Part 5:
They were done eating. She was so engrossed in Rehaan's jokes that she didn't even realize that she had finished a large pizza all by herself. Although she didn't laugh as hard as she used to, she was entertained. And she couldn't thank him enough for distracting her. But just then he said the last and the funniest joke he had – this did it. She laughed so hard that she started crying again. He hugged her and rubbed her back, he knew how she felt – he hadn't been cheated on but he knew pain. During his rough patch, he often spent time listening to a song, which fit Zoya's situation perfectly. He wasn't going to introduce this song to her because it would make her cry more, but at the back of his head it played…

Once she stopped crying and moved on to sobbing, he asked her to tell him everything.
"I can't, it's too much"
"Zoya, you have to get it out of your system. Please"
"Where do I start?"
"From the day you met her"
"She was his best friend from childhood. Ever since entered, she had his attention" Zoya went on through all the incidents that had taken place. From the peanut allergy to the acidic mehendi and then she remembered.
"Allah, he's such a jerk Zoya. Why were you even marrying him?"
"ALLAH MIYAAN! How could I forget?" her eyes widened
"What?"
"She had told me that she doesn't care about the marriage, but she would be the one spending the night with him!"
"WHAT? Why would she say that? And what did you say to her?"
"I don't know why she said that. But I told her I trust Mr.Khan and that he would never do that! …He broke my trust Rehaan" she started crying again.
"Zoya, after hearing all that you have told me about this girl… I am sure she did something to get into his pants. Could you please tell me your equation with that guy?" He already hated Asad, but didn't want to judge him until he heard how he treated Zoya.
Zoya cherished all the memories of her and Asad and yet they brought back so much pain. When she started telling him their story, her eyes lit up like a little girl who just found all the happiness in the world.
He listened to her calmly and his opinion of Asad changed from being a jerk to being nave. He had no sense of the world; he was judgemental but not a good judge of character. He saw black and white and failed to acknowledge that this world was filled with shades of grey. His behaviour was due to insecurities and fears that he had… but his heart was clean. He was as good-hearted as Zoya. Although he had not met him, he figured that Tanveer must have trapped him.
"Zoya, have you told anyone about the challenge Tanveer put forth?"
"No, it's not worth it! I trusted that man. He broke my trust, and my heart"
"Did you hear his explanation?"
"Allah Miyaan what's wrong with you? After seeing him there, you think I should listen to him?"
Since he wasn't directly involved in their whole story – he had a very objective view. And although it wasn't confirmed, he was quite certain that there has been a misunderstanding. Its clear Asad loves Zoya, it's clear that he trusts his friend a lot too, and it's clear that his friend has evil intentions.
They talked about it further and that's how their whole day passed.

It was late at night in New York and day in Bhopal. Dilshaad had been waiting to call Zeenat like she normally did. But yesterday Dilshaad had not called at all due to the mess at her place. And now that things had settled, she would tell Zeenat about Asad's innocence.
*tring tring*
"Hello"
"Zeenat, I have some very important news" Zeenat sensing the urgency in Dilshaad's voice got worried.
"Yes Dilshaad bi tell me" her curiosity made its way through her voice.
"Asad is innocent! Tanveer framed him. She was pregnant and needed a father for the baby so she made it seem like they both slept with each other and Asad has always maintained that he doesn't remember anything about that night…
"She also confessed that she had drugged him etc. We've handed her over to the cops now. But now that this mess is clarified I think we need to spill the beans to both Asad and Zoya. Then it's up to them and what they want. As far as I'm concerned Asad is innocent and I want my daughter-in-law back. Asad has fainted because of all this stress, guilt etc. and it's not even his fault."
"Ya Allah, Dilshaad Bi… I don't know what to say! This is unbelievable, how could she? Please take care of Asad, and I will tell Zoya everything… don't worry about it"
"Thank you Zeenat. Khuda Hafiz"
"Allah Hafiz"
They cut the phone. Dilshaad went to see Asad and whether he had awakened yet or not. While, Zeenat headed to Zoya's room and bumped into Rehaan – he was heading home.
"Rehaan beta, I need to talk to you"
"Aapi, so do I" they both had the same thing to tell each other – except one was an assumption and the other had proofs.
"You go first Rehaan"
"I think Tanveer framed Asad" Zeenat was shocked how he had come to that conclusion
"I just got a phone call from Asad's ammi, and she just got proofs for it too. That's exactly what I wanted to tell you. She had framed him because she was pregnant"
"Now it makes sense as to why she was motivated to do so!"
"We have to tell Zoya"
"I think we should tell her now Aapi"
"Yea I thought so too!"
Superb...Lvd the daring and smart Dilshaad here...But one thing I wanted to have was that azad and zoya also give them their part of punishment to that wild cat for destroying alll their glorious and njoyable moments of their life...
