3 days later

Arnav was waiting in the hall for Khushi. She was going to sworn in as CEO of Sinha Industries today.. He had to catch the flight to London late night before which he had to finish all his office works. Last three days he had been spending some time with Khushi on making her understand on the company profile the need for implementation of new policies in the organization, setting up of new departments and a revamp of the entire structure to increase productivity. Khushi was a very quick learner though she used to throw tantrums on him, she loved the way he was helping her through out.. Arnav smiled at the incident that happened three days back when she tried to punish him for not listening to her.. She was crazy brat but he had his own way of counter punishment for her punishment.

Arnav looked at the watch and it was already time still there was no trace of Khushi getting down. The final call he tried to call her name when he saw his beautiful wife dressed in formal white shirt and pant with a coat on top completely adjusting herself to the professional look.. He felt proud of her.. She was easily adjustable to any kind of attire.. She is traditional, conservative, modern coping up the circumstances.. She got down with her files and handbag. Arnav devoured her entire form in one look.. She didn't skip wearing the mangalsutra and putting sindoor on her forehead.. He liked his cute wife who was standing with nervousness clouding her face.. He wrapped his arms around her neck placing his forehead on hers..

Arnav : You are not out of your nervousness still ?

Khushi : I don't know whether Im nervous or not too.. What to do now ?

Arnav : Shall I remove the nervousness?

Khushi : Arnav. How can u remove that ?

Arnav : I can remove it but you have to apply your red lip gloss which is again time consuming.. So I shall adhere to a more simple process.

Saying he hugged his pouting wife who immediately refreshed her mood. She was happy to get such warmth from him when she was in need of it.. After praying to God and infront of her father and his parents' picture Khushi left the house with Arnav in his car.

Sinha Industries...

The board meeting had started.. Sashi as one of the board members introduced Khushi to all the other board members.. She felt elated at the response of all. She was sitting with her mother and uncle while Arnav had occupied his place a bit far from her. Shyam & Anjali were present too. Shyam was fuming when Khushi came with Arnav holding his hand all the attention of the members turned towards the young tycoon. They knew the new CEO was not only Madhumathi's daughter but his wife too.. Arnav acknowledged the respect he received from all the members and proceeded to sit even after the insistence of Madhumati and Sashi to occupy beside their seats.. He smirked at Shyam who was not even given attention by any of the members. Waiting for his cute wife to take up the post and motivating her with his presence was his only concern today..

After taking over the post Khushi gave an excellent speech thanking everyone for welcoming her. She assured her wholehearted cooperation and hardwork for the organization. She talked about some important guidelines which she has in mind. She had her own ways of implementing the new guidelines taking on account of the increased revenue and regain name in the market. After her speech the audience applauded but her eyes soon moved to her husband who was smiling at her with head held high proud of his wife.Her questions on her performance could only answered by those hazel eyes which did reply in affirmative. She was confident enough of her speech only after his assurance.

Mr.Mehra who was her dad's close friend as a part of a one of the director's congratulated Khushi. He took up the chance to praise her for her enthusiasm a fresh interest on the business soon after passing out from a Business Management school.

Mr.Mehra : Im very happy that freshers like you are getting ample opportunities to develop your academic skills with experience.. Even I won't be surprised if you would seek your husband's support in your career development which is quite useful for this organization as well.

Arnav looked at a fuming Khushi who was trying to control her anger. True that he didn't like the words of Mr.Mehra which was demeaning her talents as if she was entirely dependent on him for her growth but he prayed that Khushi's reply shouldn't affect her first day in her career looking at her reddish ears which was filled with fury. He was slowly finding her to be imbibing his anger while he has taken up the calmness from her.. A reverse phenomena indeed.

Khushi : Mr. Mehra.. I dont like to involve my personal life into my professional life. You can very well trust my talents and skill. I would never take advantage of my husband Arnav Singh Raizada's name to showcase my talents.. I have my own individuality and I will prove that in course of time in this business.But I cant deny that my husband is the strong pillar for my motivation.

Mehra : Wow.. that's really nice.. I do believe your talents.. After all Sinha's daughter Raizada's wife you ought to have the inborn talent of business in you. All the best Mrs. Raizada..

Arnav was proud to hear the statement.. He clapped for her while she looked at him smiling.. He closed his eyes in agreement.. She was truly emerging as a shrewd business entrepreneur as he wished. All this were cunningly watched by a pair of eyes which really hated to it, Shyam Singh Raizada.

The meeting was finally done. All of them dispersed to their seats while the family stayed back at the room.

Sashi : Khushi bitiya Im really proud of you.. You have really become bold and courageous.

Madhumati : All because of our damaadji.. Thanks to you..

Arnav : No aunty.. She is capable, its just a motivation needed Im sure I would be known as Khushi Raizada's husband soon..

Khushi blushed and looked at Arnav who was praising her infront of her family.. She knew he never lets her down infront of anyone..

Sashi : Arnav babua.. when is your flight?

Arnav: Midnight uncle. Now I have lots to finish at office.. I will make a move.. I will be coming home to drop Khushi.

Sashi : So I expect you for the dinner.. ok?

Arnav : Fine.. See you then..

Arnav winked at Khushi to make a move which she reciprocated with a nod. She would be spending her rest of the day in office with Sashi uncle who would be guiding her in the work.

Arnav's house

Arnav came early to spend some time with Khushi who was back from her office after her first day.. She was explaining him what she had to experience the whole day and her views on how she would be able to cope up with the issues.. Arnav couldn't help but admire her cuteness while she was explaining him simultaneously packing their bags. Every monthly trip he makes sure she was comfortable with his absence. Initially when they were just getting to cope up with they found it easier during these trips to ponder upon their relationship. It was always Khushi who took the initiative in calling him showing concern while he was away.. It slowly moved to a unbreakable friendship that these two posessed. Gradually they had to accept their compatibility proceeding for the next level in relationship. They did give some time to make them comfortable. When Arnav took her to London he introduced his own world to her thereby making her aware of the real Arnav as a whole. It took some days for Arnav to learn about Khushi.. He was always at the backbench when it comes to understand her likes and dislikes but that too passed by. Each and every trip proved to be more difficult as it progressed. This time around Arnav felt bad for leaving her as she was into her career growth.

Arnav didn't leave a chance to romance his wife even in the limited time he had in his house. Though he was accustomed to Khushi's gloomy face during every trip he was the one cheering her up this time.. He convinced her that she should be giving him ample time after he is back from London.. After the reconcilation of the couple they left for Gupta house.

Arnav and Khushi were welcomed by Sashi and Garima with Madhumati. Khushi entered the house shocked to find Lavanya standing infront of her.. She hurriedly ran to hug her little sister like they have been met for ages.

Khushi : La.. how come you are here now ?

Lavanya : Surprise Baby.. I thought I could give you company for a night since you would miss jeeju..

Arnav and the rest of family laughed at Khushi who was catching her ear for embarassing infront of the family..

Lavanya : Hi jeeju.. How are you ? Hope you are happy to get freed from your wife for two weeks.

Arnav : Yea.. True.. Freedom for just two weeks only.

Khushi showed a fake anger for this saali jeeju teasing her . They moved to have the dinner.

Across the table she found Arnav and Khushi talking happily to the family.Arnav who was an introvert in the eyes of the family slowly starting to open up with Khushi's insistence.Lavanya could find a ease in the couple which she had with NK during her dating days. She couldn't but admire the way Arnav was helping her in office work.The compatibility of the couple had increased within no time whereas in her case it was on a decline.. She was thinking about her life while having the dinner. Arnav caught her attention.

Arnav : Lavanya.. how is your work ?

Lavanya : Fine Jeeju.. Its like Im doing modelling side by side which makes it hectic.

Khushi : La, Modelling ? Didn't you stop it long back ?

Lavanya : Khushi.. Im just doing it part time.. That too I make sure I wear ethnic dresses.Its in my contract Khushi if needed I had to ramp walk too. Its not like I work for Jeeju and he gives me a good opportunity in his designer section..

Arnav : Why not Lavanya ? My office is always open for my sister in law.. You can join the office tomorrow itself. I can ask my manager to arrange for it tomorrow morning.

Lavanya : Jeeju.. wait.. its ok.. I was just kidding I know I have that privilege.I will surely bother you when Im really in need of job..

Arnav : Are you sure?

Lavanya : Yes.. 100%. Saali promise.

All of them had a good laugh. Arnav got blessings from the elders. Khushi dropped him till car who didnt fail to kiss her to compensate for his 2 weeks absence.

Khsuhi's room

Khushi: Thats was a real surprise to see you here.. You know since afternoon I was planning to call you guys home..

Lavanya: Dont know about the rest, but I needed some change for sure.. So what big change it would be other than meeting my family and spending time with my lovely sister?? What are you doing?

Khushi: I was unpacking my Bag

Lavanya: Ohh !! Let me help you in that, if you dont mind..

Khushi: Why would I La.. Come..!!

Saying that Khushi and Lavanya walked to Khushi's bedroom and there Lavanya sat on the bed folding Khushi's clothes..

Lavanya: Wow Khushi.. Nice dresses.. I mean I never knew you wear western clothes still.?

Khushi: Ohh That.. (She blushed thinking the last time she wore that Red Satin Frock before Arnav).. Well it was only before Arnav though... But those Shorts, Pyjamas and stuffs ofcourse I wear it out when I am with him..

Lavanya: Lucky Girl.. Wish everyone could get a husband like Jeeju.

Khushi was surely proud to hear this but seeing Lavanya's gloomy face she couldnt stop herself from asking..

Khushi: Why?? Your NK is far better than him.. He is allowing you to continue Modelling even after marriage.. If It would have been Arnav, he would have made me resign long back.. (She gigled )

Lavanya: He wouldnt.. I mean someone who can allow his wife so much freedom wouldnt snatch such small desires of her..

Khushi: Lavanya.. It happens in every marriage.. You know initially when we were together, I even feared he would shout at me for wearing such dresses before him.. Our relation developed slowly when we started sharing our lives , our joys and sorrows..

KHushi was lost in those days when Once she was trying a Red Strapless Frock in his absence at home..

FLASHBACK STARTS

This was the third Dress Khsuhi was trying on herself since an hour.. She had so many western outfits which were just lying in her closet doing nothing.. She didnt get the courage to wear any of them either before him or in his absence but today she thought she will let these dresses get some air.. She removed them all and placed them on her bed and kept trying them before the mirror.. She couldnt believe herself.. She really had a nice figure and all such outfits suited her ..

It was afternoon 03:30 and Arnav was at work.. According to Khushi she still had 3 more hours for Arnav to be back home.. But then her fate had some other plans for her.. Arnav Singh Raizada entered inside the House when the Maid opened the door for her.. He asked where his wife was.. And as guided he walked to his room .. He was in a bad mood.. His important meeting was been postponed because his Client missed his flight.. He waited for months to have this meet and progress on his work but then Damm!! He loosened his tie and then pushed the Bedroom door open not even caring if his wife must be sleeping at this hour.. She had a habit of sleeping in the afternoon sometimes.. But the moment he pushed the door open he froze at the spot.. His beautiful wife was wearing a Red Off Shoulder Frock and admiring herself in the mirror.. The frock was till her Knees and he never knew his wife did look so gorgeous in such outfits.. She saw him from the mirror and turned back to see him .. She too was surprised.. For seconds she didnt realise what she wore.. She walked to him and did take the lappy bag from him normally ..

Khushi: You are early today.. (She was moving aside to place the bag on recliner when he held her hand stopping her)

Arnav was checking her from top to bottom..

Thats when she realised and she tried to cover her front from one hand as the other was still holding the Laptop bag..

Khushi(Nervously): Uhh!! I was just checking .. I mean these are my Old dresses.. I never wore them after marriage..So.. I thought..

Arnav tried to play with her feelings for sometime.. She could be the only one who could vanish her anger with in minutes.. Being friendly she was getting bold sometimes.. She tried to tease her.

Arnav : Whats this ? Take them off..

Khushi: What?? Take them off? Why?

Arnav: Because I cant see my wife exposing so much..

Khushi : But who said I will wear this before others?? If I cant wear it before my husband then who the hell is supposed to praise me in such outfits?? (She instantly replied not even thinking what affect it will have on her husband)

Arnav did smirk and left her hand .. She became more conscious now..

Khushi: I mean.. I know.. I wont wear it out.. Its just that I thought I will check them when I am home..!!

Arnav gulped down his desires seeing her like this.. She took a turn to leave and then started taking the dresses off the bed to keep them back in the closet.. Thats when Arnav stopped her .. She was little scared thinking what made him stop her like that? She closed her eyes in fear and he made her turn to face him..

Arnav: Khushi.. I didnt mean to hurt you.. If you wish to wear such outfits you can I would never come in between your wishes. I was just testing you. I know you are aware of your limits infront of the elders.I don't have any qualms in your dressing when we both are alone.

Khushi opened her eyes and looked at him..

Khushi: You mean I can really wear the good ones out??

Arnav noded in agreement and she just jumped once excitedly..

Khsuhi: Thanks Arnav.. I am so happy.. Trust me.. I would never wear something against our family traditions being a daughter in law I will maintain our family's dignity infront of everyone..

Arnav smiled and then realising her was really falling at the present for his wife's beauty and it shouldnt be that he does something which she doesnt like.. She was still lost in his words and excited that her husband had started being friendly with her, trusting her and that was more than important at the present..

He left for the washroom giving her enough time to get off that Red frock and wear normal clothes.. Khushi really felt on Cloud 9 that day for seeing a change in their relationship..

FLASHBACK ENDS..

Lavanya shook Khushi and she was back to her sense..

Lavanya: Somebody is blushing.. Any special memories??

Khushi: Many.. But then forget all that.. you tell me what is making you bother so much?? Did NK and you fight??

Lavanya: Forget it Khushi.. He is always like that.. He has problem with everything I do.. Everything I wear.. I hope one fine day he realises I too need some space yaar..!!

Khushi could see what the problem was.. It should be obviously related to her job which might have created tensions between the couple but she was confused as NK had himself agreed her job after marriage. She knew Lavanya would never bend down to anyone's decisions sticking on to her beliefs.She thought advising La on this wont be good anymore as she wasnt in a mood to even talk about it. So may be NK was a better option and that too through Arnav..

Akash was very upset since the time he had come to know what the report contained and that his wife whom he trusted so much hide such an important fact from him..He was leaning his back at the Door of his Balcony thinking how he needed to handle things now.. What would he tell his family?? How will they react?? Specially his mother.. She was waiting to hear the Good news from him from such a long time.. After She came to know Anjali was pregnant, she also wished Payal also gives this news early.. But may be Fate didnt wish the same to happen.. Infact never to happen..

A tear rolled down his cheek and he wiped it before anyone notices it .. He was standing inside his dark room and Payal who was searching him from long time finally checked her own room and saw the room dark.. She turned the lights On and there she saw her husband wiping that lone tear from his cheeks. She really felt bad.. She closed the door and saw him turning towards the other side.. She rushed to him and hugged him from behind..

Payal: Forgive me Akash.. Please forgive me.. I would never hide anything from you ever.. I promise.. Please forgive me for once..

Akash was very much upset at the present.. He didnt wish to give up into his wife's pleads.. She had really hurted him this time.. He moved her hands from his waist and then tried to leave when Payal literally bent at his feet holding it..

Payal: Akash just one chance.. (She was bitterly crying and Akash couldnt take this anymore..)

He instantly leaned and made her get up .. He took Payal towards the Couch and made her sit there.. He kneeled down before her holding her hand..

Akash: Dont cry Payal.. And never bent at my feet like this for forgiveness.. I love you Payal.. You are my Wife.. Yes I am hurt that you hide such an important fact from me .. But I know how much fear you had inside yourself to tell me this.. I can understand that.. I still dont feel like believing this that We cannot be Parents anytime..

Payal looked in his eyes which told her how much emotional he was at the present..

Payal: Why Akash? WHy did God gave such a brutal pain to us? Why??

He hugged her tight to calm her down .. He himself didnt know how to handle this fact now.. He had no grudge on his wife.. This was not what even she did herself.. But then somehow he had to get this truth out to his family somehow and he knew how shocking it would be for them too..

One week later.

Khushi was working hard everyday to catch up with the issues which were the reasons for the loss for the earlier years.. Arnav had made sure to call her every day without fail even though he had been busy with his work.Lavanya had left back for Raizada Mansion and Khushi was talking on the Phone to Arnav..

Arnav: Dont worry.. Whatever the matter is, I think they can sort it out..

Khushi: But Arnav they are our sibblings.. We should help them..

Arnav: They are a couple Khushi.. Why interfere??

Khushi (Frowning): Fine.. If you cant... Let me then..

Arnav: Never,.!! It wont look nice if you talk to NK.. Let me do that.. happy??

Khushi (Smiling): Very happy..!! And yeah.. I remembered something ..

Arnav: (Signing some papers ): What ???

Khushi: I cleaned my CLoset.. So some old dresses are still lying untouched..Planning to wear and check.. (She blushed hinting him what she meant and he couldnt sign anything after that..)

Arnav: One more week Khushi.. And I am there.!!

Khushi: So I have to wait for one whole weak to wear all those?? Huhh!! Okay... Dont make me wait for long.. Bye..

She cut the call biting her own lip in excitement..
