"Rishu I think its your phone ringing." I heard Anya say as she cleaned up the living room. My living room was , as of now not at all suitable for living. She was making me work too as she did most of it herself.

"Rishu I said attend your phone."

"Sorry I was thinking something. Chill babe" I said and she glared at me.

I looked at my phone and it was Niveda.

"Hey Nivi" I said.

"Rishabh Bhai, heard that you got engaged"

"Really? Who told you?"

"A little birdie"

"Birdie? Did I tell any?"

"Yeah one named Arnav Raizada"

"Oh him? I knew it" then we both laughed.

"Congrats bhai, I love you both together. You guys make a really cute couple. Just made for each other."

"You think so?"

"I do" she said.

"Thanks sis, too bad that you cant be here tonight."

"Who told you that I wont be able to come?"

"Your own brother Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada."

"I thought that I wont be able to come, but a while ago Liam told me that he wont be able to tolerate my Dad for long and we would be leaving earlier. So we decided to come there. Maybe around ten we will be there. "

"Thank god you'll be coming. I really wanted you guys to be here. Make sure to get here before dessert.

"Very well. Now don't tell Arnav bhai. We'll surprise him. Okay?"

"Okay, and be here soon, there is a surprise for you guys too"

"Same one you promised bhai?"

"Maybe"

"Just tell me Rishabh"

"I can only say that now. Because the surprise may change after Arnav reaches here"

"Okay, I don't get you."

"And by the way Nivi do you have any idea why he asked me to watch TV?"

I heard her laugh.

"He didn't tell you and asked you to watch TV? OMG he is up to that?"

"What did he not tell me and what is he up to?"

"if it is what I think it is then it would be great. Now don't waste time asking me as I wont be telling you. So just go and watch TV"

"Why wont you tell me dear?"

"Because bhai didn't tell you. Now bye. See you guys later. Tell Anya too"

"Bye. Take care"

It was around six forty when I switched on the television.

"There are many things to be done and you are watching TV Mr. Rishabh Singhania"

"Anya calm down sweetie. Just have a look dear everything is done. The room looks perfect. Im not watching TV and relaxing. Arnav asked me to watch something and Nivi said that he was up to something"

"And what is that?" She asked calming down a bit.

"Thank god you calmed down, if you had been like that for a minute more then I would have thought that I committed a mistake"

The way she glared at me made me shut my mouth.

"Rishabh I think I know the reason he asked you to watch TV"

"Why?" I asked with curiosity and yeah How did she know?

"Read the heading for the upcoming programme." She said to me pointing to the TV

Coming up @ 7: Arnav – Alisha break up?

"They broke up?" I exclaimed.

"Wait a minute more Rishu, its 6:59 already, you'll know soon"

The programme began and I concentrated on it.

'Vice Captain of the Indian cricket team Arnav Singh Raizada revealed to us a few days ago that he is in a relationship with the super model Alisha. We bring to you more hot news from Arnav Singh Raizada's life. The latest news is that they are no longer in that relationship'

I saw Arnav with Khushi, he confirmed that it was true that he and Alisha were no longer a couple.

This is what he wanted me to know. Now let him come here, I'll show him what I have in store for him.

I heard the door bell ring.

"I'll see" Anya said recovering from the shock of Arnav's break up.

KHUSHI

I stood in front of the huge mansion. I had parked my car next to a black Mercedes. Anya had found a wealthy man for herself I'm sure about that. I just hope he is not some balding old man. She deserves to be happy. I know for sure that she is not someone who runs behind money.

Singhania Mansion, I read the board in front. Singhania , as in Rishabh Singhania, Arnav's friend? Come on Khushi you need to stop linking every damn thing to Arnav.

Anya finally opened the door.

"Finally Anya" I said hugging her tight.

"How are you?"

"I'm doing great. In fact I just met Arnav. You know he called me. He freaking called me sis." I said as I walked in without an invitation. Oh come on I don't need an invitation to get inside my sister's house to be.

"Anya, you wont believe me if I told you what happened. As I got into my car to come here I got a call from a private number and I attended it and guess who it was The Arnav Singh Raizada. I was like about to pass out that he informed me that he wanted to meet me. I was so thrilled when he told me that he broke up with Alisha. Then I met him and took his short interview and then sent it to my office Then he asked me for coffee but I had to reject the offer as I had to be here. All these happened within an hour Anya, can you believe it?"

"And many more things will happen within the next hour too" Anya said something which I was unable to concentrate on.

I ignored her and kept on ranting. I hit someone on the way and I ignored him too. Maybe that was Anya's fiance. I felt as I've seen him somewhere but again I ignored him. Right now my mind was occupied by Arnav Singh Raizada, the one and only.

"Khush, you there?" Anya shook me from my thoughts and brought me back to the present.

"Yeah Anya, tell me?"

"I saw you interviewing him on TV"

"You saw? How was it? I recorded it myself in my camera"

"It was good. We saw it" Her fiance replied.

For the first time I noticed him, it was Rishabh Singhania. OMG I should have known. Once it had slipped from her that her then boyfriend's name was Rishabh and I saw the name board which said Singhania a few minutes back. I should have put them together, but where in the right mind was I to come to that conclusion. I was preoccupied with Arnav right.

This was unbelievable. I met Arnav Raizada in the last one hour, got to know that he broke up. Then he asked me out for coffee which I rejected and now Rishabh Singhania is my sister's fiance.

"So Khushi, meet Rishabh Singhania, my soon to be husband"

"Hi jiju ,I guess I can call you that now"

"Yeah you can Khushi"

"I believe you will keep my sister happy. By the way when am I getting an exclusive couple interview?"

"Boosting up your career at our expense?" Anya asked me and I smiled.

"Yeah I do deserve that, after all you hid it from me all this time"

"She is right Anya, she deserves that. And we too need to let the world know that I'm taken isn't it? All these time you've been avoiding the cameras, now you cant" Rishabh said looking at her.

"Okay, now I need to know everything about you guys, right from where you met. Take my word this is absolutely personal and I wont leak it to the media"

"I'll tell you Khushi" She began. Then it clicked me. Rishabh is her fiance that means she knows Arnav? She never let me meet him? I'll kill her

"Ms. Anya Gupta, wait a second. You know Arnav Singh Raizada?"

"I do and I'm sorry" She admitted meekly.

"You should not have done this to me Anya"

"Let me explain Khush, I would have told it to you long ago, but how the things changed, I was unable to do anything. But I assure you, tonight you'll get the chance."

"Wait, What? Arnav is coming too?" I asked her excited.

"Yes darling, now come with me and let me explain"

I went with her to the room on the left. She explained to me how they met and let me tell you there were absolutely adorable.

I heard someone close the door of a car. Maybe Arnav reached.

"Rishu" I heard Arnav in the room next to mine.

"Arnav I'm warning you for the last time, stop calling me Rishu"

"Okay. For now I wont call you that since I've more important things in mind. Tell me, saw my interview?"

"Yeah. And I must say, you did a great job"

"I? Dude, guess what?" He said and I was more interested to know the answer than Rishabh to whom he was talking.

"What?"

"Alisha broke up with me and not the other way around."

That sentence made me frown for some reason. So it wasn't him who ended the relation?

"What? You didn't and she did? I don't understand Arnav"

"Actually I wanted to break up with her and so I went to her place, but she never gave me a chance to do so , went ahead and broke up."

So he wanted to break up with her too? That is nice to know.

"Well you saw the interview? You know I called up her channel to get her number and the girl who attended the call wouldn't give it to me. Then her friend Ria took the phone and gave me the number"

Wait was he talking about me? I mean Ria is my friend. Wait he took my number from the office? What was going on? Why me? And why was Rishabh jiju not saying something?

"Yeah I saw. She was looking good, pretty sexy I must admit"

"ouch" It was Rishabh.

Wait, did Arnav just hit him?

"Cautious, you are engaged and she is mine"

"What?" Rishabh asked him and the same question was on my mind. Did he just say I belonged to him?

"Yeah.. I meant..." He stammered and was unable to continue his sentence.

"Tell us Arnav" It was Anya. I hadn't noticed when she left my side.

"You guys know" he said.

"We know what Arnav?"

"Why are you two playing dumb?"

"We aren't playing dumb Arnav. Just say it man"

"Okay, I love Khushi"

My world stopped. He loved me? Why? I mean I love him. Every girl loves him. He is the famous, hot and at the same time so cool, the vice captain of the national Cricket team. Why would he love me? We've met only thrice, once four years ago and twice within the past week. What is wrong with him? I know love can happen at the first sight, but never in my dreams did I think that Arnav would fall for me so easily.. The guy I loved loves me back. When did I get this lucky?

Coming out f my thoughts I decided to listen to what he had to say. I just then realised that I was so immersed in my thoughts that I never listened to what he said next. I moved to the door to see what was happening there. All I could see was Rishabh and Arnav engulfed in a man hug while Anya stood next to them facing me, smiling at them.

Anya then noticed me and signalled me to go inside. I saw the boys break the hug. Even though I didn't understand why she did that I obeyed her and went in.

I heard Anya speak.

"So Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada, you are in LOVE. Well even though we appeared shocked when you said that you loved Khushi, we knew it, we were just acting as we wanted you to admit that. We knew that from the beginning"

"You are kidding me Anya?"

"No bro, we aren't. We really knew it from the beginning. Remember I said I've a surprise for you ?" That was Rishabh speaking.

"Yeah I do remember that Rishabh, and you told me that you would surprise me when I break up with Alisha."

"Yeah the same"

"And what is that?"

"Sorry bro, I cant tell you that anymore"

"And why is that?"

"Because I heard that you didn't break up with her, she broke up with you"

"So what Rishabh? You know, I told you the whole thing"

What surprise were they talking about? I would really love to know that.

Rishabh was now laughing and Arnav was being really impatient. And then Anya interrupted.

"Rishabh stop teasing him and you Arnav go to the first room on the left, your surprise is waiting for you there"

"Not so fast Arnav" Rishabh tried to stop him, but the former was way too fast.

I saw him turn left. Wait, was he coming to me? Anya and Rishabh meant me when they said surprise? OMG what was I supposed to do now? I didn't have a clue and so I came with a master plan. I decided to hide. Yup you heard it right I decided to 'freaking' hide. I got behind the door.

I was famous among my cousins for hiding behind the door. In our childhood whenever we used to play hide and seek I would hide behind any of the doors and it would take them ages trying to locate the correct door. Anya used to be the only one who could finally find me.

I saw Arnav enter the room and I held my breath. He was perfect, I could only see his back. I assume he didn't go to his house as he hadn't changed his attire from earlier today

He looked here and there as if he was searching for something. I guess he wouldn't even imagine in the wildest of dreams that I could be his surprise. He was trying hard to find out his surprise. Finally he gave up.

"Anya , Rishabh is this some kind of joke? I cant see anything here" he called out to them irritated.

"Not Anything Arnav, anyone. And don't forget to look behind the door" Anya said in a calm and composed tone. Now I could hear her laugh.

I should've known Anya would do this to me. I could have hid in the bathroom too. Why didn't I just do that?

I heard Rishabh ask her why she told Arnav to look behind the door and before I could hear her reply I saw Arnav standing in front of me. I heard the door being locked.

Wait did they just lock us in?

What do I do now?

I think Arnav had the same question in mind

"Khushi?" To say he was surprised wont be true. He was literally shocked. Actually that would be an understatement too.

I concentrated on his features. He was so damn hot. I could spend my whole life looking at him.

"Khushi?" he tried again

"Hi" I managed to choke out. Thank god for that.

"What are you doing here?"

"Hiding. Obvious answer isn't it?" Khushi you are going to destroy everything yourself. He isn't that dumb that he cant understand that you are hiding here.

"I know that. I meant what are you doing at Rishabh's place?"

"I'm Anya's cousin and also her best friend"

"What? You are Anya's cousin? Then how come I'm seeing you here for the first time?"

"Actually she wanted me to meet Rishabh in person and know that she was dating the famous cricketer, but because of our busy schedules we never got a chance to meet for a long time and

Anya's boyfriend remained a mystery to me. Only if I had took some time out when she called we would have met a long while ago"

Did I just say that loud? Oh god, let him not have heard that.

He didn't say anything. but his shocked expression was now gone but was replaced soon with excitement.

Then there was complete silence for a while. He appeared to be in deep thoughts and I used the time to check him out. Oh god don't let him know I'm drooling over him now.

"I heard what you said out there to Rishabh and Anya, Did you mean ..."

ARNAV

I knew Rishabh was hiding something from me, but I never in my dreams thought that it would be this big. Khushi told me that she was Anya's cousin. I should have known Rishabh was planning something big. I had suspected her being here when I saw that car but brushed off that thought thinking why she would be here. I thought it might be my mistake imagining Khushi everywhere.

Later I felt her presence when I stepped inside the house but Rishabh distracted me. Now I was standing in front of Khushi and she was looking at me, more like checking me out and I felt comfortable, something which never happened when I was around girls, even Alisha my ex-girlfriend.

"I heard what you said out there to Rishabh and Anya."

I knew where she was heading

" Did you mean ..." I cut her off by pressing my index finger to her lips. Those pink lips of hers were very soft.

The way those eyes of her widened at my actions amused me. She looked too cute and her expressions made me want to hug her. And then I hugged her. It felt heavenly. Sparks were flying all around and then she hugged me back. I felt like I was on top of the world. I wanted time to stop there so that we could stay like this forever.
