Chapter#10

Khushi's Dairy-

12:45 am

The whole function was now finally over. I felt like crying. Every time I looked at him I felt like running away but then I looked at my happy family and Payal. Oh, how happy they were! At least one of us was happy. The painful feeling inside me was unbearable and I couldn't deny that I had feelings for him now.

I don't understand why I fall for things I can never get. How do I get rid of this habit? Ugh… Now tomorrow morning the first thing I am going to do is find Lavanya's address and go to her house to ask why she is doing this to me.

I'm off to bed now. I hope everything goes well tomorrow and maybe I don't get married to him and also my life gets back to normal. They way it was before. *Sigh*

Khushi's Dairy-

6:30 pm evening.

I can't believe it. I can't believe she is doing this. To Arnav jee.

I went to the office, secretly, so that I would not be seen by Arnav jee. One of the employees greeted me and asked me if I am here to continue with my work. I was confused at his statement. The employee said that ASR had told them that I was on a leave for a few weeks or months maybe. I wasn't surprised. I mentally made a note in my mind that I have to resign from here. I can obviously find a new job after these six months and move on somewhere away from this country.

I asked the same employee if he can give me Lavanya's address. He opened up his computer and in a matter of minutes her address was in my hands. I quickly took the address and ran off to my car.

It didn't take me time to reach her house as her street was right in front of my favorite mall. I parked my car in front of her house. It was a cute little house, just like a doll house. The garden was filled with flowers just like Arnav jee's pool side. Maybe he used to come here often…to stay with her for a night maybe. This thought was heartbreaking. Pushing my thoughts away I concentrated on my mission. It was now our never.

I hesitantly walked up to her door and rang the bell. She came out, wearing her night pajamas. I had no idea why Arnav jee was in love with her. What I had seen in the office and what I had seen in the evening were two different physical appearances.

"What the hell are you doing here?" She said making a disgusted face.

"I have to talk to you." I said grabbing all the courage inside me. "Now." I continued, actually demanded.

"But I don't want to talk to you. So bye!" She said almost shutting the door.

"No, you have to tell me why are you doing this?" I said as I placed my hand in order to stop the door from closing.

"Oh Khushi! I thought you would have guessed." Lavanya said with almost an evil smirk on her face.

"Guessed what?" I said, grimacing.

"You're even brainless than I thought." She sighed. But I was too bothered about her other statement.

"Look, Its simple. I don't want to marry ASR. He is just an arrogant beast. I'm cheating on him anyway. And I know if you try to tell him, he wouldn't believe you. Trust me on that. So don't waste your time or even if you do I am least bothered about it." Lavanya said as if it was the most random thing on earth.

I was so dumbstruck. I seemed to be rooted to that spot. My mouth was left open.

"Close that mouth of yours sweet heart." Lavanya said shutting my mouth.

"You...you...can't do this." I stammered.

"I've already done it." She said shrugging her shoulders and winked.

"I'm going to tell him about it." I tried to terrorize her.

"Nk said the same thing but Good luck!" She said with a smile.

"See I've advised him to marry you. But he hates you." She said smirking. "And maybe he falls in love because I saw you as an opportunity to myself. Hope he just gets off my way. I know this plan doesn't make any sense but I can't waste my time thinking of something more appropriate." Lavanya said, looking at her nails.

"If you don't want to be with him then why don't you just break up?" I said angrily.

"Well, he's a rich guy..." She said but was cut off with her phone ringing.

"Oh look, ASR. I've got better stuff to do. Bye." She said and closed the door on my face.

Okay he hates me, I know. It did hurt. Nk? Who was Nk? What if he can help? I hope he is here for the wedding. And Arnav jee, I feel bad for him but how do I tell him.

In an hour we have to go to the Raizada Mansion for a little family dinner before the wedding tomorrow. I am going to talk to him,, no matter what.

Sorry for being late and I'll give another update by midnight. Having some guests over. And the readers of SS - Aahetain, it will be updated in an hour or two. (Not sure, but watch out for Pm's) Ps - Yes, Arnav will regret a lot. So don't you guys worry a bit. :D Oh, and THANKYOU so much for all the lovely comments. Means a lot. :')
