Prologue...

She was there to make her identity , and to fulfil her Mom's dream .

He was there to enjoy his dreams. His identity is his father.

They have attitude bigger than them .

They collide , they shattered.

She gathered herself and come again with an aim . He gathered himself .. but lost and restless ..

She is eager to punish . He is eager to get himself punished..

They are poll apart ...

But there is One thing which is binding them together...

The Punishment

It is time of festival 'Holi' and work load on police department increased many folds.

Geet was hell busy in her office matters. She came late, tired and annoyed. Meera and Yash told her to visit their places but she refused saying that she has lots of work for few days. They too understand her duty.

Maan didn't come home from last three days. He informed his father and gave reasons that he is checking the records. He was giving all the details to Ranjeet regularly. Ranjeet inquired about him with the help of his sources. He was informed that Maan is doing his work sincerely. Ranjeet felt relieved.

Here Maan was burning inside. He was annoyed and angry on himself. He felt that all cheated him and used him for their sake. There were so many questions and nothing was coming in his mind so he decided to stay alone for some time. It was a very tough time for him and he didn't want to take any step in a fit of rage. He knew that his life became a mess, full of miseries and he has to tackle it patiently. His Mom called him and asked him to come back home on Holi. She persuade him to celebrate Holi with them and he agreed for her and Daadima's wish. He didn't want to hurt his parents and Daadima anymore. He thought that he has to bear the outcome of his deeds. He was sure that there is something more to come in his life.

On the other side of the city ...

Geet was standing near the window and looking at the Moon. It was a beautiful night. Full moon was shining in the sky, she was in deep thinking and her lips curved in a meaningful smile. Something was running in her mind.

Next day Morning Maan started very early from the site, so that he could reach KM on time and join his family for Pooja. He reached there and all the faces beamed with happiness to see him on family Pooja. The whole Khurana family performed the pooja and applied colour to God's feet and took their blessings. Then Maan and Dev applied some Gulaal to Daadima's and their Mom's feet and they blessed both. Maan hesitantly took some colour and went to his Dad with lower head and asked...

Maan: Dad can i take ur blessing? Plz .

His Dad slightly nod his head and Maan applied the colour on his feet and took blessing after many years. Ranjeet Singh too was noticing some change in Maan's behaviour. A glimpse of happiness appeared on his face and then he turned and went to his study.

After taking their breakfast Maan went to change while Dev was requesting his Dad to permit him to celebrate Holi with his friends. His Dad allowed him after some conditions and Dev left at once. After that day Maan didn't attend Sam's calls and msg. He cut off himself from outer world. It was afternoon and Maan was in his study and watching some blue prints. His cell phone started buzzing, he threw a glance and it was an unknown No. So he ignored that. Phone buzzed again, now he annoyingly picks the cell and said ...

Maan: Hello.

Other side: Hello Mr. Khurana. ( A female voice came)

Maan: Whose it that side? (still irritated)

OS: Bahot jaldi hai janne ki Mr. Khurana? Hummm

Maan: Come to the point plz, why do u call me and who r u?

OS: Ok, Mr. Khurana .. .. jaisa aap chahen.. I hope ki aapko aapki khoobsurat pics. Mil gaye honge. Pasand aaye aapko aur aapke bhai ko? Jaroor pasand aai hongi ,hai na, akhir aap dono ki sketching bhi kaafi achchi hai. Mere paas kuch aur bhi pics and sketches hain aapke parents ke liye, aap kahen to mai bhej du ya aap hi dikha denge.

Maan rooted at his place, shocked and his face turned red with anger.

OS: hello, anybody there? Kya hua Mr. Khurana? Kuch bolenge nahi? Hmmm

Maan: kaun ho tum? Wo sab pics bhejne ka kya matlab hai?

OS: Abhi bhi nahi pahachana? Memory kaafi weak hai aapki Mr. Khurana.

Maan: who are you and what do you want? (he was losing his temper and spoke in a harsh tone.)

OS: I am Geet... kuch yaad aaya? Happy Holi Mr. Khurana. Ab to baaten hoti rahengi, don't avoid my call. ( and she cut the call)

The word Geet echoing in Maan's mind, his face drained its colour and he whispered very slowly ....G..e..e..t. He was sitting there motionless, only Geet's name was running in his mind. How could he forget this name? He didn't remember her features but her red swollen eyes and her name still alive in his memories. He was looking in blank. The memories of that day became fresh in his mind when he met her in his college. Their first meeting.

Past... Two years back... *** MBA College ...
