The next day
Suvreen received a text message from Yuvraj
'I am sorry...Please pick up the phone'
The phone rings...
Suvi: "What is it!?"
Yuvi: "I am sorry"
Suvi: "It's okay"
Yuvi: "How was the renovation?"
Suvi: "Done...I am 100% sure that you going to like it"
Yuvi: "It better be good"
Suvi: "You are coming back tomorrow right?"
Yuvi: "Actually...the reason I called is to inform you that I will be coming back late...maybe 2 or 3 days more..."
Suvi: "why? What happen?"
Yuvi: "Last meeting was postponed"
Suvi: "Okay"
Yuvi: "Are you okay?"
Suvi: "I am fine...no need to worry"
Yuvi: "Glad to hear that...okay...I'll hang up now...take care of yourself"
Suvi: "I will...you too take care and eat well"
Yuvi: "by the way...hmmm"
Suvi: "what!?"
Yuvi: "I did miss you...bye" Yuvi hung up the phone before Suvi could reply. Suvi smiled listening to Yuvi's words
Knock knock
Suvi: "come in"
Jaspreet: "Suvreen"
Suvi: "Yes mom"
Jaspreet: "I'm going to accompany my sister to the airport"
Suvi: "Airport?Who's coming mom?"
Jaspreet: "Samar, he's coming back after spending 3 years abroad"
Suvi: "I see"
Jaspreet: "Would you like to come along?"
Suvi: "No mom, I'll stay at home. Thank you for asking"
Jaspreet: "As you wish dear... I'm leaving now"
Suvi: "Bye mom"
AIRPORT
Ragini: "His plane should have landed by now, where is this boy!?"
Jaspreet: "Patience didi...his plane just landed. He's not running away from you"
Jaspreet was consoling her sister when both of them felt someone tapping their shoulder
"Hey sexy ladies" a voice calling them. Both of them turn around
Ragini: "Samar!!!"
Samar: "Hey...maa" Samar hugged his mom "Hello aunty" he hugged Jaspreet
Ragini: "You are still mischievous as usual"
Samar: "Well...that's Samar" he pointed to himself "Aunty...where is Yuvraj?"
Jaspreet: "Yuvraj is out of town son"
Samar: "My bad...when is he coming back?"
Jaspreet: "In a few days"
Ragini: "Okay...okay...we'll continue at home...we are not going to stay here forever, aren't we?"
Samar: "Okay maa...let's go home"
RAGHUVANSHI MANSION
Samar: "Home sweet home...after such a long time" Samar widen his arm
Samar gaze stops at the framed picture hanging on the wall; it's a picture of his late father
Samar: "I miss u dad...Maa...I missed him a lot"š
Ragini hugged his son to comfort him. "Samar...why don't u chat with aunty Jaspreet while I'll cook something for you to eat" Samar smiled
Jaspreet: "So Samar...how long are you going to stay this time"
Samar: "Forever..."He smiled
Jaspreet: "Really? I am happy to hear that"
Samar: "Aunty, how is Yuvraj?"
Jaspreet: "He's good...since he got married"
Samar: "I just remembered that he's married now"
Jaspreet: "but"
Samar: "Aunty?"
Jaspreet: "Nothing..I'll make my move now"
Samar: "Sure aunty"
Jaspreet: "Do visit us sometime"
Samar: "I will"
Samar spends his time by resting at home for the next two days...
Samar: "Maa...I'm going out for a drive...I'll be back soon"
Ragini: "Okay...just be careful son"
Samar drives himself to a park nearby. He walks around the park with a camera in his hand. Everything he found as interesting through his camera would be captured.
Suvreen P.O.V
Suvreen is watching television; the day seems to move slower than usual for Suvreen with nothing to do and no Yuvraj by her side.
"I'm bored" Suvreen sigh "I should go out...get some fresh air or else I'll go crazy staying at home with nothing to do"š
Samar P.O.V
After roaming around the park for a while Samar took a break sitting on the park bench.
A little girl was running happily when she tripped and fall. The little girl start crying and Samar who was watching walk towards the little girl offering his help.
Samar: "Hey pretty girl...don't cry" The little girl is still crying "If you stop crying and give me a big smile, I will buy you an ice cream"
Little girl: "Really"
Samar nod his head
Little girl: "Yaay!"
Samar: "That's more like it"
Samar holds the little girl hand and took her to an ice cream shop at the park.
Samar: "Big ice cream scoops for the pretty girl"
Seller: "sure sir"
Samar: "Here you go" Samar handing the ice cream to the little girl "Happy?"
The little gave Samar a peck on his cheek "Thank you"
Samar: "Most welcome" he smiled
Suvreen P.O.V
Suvreen was walking around the park when she saw the incident between Samar and the little girl. She was smiling all the time looking at those two.
Samar is waving his hand to the little girl when a guy riding a bicycle accidently hit Samar due to break failure.
Bicycle guy: "I am sorry sir...are you okay?"
Samar: "It's okay...I am fine"
Samar walked himself to the bench nearby and starts checking himself for any injuries...
"Your arm...it's bleeding" Suvreen said from behind
"What?"Samar looks at his arm "thanks" He turned to looks at Suvreen's face and he is lost at words when their eyes met.
Suvi: "Let me look at your arm"
Samar: "No its okay... thanks"
Suvi pulled his arm to have a closer look. She took a first aid box from her bag and bandaged Samar's arm. Samar widens his eyes in shocked looking at Suvreen.š²
Samar: "Do you always bring a first aid box in your bag wherever u goes?" Samar ask in disbelief
Suvi: "Yes"
Samar: "Do you treat strangers like this all the time?"
There is no response from Suvreen...
Samar: "What if I'm a bad guy? You should be careful to whom you are helping lady"
Suvi: "If you are a bad guy...instead of getting aid, you will be getting chappal by now"š
Suvi finished bandaging his arm "Done"
Samar takes a look at his arm "Than..." Samar stop when he saw Suvreen walking away
Samar: "Oye...Hello"
Suvi: "What is it?" Suvi replied without facing Samar
Samar: "Thank you"
Suvi: "Welcome"
Samar: "What is your name?"
Suvi: "BYE" Suvi replied waving her hand and walks away
Samar muttering "Weird girl" He look at her again "but a cute weirdo" He smiled...š
At the other end
Yuvi is sitting at his desk doing his job when his phone rings.
Yuvi: "Hello"
"Hello Yuvraj Singh Khuranna" a lady voice replied...
Yuvraj smiled listening to the voice...
"It's has been a long time SONIA MALIK"
End of Chapter 20! : First meeting of Samar and Suvreen...and Sonia is back in Yuvi's life...what would happen in future? Nobody knows!...till we meet again...adios! :)
