The Karuna-Lakshmi pair..

Is it me, or does the Karuna-Lakshmi duo come across as a total data-type-mismatch?? One is so sophisticated and educated, while the other is a pucca gaamthi straight from the khet of punjab 😕 😕 Now why wud they show something like that? Is it bcos Lakshmi was living with her gaamthi father all this while, while Karuna wore the pants in the family??? Otherwise why wud both mother and daughter make an entrance into WM separately if they were living together??😕 I am still very much confused abt this.....
