"List is ready?" Abhi asked meghana entering a classroom which was transformed to the Rangoli Competition Venue after clearing the desks and benches. Meghana nodded and looked at Nandini was busy pacing to and fro. "whom are you waiting for? Competition will start come help us!" meghana said. Nandini ignored and resumed her to and fro movement.

"whats up with her?" kriti asked bringing up flowers, chalk pieces and colour powders. "no idea..May be someone did a black magic upon her.. ever since she has come here she is acting weird!" Abhi said shaking his head. "when did she act normal tell me that!" Meghna commented. Kriti stood infront of Nandini, hands folded and eye brow raised "whats cooking now?" kriti asked. Nandini sighed and sat on the bench that was kept at the side. "is he always like this? Or am I so bad?" Nandini asked with a frown. "whom are you talking about?" Kriti asked. "who else! Yash ofcourse!" kriti smiled "you don't know him sweety.. don't run into assumptions!" kriti said. "assumptions? Didn't u see how rude he was! He didn't like me being the volunteer!" nandini said almost in tears. "its not like you think.. actually.. he was not in the mood today.. and there was some problem with volunteers.. you know some were quite irresponsible.. and he got to yelled by that lecturer because of someone else's mistake.. that's it..!" kriti said cheering her up. "don't convince me! He didn't like me.. that's why he was being rude I know it!!" nandini said stomping her foot and she went out.

Kriti frowned. She didn't want nandini to be upset. Nandini was a different girl. Kriti had seen so many girls checking out boys, commenting on them etc.. but nandini never once did she check out any boys or acted like a crazy girl. This was the first time she had seen nandini think about a guy so deeply.

"what? You guys haven't created a welcome rangoli yet!? Didn't I tell you abhi that there should a welcome rangoli? Then why isn't it done?" Yash howled at abhi. "Sorry bro.. I forgot.. I will ask someone to arrange it now.. gimme sometime.." abhi said. "sometime? Judges are coming to assign places for the participants.. I told u.. I want that rangoli ready before commencement of the competition!" Yash said. "yash.. relax.. we will do something okay?" kriti said. Just then the three judges came to the corridor were Yash, abhi and kriti were standing, "Yash.. everything ready? Shall we start?" Mrs.Meena HOD of computer dept asked him. Yash looked here and there. He sighed "yes ma'am.. this way.." he said leading the participants and judges towards the Rangoli Competition Room.

As they opened the door, the room was beautifully decorated. Whatever yash had instructed Abhi earlier was already done in the room. Yash grinned and he saw the amazed and proud faces of Judges. The participants were also impressed seeing how the old classroom was decorated. "if this is how you handle every event! I must say.. you can be promoted for the Cultural Secretary next year!" Mrs.Meena said patting Yash's back. Abhi kriti and meghana looked each other confused. This wasn't how the classroom was when they had left the room minutes earlier!

What took all the attention was the beautiful Rangoli that was spread on the floor using colours and different flowers! The whole Rangoli was decorated with clay lamps lighted in between the designs and the huge Oil lamp stood at the middle. "such an inspiration for the contestants!" one of the external judges commanded. "whoever had made this, I would declared it as the winning rangoli if it was a contestant!" another judge praised. Kriti looked confusedly at Abhi who intern looked at Meghana. Meghana stood there dumbfounded wondering who had done this!
