That is when she realized that in her happiness she forgot to ask about Khushi's husband. She didn't even know what he was and leave that she didn't even know his name!

"Amma.." Payal said softly.

"Hmmm" replied Garima still looking at the necklace.

"What does Khushi's to be husband do?" she asked curiously.

"Areh haan madhumati what does he do? I trust your decision so much that I didn't enquire."

Madhumati smiled as she replied ' "I heard he is a doctor'"

"Doctor?" Payal asked excited.

"Haan..." madhumati laughed feeling proud at her choice.

"What is his name?" Payal asked as she served tea to Garima.

"What was it' oh yes now I remember ' Arjun!"

"It's a lovely name."

*PARTY VENUE*

"Arnavji..hum'"

Just then Aman came out running.

"ARNAV! Anjali ACCIDENT!!"

This came as a huge shock to both of them. As they stood there frozen to the spot.

"WHAT DII?"

Aman was almost on the verge of crying, as he told them that.

"She fell from the stairs, nani just informed me. Lets go."

They all rushed to the hospital. As Arnav ran to the reception along with Aman and Khushi he saw nani standing and crying.

"Nani! How did' how did.. dii??" Arnav asked trying not to cry.

"She was making preparations for the arrival of NK and she slipped from the stairs. Her head is bleeding badly. And... and'" nani couldn't continue as she sobbed and Arnav held her.

Just the doctor came and informed them that Anjali was indeed bleeding a lot and she needed blood. Everyone gave a sample of their blood and Khushi's blood matched. The doctor asked her to sign a form and she donated the blood to Anjali.

Arnav, nani and Aman were really touched with the move Khushi made. She was indeed and angel. As they all sat down waiting Arnav got a call from NK asking him if he was coming to pick them up but Arnav said he couldn't and was sending a driver.

Arnav sat their consoling Aman as he cried bitterly. Both Arnav and Khushi were in tears too. What if something happened to Anjali?

Just then Arnav thanked his stars that Khushi came along as her blood matched and she saved dii's life. Arnav would have never been able to donate blood being a diabetic.

As they sat there waiting some words remained unsaid and some surprises were left being unraveled as the day had turned into disaster for all.

As they sat there Lavanya came running with NK.

"Khushi!" she said as Khushi immediately got up hugging Lavanya as she reciprocated to the hug equally shushing Khushi to calm down.

"What happened?" asked a curious NK.

"She fell'" Arnav replied in a small voice.

Just then Akaash arrived and they were all told about the accident. They all sat there praying to protect Anjali. Khushi texted Payal telling her that she will be very late and it's something important that came up. She told Payal to inform everyone else.

Everything was spoilt! The proposal that Arnav had planned for Khushi all had gone waste. But all that could wait because his dii was more important. He was happy that Khushi thought the same. He noticed that Khushi was not leaving although she could have.

She sat their her head on Lavanya's shoulder and her hand in nani's hands trying to comfort her. She was indeed magical. She was becoming the foundation of his family. She took care of everyone as if they were her own.

She had saved his dii. His dii whom he loved the most. He owed his life to this girl.

As the night dawned on Arnav got up and went up to where the others were seated.

"Nani all of you should get going now. You should take rest and I will be here with dii."

"But Chotey.."

"No nani! When you get a few hours of sleep then you come here and I will go home to rest, happy?"

"theek hai'"

"I will stay with you" insisted Khushi as Arnav nodded.

"And I am not going anywhere'" replied Aman his eyes still wet. Arnav could tell that he hadn't stopped crying.

So everyone left except Arnav, Khushi and Aman. They stayed there waiting for the doctor. As the clock ticked a sharp 8 in the morning the doctor finally came out.

"She is better now. But the injuries are too deep to heal soon so even if a little complication occurs she might be in danger."
