It was late evening and Door bell rang.A servant opened the door and Saw Khuranas at door.he welcomed them and said to sit. he went in and informed pammi about their arrival. Pammi quickly came and greeted them.
Pammi-Mr.Khurana,Priya ji aap log? Is every thing alright?
Priya-Nahin Pammiji nothing is alright. she was tensed.We are here to discuss something very important.Can you call Geet and Sameera pls.Un dono ka hona zaroori hai.
pammi was paniked.she was feared as something bad is going to be happened. Pammi asked a servant to call geet and Sam.
Ram-Maan tum jaao aur Geet ko bula kar laao.Pammiji If you don't mind maan ja sakta hai geet ko bulaane.Poor Pammi how she could say no.she nodded in yes.Maan went to her room.He was feeling like a teen ager and was exicted to give her a surprise with his sudden visit.he knocked at the door but didn't get the response.He peeped in the room and was mesmarised to see the view.Geet was sleeping in the chair near study table.She was holding the Teddy bear in her arms.It was like she was hugging it close to her heart.Maan felt jealous of that Teddy.He smiled and said to that Teddy -Lucky you
Then he touched her cheeks and He was surprised as Geet smiled and moaned slowly-maan
Maan stepped back with shock-Is she awake. Kya sochegi ki main kya kar raha hoon.
He waited for few seconds and found that she was sleeping.He thought-Even in her sleep she knows that it's me.but will never accept when is awake.Meri neend chura kar kitne maze me so rahi hai.He wanted to kiss her but controlled and brought his mouth near her ears and shouted-Geeettt.
Geet in her sleep was shocked and stood without opening her eyes -kaun hai
she was so full of shock that she even moved with her closed as if there was some thief and was about to fall and maan held her tightly.she left her body loose in his arms due to tired sleep and kept her head on his shoulder as she was still in her slumber.After few seconds she got her senses and straigtenned her self and was about to Shout-Chor. but maan kept his hand on her mouth and said-Geet,Chup. It's me, Maan
Geet-Tum mere kamre me kya kar rahe ho?
Maan-Maa and papa are here and they want to talk about dadi. and are calling you. chalo.
Geet-was now in full sense,said-Tum chalo main aati hoon.
maan-hmmm and left.
Geet-Geet tu sach much pagal hai.chillane se pahle dekh to leti
maan came to the hall and said- Geet is coming.
Ram saw him with his raised brows-Itni der kaise lagi.and saw him with a teasing look.
Maan-Actually she was sleeping very deep.
After some time geet came and wished them-Namastey aynty .how are you
Priya-I m fine Geet.tum kaisi ho. aao and signaled her to sit beside her. Geet went and set with her. pammi ji actually we are here to discuss very serious. maa ke check-up ke baad dr told us that she is still not recovered from her illness.and he advised us to tell her about Sam only if she likes her over geet and I m sorry she dislikes Sam. now the problem is how will we manage this.
Pammi-What? she doesn't like Sam.
Sam-Geet jab unke saath rah kar aayi hai to it's obvious that she will not like me.
Geet was like-What I did?
Priya-Isme Geet ki kya galati hai.
Pammi-Sam pls keep quite. Priyaji what Do you think we should do?
Ram-first option I thought to cancle this wedding.Hearing this Pammi and Sam were shocked.But Maan is not ready for this.Usko to sirf Sam se hi shadi karni hai.main nahin chahta ki maa aur bete me se kisi ek ko dukh ho so we are here to discuss with you.
Sameera-Uncle I think It's good that she does not like me.Actually I too wanted to talk to you.uncle actually I can't marry till my contract is over.I will be going to attend the beauty contest to represent India at international level.It will take another 9 to 10 months.I think this time is enough to change her opinion about me
Suddenly Geet laughed hearing Sameera.All saw her with confusion
Geet-Sorry
Sam-nahin sorry kyun .tell us what funny thing I said that you are laughing.
Now maan was smiling too to see an an irritated Sam.
Geet-no It's not like this.main to bas yun hi hans padi thi.
Ram-I know you were not laughing without any reason.tell us if you have some thing in your mind.
Geet-Uncle it's not the matter of time.It's the matter of dadi who doesn't like Sameera .9-10 months baad bhi situation will be same.Dadi will not change her opinion about her.I know dadi will be fully fit till that time.Even then if she dislikes her.You will have to tell her the truth some day.Ek na ek din aapko batana hi padega that Sam is your would be DIL not me.If she say so no even than what will you do?
Sam-Tum to yahi chahti ho ki mujhe koi pasand na kare.tumhen to khushi hi milegi.
Priya-Nahin Sam I think Geet is right.
Actually priya too didn't like the way sam talked with Geet
Maan was watching Sam if looke could kill he would burn her with his eyes.
Ram-Geet say clearly what you want to say.
Geet-I think Sam must spend some time with dadi to win her heart.
Sam-but she doesn't like me
Geet-One day you will have to live with her.Ab Maan to ghar jamaai banne se raha.(toMaan) Or you are ready Maan to live in this house after your marriage.or you can marry Sam against your dadi's wish. and she muffled her laughter.
maan-Geet ! how can you think so funny even on this serious issue.
Geet-No Maan.I m serious.I think we should give a person some chances if we want her to change her view about ourself.Dadi didn't like her in first meeting .may be after spending some time with her she changes her opinion about her
All were seeing her as if she was an alien
Geet-What?
Ram-tumhaare dimag me ye sab kahan se aata hai?
Geet-Did I say some thing wrong?
pammi-I too think that Geet is right.you have some logic Geet.Maaji ki rai badalne ke k liye Sam ko un ke saath kuchh waqt bitana chaahiye.
Geet-Par uske liye aap ko koi occasion chahiye. You can not take Sam with you to make her stand in front of dadi and say she will spend some time with you to change your dislike in to like. you will have to have some valid reason so that she will not have a doubt.
Ram-I think we should think over it.
and all left
On reaching KM ram said to Priya-Priya you go in I want to talk some important with maan.
Priya-theek hai
She went in.Ram took Maan on a walk-Maan.You know today I felt as if that almighty is up to some thing.
Ram-what do you mean papa?
Ram-You know. mujhe aisa lagta hai ki bhagwan ne teri aur Sam ki nahin balki teri aur Geet ki hi jodi banaai nai.
Maan-Bhagwan bechare kya karenge jab Geet khud hi match maker ban kar meri aur Sameere ki shadi fix karne ke naye naye ideas de rahi hai.bhagwan ki to saari planning chopat karne par tuli hui hai.Meri to samajh me nahin aata ki when she will think about herself.
Ram-mujhe lagta hai ki Geet destiny ko bhi tedhe medhe raste par chal kar manzil tak pahunchne ke liye majboor kar rahi hai.ab dekho Sam abhi shadi kar hi nahin sakti,She needs time.maa doesn't like her so it will take time too as maa is not in condition to hear the truth so i think God has given you some more time.so keep faith in God and your love.you will get it one day I m sure.
Maan-Actually I m tired to expect some miracle mujhe pyar karna hi nahin chahiye tha.aap ki tarah main bhi chupchap kisi simple si unknown ladki ko biwi bana kar le aata.
Ram-And you know now I think that I would have done a complicated love marriage like you.It's fun na to love some one who thinks that you don't love her but some one else.It's so adventurous.
Maan-papa you are the first father of the world who are enjoying my love more than me.
Ram-come on Maan.aisa pyar har kisi ko kahaan naseeb hota hai.Apne bachchon ko sunaane ke liye fairy tale nahin yaad karni padegi tumhen.Maan and Geet will be the hero and heroin of their bed time stories.
On a serious note have faith in that power who is watching you from the sky.I m sure he is up to some thing other wise Sameera se shadi karne me itni rukavaten nahin aati.
Maan-I don't have any other option except to wait.and went to catch some sleep
