yaar, agar unki koi nayee khabar aaye to mein zaroor bataaungi, but these days i rely on Supi/Kate and others on this thread to get me the news...the latest was backwa, i'm ready for more. miss him so bad!!

the man is impossible... not to be seen or heard. aaah, okay, i barged in to discuss a certain ocean called indus. if we are talking of my girth... certainly an apt name. as to doctorate deep knowledge of ipk, ha ha, you all got taken in by the verbosity and the age. i knew one of them would get ya, 😆.

but just love hanging out with all of you chatting this mad thing... keeps me safely tucked in my skd, ad is highly over rated and full of too much pointless activity. give me my corner, my comp, and feet up on stool, fingers lazy on keyboard any day.

thobda is a colloquial, fairly rude way of saying "face" in hindi. usually not said in a sweet, polite, or romantic context... so when ami said someones yummy thobda held her in thrall, i started to giggle and said only barun can make a word like thobda sound groovy... and so stareted around of thobdatitis on the thread.

Was amazed with my train of thoughts, wondering why am I thinking about a fictional couple at that time, though I felt really overwhelmed at the similarity. But certain doubts remained, am I going overboard with my craziness with IPK?

And then I come back to the room, browsing the thread on my phone and discover the conversation between Indi and IssPKaur about Khushi and women in general being robbed of their individualities in the guise of love and care.Nothing relating to my thoughts above, but I was really touched with the discussion and realised that it is perfectly sane to be mad about a TV serial. Thank you Indi, Issk and everybody else who keep digging deeper and try to bring out the hidden aspects upfront.

now you're talking, durga... aah what a lovely piece. of course, it is most natural to wander off to asr khushi at the mention of any fabled couple... and you're talking the cosmic jodi. shiva the wild one, smoking pot, hanging out with the guys, ungroomed, spaced out, but utterly pure and elevated, gorgeous in parvati's eyes, she with a father who stood firmly against the union (what a plot). i am not much of a temple goer, though sometimes i hear a call and land up or have a dire need and rush off... but that image of the not perfect yet fabulous male, with his immense anger... his dance of rage... his wife completely immersed in him, and he in her... mmm i am not surprised you thought of some people.

every great love story leading to union through that indescribable feeling called love is at some level the same, isn't it? which is why, radha krishna was brought up so many times i guess in ipk, only that they subverted the whole thing... she was his mami they say, and he the lover of thousands of gopis, they never married, yet was there ever a greater love epic in our land... what maturity thousands of years ago, that understanding of a feeling.

Feels like being home after a LONG time.. flying there here and around.. finally reaching the abode! Hope every one is fine. I see all the hot and thobda discussions smeared every where!:) So can tell you guys are having a blast... missed all of you badly.. but NEVER away in my thoughts!

Hope to catch up with all discussions!

Was reading Wiwy few days ago.. and my eyes stopped right here.."when he emerged from the kitchen side, in a charcoal grey three piece suit holding a steaming cup of coffee. A ray of sun popped out of the clouds"... will that sun ever emerge out of the clouds again for us?? what a metaphor Wiwy.. or rather I took it as!!

Seeing few of old IPK pals that I ardently debated and discussed with for months about this show, moving onto other shows, talking about Barun, Sanaya in different avatars.. only reminds ASR's words..."itna asaan hai tumhare liye"?? But for this wonderful place and group with congenial souls post last Nov, I would have felt as homeless as one could! Thanks one and all!
