Chapter#17

"Well I'd like to see you make them or try to make them with you." –Arnav whispered.

Khushi was slowly forgetting the real world. This was like one of her dreams. She had dreamt that Arnav and Khushi were in their kitchen and were making Jalebi's together. Also were happily married. He has got to be insane, thought Khushi.

Arnav took a few steps back and looked at her with a smirk.

"Come on now, start making them. I want to see." –Arnav said as he pointed towards the stove.

Khushi looked at him absentmindedly and walked over to the stove. She started mixing the batter from where she had left and looked at Arnav from time to time.

Arnav therefore looked sideways to where Anjali was hiding. His Di could act like a sneaky kid at times. She had a huge smile plastered on her face and looked at them dreamily.

Why isn't she going? –Arnav thought to himself.

Arnav looked back at Khushi who was making circles in the air with a piping-bag in her hand while biting her lips and a frown on her face. Suddenly Arnav's heart took over his ASR brain. He didn't know what got into him and he took a few steps towards her and got behind her. There wasn't any space between them as he slowly slides his hands down her arms which brought Khushi to the real world. He took hold of her wrists as gently as he could.

Arnav didn't realize that Anjali had limped off.

"Ar…nav jee?" – Khushi stammered.

"Is this how you make them Khushi?" –Arnav whispered in her ear which sent shivers down her spine. Arnav bent down and kissed her cheek.

The sound of giggling brought the ASR in Arnav back. He stopped that instance and looked up to witness Anjali, Shyam, Nk, Akash and Payal giggling and suddenly all of them broke into laughed.

Arnav looked at Khushi and witnessed her crimson cheeks. Khushi looked down at the floor.

"What the?" – Saying this Arnav walked out of the kitchen swearing at everybody.

Khushi stood there, embarrassed.
