Chapter#6
"When will we go to pick Khushi up from the airport?" – Payal asked Lavanya.
"We'll be going in an hour but we have to come back quick and prepare for the dinner." –Lavanya said. "Arnav will come at the dinner as well…" –Lavanya continued.
"Lavanya, did you tell Khushi about Asr?" –A worried Payal asked.
"Um… No." –Lavanya said, not moving her eyes from the laptop screen.
"What? You know she'll be angry of she gets to know about him coming to the wedding." – Payal said as she got up from the sofa and went to the bed beside Lavanya.
"I know but if I had told her about him she'd never come. I told you how difficult it was to convince her." – Lavanya said.
"And what about Asr?" – Payal asked worriedly.
"Khushi's the only reason he's coming to my wedding. You know how he never goes anywhere apart from his office. He instantly said yes when I mentioned Khushi." –Lavanya said as she sighed at her best-friends.
"It's funny how Khushi met Aryaan." – Payal laughed.
"It won't be funny once Khushi knows Aryaan's ASR's brother who ASR doesn't like very much." –Lavanya looked at Payal worriedly.

Khushi and Aryaan had separated once the plane had landed. Khushi had mentioned about Lavanya's wedding and that is when Aryaan had said he knew Lavanya as well. He knew her as his family was friends with hers. Khushi was now even more satisfied to know that Aryaan would be attending the same wedding as her. Khushi was about to ask about his family as she had never gotten a chance but she had totally forgotten about it as the food arrived in the airplane and both Aryaan and Khushi had forgotten about the wedding and also Khushi had let the chance slip as well. After bidding good-bye to each-other, Aryaan had asked Khushi to call him as soon as she reached home. Khushi had informed him about the dinner and Aryaan had made sure he came there.

As the three of the girls met, none of them could control their tears. They had stood at the airport several minutes but then instantly started laughing at each-other for no reason at all. Lavanya and Payal had lead Khushi to the car and had talked about all the things which were not related to Arnav in any sort of way. Lavanya had wanted to talk to Khushi about Arnav but seeing her good mood she had stopped. She wanted her best-friend to be happy and she would do anything to keep that smile on her face.

As they had reached the house, Lavanya's family had warmly welcomed Khushi with bear hugs and lots of meethai.
Later after a few snacks and a cup of tea, Lavanya's mother had rushed the three of them to get ready and that's when Lavanya had showed Khushi a picture of her to-be-husband. Khushi and Payal had teamed up and had constantly annoyed an abundantly blushing Lavanya.

Lavanya, Khushi and Payal had gotten ready and had rushed downstairs to attend any pending work left. Khushi was busy in her work when her mobile buzzed. It was a message from Aryaan saying that he'd be reaching in 10 minutes.
Khushi was still wondering if Arnav would be here or not because nobody had mentioned about him, not even by mistake. She had no idea that all of them were purposely not mentioning him in front of her. She had ordered her heart to not care about him anymore. He broke her heart and now she will be as if she would be meeting him the first time; that is if he came. She would smile, laugh and enjoy. She was here to meet her friends, to attend her best-friend's wedding. She won't let anything or anyone destroy her mood.
She was somehow happy Aryaan was here for her. And now she couldn't wait for him to come here and meet her friends.
A while later, Khushi went upstairs to her room to do her touch up as the guests were about to arrive; but she was oblivious to the fact that as she went upstairs Arnav and Aryaan both had arrived with their family which consisted of Akash, Manorama, Nani and Mama jee.
Lavanya's tension had instantly increased when Arnav had arrived. She had become restless.

As Arnav entered Lavanya's house, his eyes instantly scanned for Khushi one glimpse. His heartbeat had been escalating minute by minute. He could feel her but she was not to be seen anywhere. And much to his annoyance, his long lost brother who had been sent abroad had appeared out of the blue. He didn't want him here.
As everybody welcomed them, he had not even paid attention. Both Lavanya and Payal knew what his eyes were looking for.

Aryaan had excitedly gone to Lavanya asking her about Khushi when Lavanya told him that she was upstairs.
When Aryaan reached Khushi's told room, he entered with out knocking.
"Surpris… Wow!" –Aryaan had happily entered as he wanted to surprise Khushi when what he saw before him was breathtaking.
Khushi had been setting her hair in a bun when Aryaan startled her. Khushi instantly smiled brightly at him.
"You… you look… I don't know what to say… you look beautiful." –Aryaan said as he stepped forward to hug her. Khushi giggled before thanking him and hugged him back.
As they parted, Khushi heard that same husky voice and her eyes widened.
"Khushi…"
"Aryaan?'
"Arnav?"
"Arnav…"
