Savitriji came and stood near Ram.She looked at him and he assured her to be confident.

She said-Aaj mere liye bahut hi khushi ka din hai,Duniya ke har ek dada dadi ki wish hoti hai ki wo apne pote ya poti ki zindgi settle hote hue dekhen,Aaj mera ye sapna pura hone jaa raha hai, Iske baad mujhe aur kuchh nahin maangna us upar wale,jab bhi main apni aankhen hamesha ke liya band karoongi to dil me ek sukoon hoga ki maine zindgi ki har khushi ji li.
Maan-Dadi please stop it .ye aap kya kah rahi ho.
Savitriji-Nahin Maan ye sach hai beta.Bhagwaan har maa baap ko tum jisa beta de kyunki meri wish puri karne ke liye hi tum shadi karne ko razi ho gaye.
Maan-Dadi ye emotional character aap ko suit nahin karta.
Savitriji smiled and patted her cheek-Haan shayad sab log bore ho rahe hain mera lecture sum kar
All laughed at this and clapped for her.
Savitriji-Ab main aap sabko Maan ki hone wali dulhan se milaana chahti hoon.Please welcome the beautiful daughter of Mrs Pammi Khanna and Late Sagar Khanna.. before she could complete her sentence Sameera came ahead and moved in the direction where they were standing .Maan closed his eyes as he didn't want to hear that name. Geet didn't have any strength to look there so she stood there starring at the floor.She could see every thing going far away from her.

Guests gave a huge round of applaud for the girl but some persons were standing frozen at their places.Maan opened his eyes with a jerk as he thought that dadi was being emotional so she called Geet by mistake.Geet was looking at them with wide eyes as she thought that she was not having the full control over her mind so she heard it wrong .Sameera was stopped in her track as she thought that dadi was speaking some alien language.She looked at Savitriji with confusion and Pammi thought that Savitriji was used to like Geet so she took her name unknowingly. Salma was too confused too.abhi abhi to kaha tha ki Sameera aur Maan ki Sagai hai aur ab Geet ko bula rahi hain.
Maan-Dadi what are you saying.I think you called Geet by mistake.
Pammi-ji maa ji, Sameera aur Maan ki engagement hai to aap Geet ko kyun bula rahi hain?
Savitriji-Nahin Pammiji.maine galati se nahin balki jaan boojh kar Geet ko bulaya hai.I m sorry ki ye baat humne aap se pahle nahin kahi but Maan aur Geet ne majboor kiya hume ye kadam uthaane ke liye.humne Maan ko bahut samjhaane ki koshish ki par ye razi nahin hua.aap ko bataate to aap Geet se baat karti aur wo bhi nahin maanti
Geet was watching all those happenings with dumb expression.she could sense today that every thing was going to be snatched away from her.Today she was going to be an orphan in real sense

Pammi-Par Maaji Geet Maan se pyar nahin karti.Maan ne mujhe khud bataya.Geet ne bhi kabhi kuchh nahin kaha.
Savitriji-Aap ko pata tha ki Maan Geet se pyar karta hai .aap tab bhi apni doosri beti ka rishta Maan ke saath karna chahti thi?
Maan-Dadi ye kya bachpana kar rahi hain aap.maine pahle hi kaha tha ki main sameera se shadi karna chata hoon,Phir aap ye tamasha kyun kar rahi hain. Though it was his dream to hear her Geer's name for being her soulmate. but not in this way. It wasn't the correct moment. Maan could see the coming moments in which Geet was going to face that humiliation which he never wanted her to face.May be he was going to lose Geet for ever today. He smiled while looking up as he was accusing the almighty.
Savitriji-Maan baar baar kahne se jhooth sach me nahin badal jata.tumhen suboot chahiye.it's okey maan today we have a proof too that you don't like Sameera. she signaled Samrat and Samrat nodded after few second all heard Maan's voice in the hall followed by Geet's voice

Sameera didn't have anything to say.She didn't love Maan and she knew it well that Maan too didn't love her. It was a marriage for convenience to her. She didn have any thing to say.She nodded her head and turned to go to Geet, Dadi was happy to see that Sameera didn't take it on heart.She watched her go towards Geet.
She waited her to bring Geet in the center.. Geet was wacthing her coming to her self She was having tears of guilt in her eyes.Sameera reached near Geet and Geet backed with fear

before she could complete her sentence she received a tight slap from Sameera on her face.Geet hold her cheek and again try to said but Sameera again rose her hand to give her one more slap but couldn't touch her face.She found Maan holding her hand in air.
Maan-How dare you Sameera to touch her.
Geet already was in fever so was very low in energy she was almost going to fall but Maan held her in her strong arms-Geet. Geet was about to faint due to weakness.Maan helped her to stand by keeping her in his arms.
Sameera-so you have shown your true colors Geet.Tumne promise kiya tha na ki tum maan se shadi karne me meri madad karogi.this was the way you were helping me.Mere peeth peechhe Maan ke saath pyar ka chakkar chala rahi thi.

Geet was standing speechless.she couldn't understand what was going to happen with her.
All were watching this unexpected happening with shocked expressions. There was pin drop silence only Sameera and Maan were talking.Still they were talking in a low tune so no one could clearly hear them.
Finally Ram interfered -ye ho kya raha hai?

Geet folded her hand-dadi please mujhe maaf kar dijiye.she tried to hold her hand but Savitriji stopped her by her hand.and she felt some pain in her heart and she clutched her heart with her hand and fell down on the floor.

Maan left Geet's hand and came to pick dadi up. Geet was feeling herself responsible for all.Maan bent down to pick dadi and after taking in his arms he got up and Saw Geet taking her steps back. she looked at Maan for the last time. Maan saw her but she smiled with her teary eyes and turned to go from there

and he put dadi on the sofa. his eyes were burning with tears.Aarti came and checked her up. All were waiting with their breath in their lungs.no body was concerrned now for Geet or Sameera. their whole concern was on savitriji who was lying almost lifeless.there.
