Shiamak choreographs TV Actors in 'Star Parivaar Awards'

Small screen is no longer small, it has become bigger and better. When it has Bollywood actors playing meaty roles in serials/shows then why not an ace choreographer to direct dance sequences for award shows. This happened recently in Star Parivaar Awardswhere famous choreographer Shiamak Davar made TV actors dance on his instructions.

This is the 10th edition of Star Parivaar Awards and it has to be different and grand not only in terms of sets, costumes and awards but in entertainment factor too. To add grandeur to the performances Shiamak choreographed ebullient dance sequences. We all know Shiamak is a master in Western and Jazz dances, it must be really interesting for him to teach latkas and jhatkas of Bollywood to small screen actors.

This is for the first time he has choreographed something for Television. I am pretty sure TV's bahu and betiyaan must have had lot of fun. Shiamak is very creative in dances and he has put in all his efforts to make this award show stand out.

"I think we wanted to do something very different. Also, something in which we could also involve the parivaar and not just do only song, and award. We decided to give it a very musical flavour" Shiamak said.

Sooraj-Sandhya from "Diya aur baati hum", Aditya-Pankhuri from "Pyaar Ka Dard Hai", Gopi-Ahem and Rashi-Jigar from "Saath Nibhana Saathiya", Aakash-Poonam from "Ek Ghar Banaunga", Ranvijay-Veera and their on screen mom Ratan from "Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera" as well as "Nach Baliye 5? winners Jay Bhanushali-Mahi Viz, grooved in Shiamak style. Besides choreographing big movies, Shiamak has choreographed IIFA, Filmfare,Common Wealth Games Melbourne and Delhi. He is a receipeint of National Award for his outstanding work in "Dil To Pagal Hai" which changed the dancing style of Indian Cinema.

Oldies to young melodies, Yash Raj Film studios was echoing with Star Parivaar Award's sparkling performances.To grace this occassion few Bollywood "A" listers were invited which included Ritesh Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.

Talking about the red carpet, everyone was looking fab in their outfits. Saas, Bahu, Betiyaan etc were all seen in traditional avatars.

Well, it seems that Star Plus has left no stone unturned to garner maximum TRPs from it's much awaited extravagant event of the Year. This starry night will surely be liked by all the viewers.I am super excited to see who wins maximum awards and who dances like a Star! The show will be aired soon in July.
