Episode-162
The episode was hysterical. The symbiotic charade of Arnav's crazy family deranged Arnav and made us ROEFL. I sometimes wondered how pragmatic Arnav bare Khushi's frivolous antics. Now I got it, he actually was very much used to with the insanity. Especially nani's act baffled me today. Isn't she just an older version of Khushi? How she answered each query of Arnav in sign language reminded me of the jhalli Khushi. And it's satirical how the whole clan actually danced in Khushi's tune. It also proves what an impact Khushi has in Arnav's family. After all she is the badi bahu.
Khushi insists Arnav to give her a slap. She closes her eyes, but when Arnav doesn't slap her, she opens her eyes. She says him not to punish the family because of her mistake. She slapped him and he should slap her back to fulfill the revenge. She again shuts her eyes.
"mardoo?'
Arnav comes closer and asks her gently, shall he slap? Khushi nods yes. He glances at her amusingly with his caramel eyes flickering with a lazy smolder in their depths.
"chodo rehene do tum sehe nahi paogi. (leave it, you won't be able to bear)"
pause: what did he want to do. Did he want to kiss her? i wish if he would give a peck on her beautiful cheek.
He says in an insanely seductive timbre of his voice. Khushi opens her eyes in a jolt. Her eyes simmer with tenderness. A microcosm of sensation inhabited between them. Khushi steps back after seeing his intense look. Arnav drawls with his eyes dancing with amusement. He says with his eyes smoldering with mischief, that it's her misconception that he opposed sangeet for her.
"I don't even think of you. Don't give so much importance to you, Khushi Kumari Gupta."
Uff what a lie! you sexy man! You do everything keeping Khushi in your mind.
Khushi looks at him ambiguously. He opposed for sangeet, cause he doesn't like music, dancing and hues.
"mujhe khamoshi pasand hai.jis ke bare mei tume pata bhi nahi hoga.
(I like silence, you must not have any idea, about it.)"
Khushi's mouth turns to her signature "O" to hear his contempt. The mean boy shuts the door in front of her face. She starts to cogitate. She still thinks because of her everybody are deprived to have fun.
All are sitting gloomy in Anjali's room. Anjali tells Khushi to leave it. Nani wishes to pray in satsang that chotey agrees for sangeet. Khushi is trying to find the solution. And god instantly shows her the solution through laxmi. Laxmi also seems upset to see them gloomy. She comes there and starts to make noise. Khushi tells her to be quiet, cause Arnav doesn't like noise, he likes khamoshi…...Khushi's dimaag ki batti jali, her face glints with a huge smile. she thanks laxmi to give her the awesome solution. She calls Anjali and Nk to let them know her idea. Mami also interested to listen.
"E sab karke sangeet honewala hai to humri kaan mei bhi psoosphoosai do."
They all look delectable to hear her plan.
Arnav is talking to Aman something related to his work. He is asking him why it's taking so much time to renovate his office. Khushi and NK's camaraderie must be poking him. 😆 He hollers "hariprakash". But no response from HP. When he looks up angrily he sees HP is standing right in front of him. He asks him if he was here, why he didn't speak. He asks him is the lunch served? Hp is still mute, tells him in sign language that the food is served.
"moon se bolo, damn it.(speak by words)"
But HP is still mum, begs him pardon and leaves.
"what"
He is perplexed.
"humri akhiyo ki kajal se hoti hai sab ghayal."
Mami is singing her funny song while descending down. Her phone starts to ring. She sees Arnav is also coming. She hands over the phone to answer. Arnav is confused, why he will answer her phone? He answers in Mami's insist. Arnav tells the caller that mami will call her later. Mami seems happy, but she leaves without saying a word. Arnav is surprised.
The door bell rings. arnav calls HP to open. But no response. So he opens the door. It's nani, still looks upset on him. He asks her from where is she coming from. She illustrates in sign language that she went to mandir. Arnav asks her why she is not speaking. She shows him to keep quiet. He again asks her what happened to everybody? Is everything alright? Nani shows him that she is hungry and they should go to eat.
When Arnav comes to eat he finds the environment mute. everybody is talking in sign language. Khushi joins them. He contemplates everybody keenly. When Khushi passes him, they stare at each other intently. Arnav asks them again, why they are not talking. When Nk is about to answer him, Khushi beckons him to be quiet. Nk shows him that his mouth is zipped. When he pulls the chair to sit, all looks at him flabbergasted, as if he did some mistake. He asks, did Akash come back. No response. He looks at nani , annoyed, nani nods her head no. arnav is enraging. They look at him with bafflement when he pours the water in the glass. he puts down the jug on the table and they all jerk to hear the noise. Arnav is incredulous to see their maudlin act.
Khushi tries to make him stop while Arnav was taking the food from a bowl. she quickly writes a note and passes it to nani. Nani snatches the bowl from his hand and give him the note. It says, there is sugar in it.
"moon se bol dite. (why didn't you said then)?"
Nani nods that they can't speak. Poor man looks really upset. He asks them again that what happened that they are not talking. Nk seems having difficulty to keep quiet. He starts to cough. He needs water. But there is no water in the jug. They even can't call HP, as they have to maintain their muteness. So Khushi decides to get the water. Arnav looks at Khushi queerly. He understands who is the mastermind behind this drama. He follows her to the kitchen.
In the kitchen Arnav tells HP to give NK the water and stands on Khushi's way.
'what the hell is going on Khushi?"
Khushi avoids him and intends to go. He blocks her way and asks the reason again, why everybody is behaving so strange?
"I know you did this all. What did you say to them?'
Khushi nods her head, but still mum. He aggravates more,
"you can't speak with me like this."
Khushi pretends that nothing happened.
Arnav screams at her
"why are you quiet, why everybody is silent?"
"ssshhh"
Khushi shows him to be quiet.
"why I will be quiet. And why you are quiet? Why you are not talking?"
( hmm, the chatterbox's silence is bothering him.)
He is enraged. Khushi finally breaks her silence,
"Cause you like khamoshi. And I know the meaning of silence. You don't like hues, you like loneliness, right? Then why you are so upset? I'm just doing what Mr, Arnav Sing Raizada likes."
She smiles mischievously and leaves, left him dumbfounded.
Khushi comes to the dining area and nods to everybody that she made Arnav understand. Arnav comes there and tells them to stop the drama.
"Mmmaaa……"
Laxmi's noise makes them laugh, as if Laxmi is the only one who is interested to talk. That's really mean of them.
"What you guys want to prove by doing such childish act so seriously? Where is di? Isn't she interested in your childish drama?"
( she is not interested! She is the main player.😆)
Nani thinks what to answer and finally shows him that she is in her room. Arnav asks what she is doing there? NK shows him that she is sleeping. Khushi nods him no. So NK shows that she is eating. Khushi admonishes him not to say this either. Mami sees that NK is doing the blunder, so she nods him to sit quiet. Nani shows that she is crying. Arnav asks did she eat. No she didn't eat also. Arnav comes beside Khushi to take food for Anjali, gives her an angry glare.
When Arnav leaves they exult their triumph. Khushi texts Anjali that the plan worked.
Anjali has almost finished her lunch when Arnav knocks her dear. She even couldn't read Khushi's text. She hides her plate under the bed, which swivels and comes in front of the bed. Arnav came with a plate full of food asks her what she is doing? Khushi, nani, mami and NK all are hiding behind the door to see the next act between the bro sis. Arnav asks her why she is not eating. He said he doesn't like hues, it doesn't mean that everybody stops speaking. Khushi notices the plate of anajli's almost finished food right under Arnav's feet. Aranv is insisting Anjali that at least she should talk to him. If she wants she can scold him, but she at least should talk to him. How his di can overlook his chotey's plea. She turns and cares his cheek gently. But her other crime partners nod her not to mellow. So Anjali turns again from him.
"it's alright, do whatever you want to do, song, dance, hue and cry, whatever. It's fine with me"
When Arnav looks down, Anjali shows them thumbs up that Khushi's idea worked. Anjali wants his assurance,
"really chotey?"
Arnav affirms her, but he has a condition that she has to eat first. Along with anjali ,rest of them get scared to hear this. Anjali says she will eat later. But Arnav is adamant, he will feed her full plate, then he will go. His lopsided smile, uff I'm dead. Anjali feels like crying now.
She is nodding them to do something. Khushi sees that Arnav is almost stomping the food plate. So she storms in and pretends to get hurt
"wuima humari chappal (omg, my sandal)"
She sits down and pushes the plate inside. She tells her that mami is calling as there are so many works are pending. Anjali tells Arnav that she will eat later. Arav who already knows that all are watching furtively tells them to come inside and stop their drama.
All slowly come inside stand in front of him like the naughty school kids who are just caught doing some mischief.
