I LOVE TO READ THE OLD POSTS... I WAS READING DIRECTOR'S CUT & I FOUND THIS TAKE/POINTERS ON 24th SEPTEMBER'12 EPISODE & REALLY LOVED EACH & EVERY WORD IN IT. 'dramacrazy12' has really pointed out the situation so well. I couldnt quote that as the topic is closed now. I am just sharing whatever she posted.
WEDDING DAY:
1) The truth had to be out sooner or later, there was no way around it. This is the last metaphoric hurdle in Arshi's relationship and is huge. All thier learning from past connects/disconnects, thier faith, thier mutual trust, essence of thier love is going to be put to test. It is natural for Arnav to flounder initially-this is a big shock but I am sure he will come through eventually. If they manage to cross this hurdle, there can be nothing that will ever seperate them and they will be able to shed thier emotional insecurities and baggage forever.
While the timing for truth seems to be really bad, it is in fact the best time. If Arnav chooses to pursue Khushi now, it means he choose Khushi over his past and family. If the truth had come out after marraige then it would always seem that it was Arnav's commitment that made him hold on to Khushi rather than his choice.
2)Somehow this seemed like loop closure on kidnapping track. In kidnapping track, Khushi proved her love and Arnav showed his blind trust on Khushi. She went half crazy searching for Arnav proving her dedication and commitment to her marraige to the Raizadas. Shyam's misdeed were brought to light.
Current track needs Arnav to prove his love and Khushi to show trust in Arnav. It is his chance to show his dedication and commitment to his marraige to Guptas and Raizadas and hopefully bring Dadi's misdeeds to light. I am still not convinced that Dadi is innocent in all that went down in past. She seems to have a malicious streak in her. I am still having a hard time believing she is ready to wreck her grandson's life for revenge. She cannot have been blind to his love for his wife during the rasams.
3) Truthfully speaking Arnav is more insecure about losing Khushi than other way around. He has made her promise multiple times that she will never leave him behind. This must feel like all his nightmares came to life.
4)The most interesting thing to me was Dadi's timing of disclosing truth. She waited until the rest of the family was gone and Arnav was alone. She seemed to realize that if Arnav had time to digest the truth or have rest of the family around him, his reaction will not be to her desire. This makes me think that there might be more to what she is telling him about the past. Perchance she was aware that her son had lied to Garima or there is an another part of puzzle that lies with Nani.
