Episode-142
Parallel scene, two soul mates who are destined to be together, one is in the edge to break a coerced relationship, other one is declaring her already broken alliance. One is in contrition to break his to be fiance's heart. Where his soul mate is convulsing to reveal the secret of the reason, why it called off. the episode was intense and somehow melancholic, but at the same time it heralded the alliance of another couple who are made for each other. Destiny has to unite this soul mates now.
Indeed parallel ...as they both were going through with the same convulsion yet the situation is different.
"What am I doing?" He asks himself. He recollects how he ignored Lavanya's feelings. When she asked him, "don't you love me". He refuted in anger, no, he doesn't love her. His contrition is very visible in his countenance, "I didn't do right to Lavanya." He mutters himself, clutches his fist in compunction, he can't do knavery with her.

Arnav sees Khushi came to RM, still looks forlorn. He stands for a while to look at her. He thought something. What did he think? May be he got more determined to tell Lavanya the truth.
He was and he knows he will take care of her yet he has to rectify which created because of her...Khushi is his part and can't be away from him...and he knows it just don't want to accept it.
Anjali is looking delectable, she comes to talk to Khushi. Khushi's tension pulsates more to see her, she grabs the strap of her bag to get some courage.
"I tried to call you for so long. Did you forget there will be two engagement take place in this house?"
She notices Khsuhi's woebegone state. .Anjali asks her, is everything alright, why she is looking so pale? Khushi says that she wants to say her something. It sure indicates that Anjlai's marriage is now on Khushi's hand. If she reveals Shyam's truth, her marriage can break, like the mangalsutra.

Anjali gets frightened in premonition. She thinks it's a omen and gets scared if her husband is fine or not. She can't live without him. (Your husband is absolutely fine Anjali, but your marriage is at stake for sure.) She runs in front of the DM idle to pray for his life and safety.
Khushi comes to console her. How can she tell her the truth now, where she is seeing how much she loves her husband! Anjali is crying clutching her mangalsutra close to her heart. Khushi assures her that nothing happened, everything is fine, her husband and her marriage as well. She tells her not to cry. she thinks no wrong has happened and she promises she will not let any wrong to happen. I'm surprised how cum Anjali didn't see her words strange or fishy. Did she ever thought why Khushi is promising to protect her marriage? Dumb lady, sometimes avert your thought from your blind love and think practically.
She does sohara.yet wants to remain in her protective shell.Both bro and sis have this shell around them and it's hard for them to come out.He is lucky he got Khushi who brought him out and khushi is the one who is promising her to keep her marriage safe now and later she will open her eyes but at a big cost

Her voice is quivering in fear. Anjali's words put Khushi in quandary again.
Arnav comes to La's room. He can't linger this issue any more. To see him La gets scared in anticipation. She sure suspected something wrong. She starts to blabber unnecessarily. So many work has to get done in such a short time! She gets two tone of fabric for his suit, what color will suit to him, classic black or charcoal grey! Your eyes she stopped. She knows how beautiful those caramel orbs are!. She thinks charcoal grey will look good with it. She doesn't let Arnav talk, just keep talking, needs to go to parlor, she goes on, avoiding eye contact with him.

Arnav keeps his hand on her shoulder, "Lavanya, I need to talk to you."
She gets scared again. She is not ready to hear the brutal truth. She clutches the dress (I think it's her engagement outfit, she just doesn't want to let it go) She denies to listen, 'no you don't have to ASR."
Nice observation and yes her fear is so natural...she loves him though not deeply as Khushi does ...it's hard to et go of something so precious.

Khushi sees Anjali is talking to the pandit about some braat and pooja. She thanks God that her husband is safe. She tells her that she wants to perform a special pooja for her husband's safety.
Pause: Oh Gosh how superstitious Anjali is!Or how much she loves that atrocious man. Kash he could value her love. That wicked man doesn't deserve her immense love though.
Finally Anjali notices Khushi's tension, She asks her what's wrong, she apologizes to get distracted because of the mangalsutra. She reminds her that she wanted to talk to her about something. Khushi fidgets, touches her dupatta, tries to gather some courage. Anjali notices that her ring is missing. After hesitating a bit, Khushi tells her that her engagement broke.
Anjali gets flabbergasted to hear it. She asks her how did it happen? how the alliance broke and how did she make such big decision?
"How did it happen?"
She knows she is intruding her personal matter, but she needs to know. Wher she is feeling so bad, Khushi must be feeling worse. She tells her that nani will also feel bad for her. She knows how much nani loves her. Hearing nani, something strikes in Khushi's mind.
Arnav wants to talk to Lavanya. La doesn't want to hear anything. She is too amorous to Arnav.
"plz ASR don't say anything."
Tears well up in her eyes.
Arnav touches her cheek,
"Lavanya what you feel for me, I don't feel same like you. May be never did. And now."
His voice quivers.
Purity of his heart, no lie , no gimmicks, no emotional drama just simple acceptance .love these kind of people ...hard to find one
"now can't lie to you any more. in fact, can't insult you more by telling you more lies, not for me, but for you. I mean, hum dono (both of us) Lavanya you and me, this."
He can't finish, La grabs his hand
"I know ASR.I thought you would say this to me. I perhaps felt it before, somehow it was my fear that our relationship would end like this. You know, without any."
They turn back from each other,
"I knew, perhaps didn't want to accept it. Kept telling lie to myself, All the time. That much of lies, that those lies seemed real to me. I know you wouldn't like it. But for the last time, for once can you hug me?"
She is crying incessantly. Arnav's memory, whatever she got from him is indelible for her. I felt a pang of pain for her that she feels he doesn't even like to hug her.Contrition is visible in his expression. They turn to face each other gradually. For the first time Arnav took Lavanya in a warm embrace. His compunction is killing him to hurt her like this.
Pause: Sana disappointed me in this scene. She couldn't emote the intensity.
She finally realized
Asr begs her an ardent apology.
"khuch sawalo ki jwab nahi hote. It's funny, na ASR, Jaise hum logo achanak engagement ki, mujhe kaise pata chala ki kuch theek nahi.Tumhe kaise realize hua, ki tum mujhe itna pyaar nehi karta, jo mein tumhe karta hoon.
Translation" there is no answer of some questions. It's funny, how we suddenly got engaged, how did I find out that something is wrong. How did you realize that you don't love me the way I do."
Arnav keeps his hand on her shoulder to stop her. He can't hear any more. He agitates to see her incessant cry.
"are you OK?' he asks her in a soft tender tone, modulate his voice more husky. He is really concern for her. He thinks they should tell it to the family and tell it together.👏👏👏
La's expression confused me. Any way she doesn't want Arnav to tell everybody about their break up.
Again Sana couldn't emote properly.
"sabko dukh pauchake hume kiya milega. What I'll get by hurting all. Plz anjali ji by mistake, don't say to anybody about my broken alliance. Moreover jij and Akash's engagement is a very big day for both of the family."
A very sensible decision of a very mature girl.
"what about your pain? You know what are you asking me to do".
Anjali is ambiguous.
In the parallel scene, La is also saying the same thing to Arnav. she thinks it's not the right time to reveal this. Everybody is so happy. Mamiji agreed for Akash and Payal's marraige after so much difficulties. If sh ecomes to know about their break up, it may affect Akash and Payal's engagement. She doesn't want that, because of her, nani and di get upset.
Arnav smiles in satiation to see her sensibility.
"I can't believe this that you are so concern for my family."
Arnav cares her cheek again,'I respect you for this."
La can't control her emotions, she again hugs him.
"you respect me, but love!"
She breaks the hug, wipes her tears and says sorry.(Jhappiya-shappiya lele Sana, that's your farewell treat. That time Sana was leaving the show to participate Ms. India pageant.)
La doesn't want Arnav to feel guilty about this matter. "I mean it"
She wipes her tears,
So it's decided that we will not gonna say it to anybody."
Arnav convulses to hear her.
La didn't retaliate. She even didn't want to put the blame on ASR. She acted like a connoisseur here. I salute La for not being vindictive or nasty. She just accepted the fact. She knows Arnav is not to blame. From the very beginning he was very clear about their relationship. He never made any commitment to her. To avert his feelings from Khushi, Arnav took the abrupt decision to marry her. Lavanya is a grown up, matured woman. It was literally impossible to ignore Aranv's reluctance to her. So she finally admitted that she ignored the fact and kept telling lie to herself. But Arnav came to break up the relationship first. In this case I have to say that Arnav's love won. The enormity of his love for Khushi compelled him to break La's heart. He thought it rightfully, that he is not only deceiving himself but deceiving La too. Some may think that Arnav deceiveded La. But if he would marry her, he would deceive her and him as well.
Arnav just accepted his feelings for Khushi by rejecting Lavanya.
Yes that last line is powerful,yes he does not realize it yet KHUSHI is living in him and he can't give anyone her place.simple..They both are doing things which is pure love and care for each other but acknowledgement is not fully awaken...yes slowly seeping in and that's why his reaction over her break down on his shoulder shattered him and he is restless since then ,he can go further a mile for this girl and don't know why...
La is so simple here and way mature.She is accepting the fact he will not be happy.again this is a trait of a girl who brought up abroad [no tomatoes plz] as I have seen and live both ways ...this is my experience...our culture and brought up of girls does not make them think of act this way.They are not brave as they are ...An instillation of fear in girls starts early childhood so they can comply with BAHU crap...and good wife thing which irritates me...yet La here is winning millions heart..good or bad acting don't care .message has been delivered.

Everyone is Fine?
Lavanya says, yes, she is leaving and he replies she doesn't have to.
Of course she does ASR, why else would she live there if not for marriage?
She appreciates his honesty.
Nani has called them downstairs, they have decided to tell the family after Payal and Akash engagement and they will do it together.
They are fine.
The Gupta's have entered Shantivan. Anjali does "round, round" (dedicated to our brave Lavanya), to Payalji. She has forgotten the grains and calls for them. This is the moment we have all been waiting for' the introduction of Shyam to the Gupta's after the revelation.
He comes walking very slowly and the Gupta's have looks that could kill on their faces and hurt, and then the ritual is completed. Nani asks Kushi about her fianc. Anjali covers for Kushi and says that Kushi told her yesterday he was not able to come. They all come in, just love Sashi's face, he wanted to tear Shyam apart!
Kushi thanks Anjali for saving her Anjali tells her she doesn't know who her fianc was but he doesn't know what he has lost.
Oh he does, Anjali, he does!
Unbelievable frame, Shyam first, Anjali in the middle and Kushi behind Anjali. I am sure that ArshiHamesha will have something to say about that so I will leave that interpretation to her.
Anjali leaves first, and as Kushi is walking away Shyam attempts to speak with her. What nerve he has! He thanks her and she curtly says no thanking her but thank his wife for it is she who trusts you! She tells him she didn't keep quiet because of fear but for Anjali. She gives him a fina;l ultimatum that if he messes up or does one more wrong thing she will be forced to tell Anjali. She tells him not to come near her!
She is fine?
Nani calls him to introduce him to the Gupta family. She tells him they are also from Lucknow, and they have raised their daughters with good values that bring love, peace and happiness to the family. This uncomfortable situation was handled well by all. Nani says Shyam is an attorney and thereby protects the truth; all faces drop at that. They know this truth is not a truth at all. He is a big fat liar! Buaji was just about to strangle him (my POV) and Kushi stops her.

Mami and her friends are sitting at a table discussing Payal and her family. Buaji overhears and stops at the table. Payal joins her. They talk about owning a textile mill and payal sets the record straight; her aunt had a small shop and it is closed now. Mami has tried to embellish her future daughter in law's family status. Payal tells them her father had a confectioners business but hence it has closed since his stroke. As per G-d's wish.
Anjali asks Kushi to bring Payal to her room where Lavanya is. Payal and Kushi leave. Kushi tells Payal to go to the room upstairs she will be there is a little while.
Buaji pulls Mami aside and asks her why she is lying. Mami says why shpuld whe tell them that they are from a family of confectoners? Hey, Mami be careful, I am a baker too! Then Buaji tells her she is very proud of her family. Nasty Mami answers her that she wanted so much pride for daughter in law but now she has had to give up on that. Come on, Mami, you better remember where you came from. Buaji tells her she should stop saying" HHBB" and start chanting the name of G-d since they are going to be relatives. She leaves. Mami's friends taunt her a little but say her DIL seems very nice who cares about the family. Mami tells them nothing will ever happen without her permission, understood?

Kushi knocks on his door and says it is funny that when we first met you didn't believe in marriage and look what has happened. He opens the door and her face drops. Here he is all handsome and gorgeous, just waiting for a few minutes more to become engaged to another woman. Her face reveals her true feelings, just in that moment he opened the door and she looked into his eyes. "What the?" he says as he opens the door to see her smiling face, but is she smiling? She is holding a gift for him.
Lavanya has opened the gift Kushi has given her, beautiful earrings. Kushi tells her they are not made of gold and La answers her no, they are more valuable than that. She says she will always value them wherever she is. Kushi says to her that she is peaking like she is going far away from her. Little does Kushi know, she is. She says you are here in your in laws house. La just smiles. She asks her why she didn't wear her engagement dress and La tells her what she is wearing is just fine. Kushi asks her if she is okay? This would have been a perfect time for La to confide in Kushi but alas she doesn't. Anjali calls for Kushi and she takes Payal and is about to go down when she turns took at La. They leave and La is in tears. Arnav comes and she says to him she is fine.

Arnav's heart lurched painfully for Khushi. A sharp dart of pain ran through his heart.
That explains everything yet he is in dilemma
"mein aisi hi ho Khushi, mein koi chees jaan bujhkar nahi karta Khushi. But I regret later.I do (I'm like that Khushi, I don't do anything deliberately,)"
His contrition, what was buried inside his heart now came out involuntarily to Lavanya. Arnav again expressed his inner feelings to La, what he meant for Khushi. Like the way he said sorry to her after humiliated her or completed the hug with La what he couldn't give it to Khushi. Why he is in so much convulsion? Just because she was pensive and distraught or he could feel her inner turmoil. I think both. Only a soulmate can feel so strongly for each other. I want to use the term mehsoos in this scenario.. His mehsoos for her is compelling him to think about her, to get worry for her and unknowingly made him apologize to her, though the person was wrong in the spur of the moment.👏👏👏
Well said sohara...he is a complicated man yet is full of love and care for those who he loves from the bottom of his heart and Anjali and Khushi are those people yet Khushi is one step a head ,he doesn't realize it until he pulls the breaks of his SUV to reach to that moment and on ward from that he will be besides her and will do whatever it will take to keep her with him
Bua is cursing Khushi for being late. Accusing her to be irresponsible. To pacify her,Payal again tries her number. The door opens in the Gupta house.Who came? Is it Khushi or somebody else.
PAUSE: I'm just flummoxed to see bua's insensibility. How cum she can curse the girl who is trying so hard to fulfill the needs of their family.

Khushi went to mandir to find the solution of the problem. Her mind is still tempestuous. She is seeking help to DM to guide her, what she can do, tell Anjali about Shyam or not. She ignores her phone call and decides that she must tell it to her. At the same time, she thinks if she tells her she will be shattered and her marriage can be at stake. Or moreover what will be the consequence of Akash and Payal's fate!.She is whirling in the labyrinth of the situation. Her phone rings again. But she ignores it. She again beseeches to DM to help her. The incessant phone rings makes her to answer the call now.
"don't you ever, ever do this to me again, do you know how many times I tried to call you? Why didn't you receive the phone? How worried I was"
His possessiveness is very evident in his imperative tone. It proves again that he thinks he owns Khushi. When he hears no answer from the other side, he mellows down his tone,
"Khushi, talk to me, where are you? are you alright?"
I just loved the way Barun modulated his voice from anger, to concern. It was amusing, how he pronounced the word Khushi with so much care and love. She replies,
"I'm absolutely fine. I'm in the mandir, you don't have to be worry."
He snatches her words, tries to cover his wariness. No way he can show her his caring, he has to maintain the faade of brutality.
"I'm not worried, I mean, so much work is pending, how can you leave?"
She says sternly, "I had to go, see I'll talk to you later." She cuts the call.
This is the moment where his inner turmoil is out of control and he can't think anything else but Khushi as he is angry but at himself because he wants her to be OK,fine,he wants her Khushi back in her.he can't live seeing his goofy Khushi full of life ,smiling,chirpy,goof around with her way of gussa with him..which he adores and that's why he accepts it later"tumhare saat bitae huwe moment yaad rhne lag gaye"...It's making him forget his brutal past...
Arnav frowns in embroilment. Kash he could say what is in his mind. La eavesdrops his conversation with Khushi. She gets incredulous.
A forlorn Khushi hobbles slowly immersed in thought. When she entered the courtyard of their house, Bua I guess saw her coming. She calls her,
"Khushi bitiya come fast inside."
When she comes inside the house, she feels the tension. Shyam brings her dad in their living room. So the atrocious man is already here, to defend himself. His audacity just surprised me. After doing so much mayhem, how dare he came to the house! Babuji is agitating. Payal moves to him and snatches the wheelchair from him. Shyam is looking at everybody ruefully, all are fake though. Bua is fuming in fury. Shyam starts to speak, 😊
"buaji, now Khushiji also came."
Shyam's words just added fuel in fire,
"Buaji? how dare you call me that. Not only calling me buaji, but you lost all your right from this house. How much respect and love I had for you, you lost it all."
Shyam turns to Khushi, tries to speak. Khushi knows what does he wants to say,
"So you told the truth. What do you think, after knowing the truth Buaji will forgive you? After knowing such a big revelation, how can we forgive you?" Bua aggravates more, "forgiveness, If I could I would kill you."
Bua in contrition, "Oh God, how my eyes couldn't see the reality! How could I keep him in our house? Sashi relied on me so much!"
She gets more exasperated, she moves towards him and lacerates him,
"you hypocrite, being a married person, how cum you did engagement with our daughter? You will be cursed."
Khushi retorts, "Why to talk about the relationship what does not exist any more?"
Shyam tries to equivocate that he did wrong, but he wants to tell the full story. Khushi stops him and refuses to listen to him any more and tells him tersely that she will tell Anjali everything tomorrow. Babuji is convulsing, if he could he would beat him black and blue. Shyam is fuming inwardly, flaring his nose in anger,😡😡😡 but tries to control himself and admits that what Khushi is saying is true. He again tries to beguile them. He says, they should think before revealing the truth. He hits the nail at the right point. He brings Akash and Payla's marriage here. he pretends to be the well wisher of the family and says that Because of him, he doesn't want any more harm to happen . He once again tries to enmesh them by his beguile. He wants to assure them that Payal's marriage should not break this time. He indirectly admonishes them not to reveal the secret to the Raizada family.😡😡 The Gupta family get amibiguous in premonition.. Shyam begs them an apology ardently. when he bade namastey to babuji, he gave him an atrocious look. Before leaving the house he smiles roguishly, what gave me a slithery feelings.😈😡😡
Bua sits down in the chair, frustrated, she is cursing their fate. Amma perturbs thinking about Payal's fate."What will happen to you Payal bitiya, I can't do this"
Gosh what kind of people they are! How cum they become so insouciant to Khushi. They don't have any sympathy for the girl who just got a tremendous deception! They played games with her life, coerced her to an engagement against her will. I still remember how she cursed her, emotionally black mailed her to agree for the marriage. Now because them when she is distraught, they are thinking about Payal's marriage!. Why this discrimination?. I can't keep my tears for Khushi. No wonder why she is so strong. The incessant indifference of their family made this orphan girl strong and patient.
sohara you are lucky one trust me ,back there we still have this and very common for ppl who have more than one daughter...it's very much going on and that is the ill practice I can't tolerate
Khushi comes to amma to make her understand that it won't be right to keep Anjali in dark. "To get jiji married, shall we break the trust of the family?"
When she can't make her understand she turns to bua, asks her is she doing any wrong? Amma is obdurate, she is not ready to listen to anything. She can't let anything happens to Payal. She scares after telling them the truth, if the relationship breaks! Payal snatches her words and says in volition that let it break then. She tries to make her understand, that Khushi is right, a relationship can never built in the base of lie. It's better that it should break. She turns to babuji and asks him that they can't deceive the Raizada family like that. Babuji also beckons yes. Payal asks bua too, is she wrong? Bua comes to her affirms her that she is not wrong. When sbua sees Khushi's depressed state she comes near her and tells her that she is also not wrong. She tells her to go tomorrow and tell Anjali everything clearly. She adds that there is nothing important than truth and virtue. She assures her that they all are with her.. Babuji also nods his head. Only babuji loves Khushi like his own daughter in the family. But poor girl, also deprived from his love because of that devil.
I love Guptas in this sense they are not afraid of showing who they really are and are capable of...very strong roots of honesty and truth with plenty of TRUST in destiny and GOD
Payal brings water for Khushi. When she was leaving Khushi holds her hand and apologizes to her, she thinks, because of her , her marriage is in jeopardy again. With teary eyes she wants to know, how can she keeps this secret from Anjali,
"I never could think that my life would take this turn."
Payal takes her sister in a warm embrace, 'Stop it Khushi, it's not your fault." She wipes her tears. Khushi believes that Akash is a very nice guy and when he will know, he will not back off. Payal doesn't care if anybody back off or not, if it makes any difference or not, the truth should prevail. She tells Khushi that she must go to tell Anjali the truth.
Love Payal here ,brave girl and yes shattered internally but still standing with Truth
Arnav is immersed in Khushi's thought. Khushi's woebegone state, her breaking down on his shoulder, everything is reverberating in his mind. When Aman called him, he just couldn't get him. He tells him to repeat. La comes to his room. She listens that ASR is saying Aman to schedule the meeting on 16th. . When he finishes the call la comes asks him why he scheduled the meeting on 16th? it's the day of their engagement. La is really upset, she accuses him, it's him, who wanted to to do the engagement in haste and now he is forgetting the date? Did he really forget or it doesn't matter to him at all. Arnav apologizes her ruefully. He says he handles so many things at a time, that sometimes he forgets.
"I know knowingly or unknowingly I hurt you several times. But it's because,I don't understand, But when I realize I regret a lot. I really do. I feel very bad for that."
La moves towards him, touched by his words of compunction. Arnav resumes, "I never do it intentionally Khushi, cause I'm just."
He hesitates and starts again, "I'm like that."
La keeps her hand on his shoulder, "ASR it's Lavanya"

Kushi is in her room asking DM to bless her and her decision to remain quiet and that all should run smoothly. She asks for blessing for Akash and Payal and they be happy together. Buaji calls her. She comes back to DM and says she forgot to ask blessings for Arnav and Lavanya although there is sadness when she says those words.
ASR enters Lavanya's room. She is packed, the closet empty, ready to leave. He asks her if she is leaving.

He thanks her and she curtly says no thanking her but thank his wife for it is she who trusts you! She tells him she didn't keep quiet because of fear but for Anjali. This would have been a perfect time for La to confide in Kushi but alas she doesn't. Anjali calls for Kushi and she takes Payal and is about to go down when she turns took at La.
