Part-26:

At conference room

"I guess you should join the party Arnav...", advised Shyam looking at his brother-in-law very intently...he didn't knw what to do next...but as a Lawyer he was never an easy challenge...and he always made sure that nothing can affect his impassiveness when it comes to his judgement...

Arnav was lost in his thoughts...sitting on the head chair of the large conference table...leaning back on the leather chair...closing his eyes...he took a deep breathe...and opened his eyes to see the ceiling of the room...
"What is he planning?? What will be his next move??", Arnav voiced his thought without averting his gaze...
Shyam got up from his sit to stand beside Arnav...Arnav felt a hand on his shoulder...he just moved his gaze from the ceiling to Shyam...
"You love her a lot...right??"
Arnav again averted his to ceiling...taking a deep breath...
Arnav: I really don't know...but...
Shyam: But you are scared...
Arnav: Scared...not really...
Shyam: Then??

Arnav sat straight...leaned on the his elbows on the table clasping his hands together...with a thoughtful expression on his face...Shyam moved to the closest chair to made himself relax...planning to concentrate on what Arnav is going to say...
Arnav: Everything is just getting messy...
Shyam: Why do you say so?? You married Khushi today...had a successful fashion show...after party is going on...
Arnav: Do you think I really bothered about these things??
Shyam: Then?? Spit it out...
Arnav: What shall I spit out?? You said yourself...
Shyam looked at Arnav sharply to understand what he meant...
Arnav: I married Khushi...of course to protect her...but out of her knowledge...how will she react when she'll know...Had a successful fashion show...which had been at the edge of ruining...having a after party at the hall...but still don't know...what's gonna happen after tonight...this night is getting long for me...I am feeling like...its not gonna end...and when it ends...I don't know what will be waiting for us at morning...
Shyam: Then don't think...
Arnav looked at Shyam serious but a calm face with a confused expression on his face...

Shyam looked at Arnav's face...and concluded that sometimes this shrewd businessman need dose of philosophy...he made an impassive face...and started...
Shyam: Its not always planning Arnav...sometimes you need to sit back and wait...
Arnav: But...
Shyam: Look...life is really uncertain...what will happen tomorrow...why did you married Khushi...its not all about it...you never wanted to leave Khushi...you remember that??
Arnav stared at Shyam as some realization hit him...Shyam chuckled at his retreating back...
Shyam: Don't look at me like that Saale Sahab...I know you for very long...you are not that mystery to me...and not when I am a lawyer...i can read faces...but just think like this...if it was not Khushi...would you have ever come back from that hibernation state of your life after Natasha...No I guess...then...what are you thinking now?? I am sure...you are not really concerned about that Karan...what he is up to...or not even concerned about AK...
Arnav: I am concerned about AK...Its our dream...mine and Khushi's...
Shyam: See...again Khushi...if it was only about you...you would have smashed him like an ant...but no...you did those things...which were less justified according to logic and law...you didn't have to marry Khushi to protect...she is an adult...she can take care of herself...if you are thinking about those papers...then don't forget Shashi uncle can change them anytime...

Arnav: Enough...I know all these...
Shaym stopped...to laugh out loud...the lawyer in him never misunderstood Arnav...the great ASR...!!

At The Hotel Room

The balcony attached to the room was just beautiful...it had a view of full night life of Delhi...the lights were shimmering in their own way far away...no sounds of the busy city...but a wonderful rhythm of water from the pool...which was another view from balcony just under...no one can say that there were party going on the ground floor of the hotel...

"Now will you care to explain the truth??"

Payal's interrogative voice broke Khushi's trance...and she turned to see her sister standing at the balcony door...holding the frame of the door...Khushi stood there silently watching her sister with confused eyes...when Payal came towards her standing crossing her arms in two arms distance...her face was serious...and looks were sharp enough to make Khushi more curious to know what was in her sister's mind...
Payal: What?? Seems like you heard some foreign language from my mouth...
Khushi: Jiji...what are you asking?? Which truth you want to know??
Payal titled her head to see her sister's face more sharply...her eyes were more serious...and Khushi could sense that in the dim light of the balcony which graced by the room light...

Payal: Arnav didn't marry you out of love...right??
Khushi: Jiji..woh...
Payal: Khushi...what are you doing with your life??
Khushi: What do you mean Jiji?? He is my best friend...and he asked me to trust him...and I do...
Payal: Oh come on Khushi...say something new..!! I know you do...and I don't have any problem with that...its fine to trust your best friend...but marrying him...not out of love...what is it Khushi??
Khushi looked at her sister anxiously...she didn't what her sister wants to say...or what she was trying to make her understand...yeah...she knew...she knew she felt for Arnav...more than friendship...but...he thoughts got distracted again by her sister...when Payal hold her shoulder affectionately...

Payal: Its not about a one day project or some business deal Khushi...not even a college competition...this is life...you are a married girl today Khushi...but this is not the way...this is not how it supposed to happen...
Khushi: Jiji...I'll be fine...you know Arnie...
Payal: Khushi...
Khushi looked at her sister with rapt attention...she knew this voice...this is a no nonsense tone of her...and at times when she has this voice...she must have something in her mind which can make one's world up side down...and as expected...her next question make Khushi look at her with disbelief...
Payal: Does Arnav love you??
Khushi: Jiji..we are friends...(came out as a whisper...)
Payal: You were Khushi...you guys are now husband and wife...Mrs Khushi Singh Raizada...once I told you to give it a chance...to see how things turn out...but not like this Khushi...at least not like this...

Payal left a dazed Khushi...who was still trying to figure out...what was she gonna do now?? A friendship...which turned into a Marriage...where trust and faith come hand in hand...but..the one word which can make all these a meaningful sacred bond...is missed out from the frame...and thats word called..LOVE...!! Why did she agreed to marry Arnav when he never said he loves her...forget saying...she doubted even if he believes it or not...and her...what about her feelings...the need to be with him always...forced her mind to marry him without even asking the reason twice...when once he just dropped the question casually and asked her to simply trust him...now what is this??? What all these called??

Friendship or Love???

Arnav entered his decorated room for first wedding night after giving a short visit to their after show party...he didn't entertain people more than with his simple pleasantries...and after bidding a quick good bye to every one...he left for his wife...to see her...to know her...

Yes...after talking to Shyam..he realized one thing...that he did this marriage...not to protect AK...but to protect Khushi...not to defeat Karan...but to keep Khushi only with him...and now...he realized one more thing...that maybe its not that love yet...or maybe Khushi will never reciprocate this feeling as well...but he'll give his best to make this marriage a successful one...just like her promised to his parents...Khushi's parents...to Khushi...and also to himself...this friendship is so much precious to him...and he'll never dare to play with this particular one...

Arnav searched for Khushi in the bathroom also...when he didn't find her in the room...then he turned to see the balcony...when he found her standing with back to him...her form was shuddered...and when Arnav called her...she turned around with her teary eyes...and tear stained face...she ran to him...and threw herself in his arm...Arnav stumbled back...but gain his balance immediately...still shocked with the incident...and then he heard her sobs...and her quivering voice...
Khushi: Arnav...
Arnav was shocked again...when he heard his name from her mouth...its not always she called him with his name...but now...
Arnav: Khush...Khushi what happened Khush??
He hugged her back...while rubbing her back to sooth her...to calm her...
Khushi: You won't leave me right??
Khushi's shaky voice...and this uninvited question surprised Arnav like never...he pulled from the hug...and hold her by shoulder...looking at her face...he asked her with a firm voice...
Arnav: Why do you ask?? Did anyone say anything?? Khushi...talk to me...look at me...

Khushi didn't bother to look at him but still looking down...but then she gathered enough courage to look in his eyes when he tilted her head up by holding her chin...
Khushi: You never say anything...
Arnav looked at her as if he was in short of word...he didn't know what he was supposed to say...is she talking about the Karan matter...but no...she can't know this because he has made sure that these things stayed out of her reach till the show ends...and now he'll tell her everything...but still not tonight...
Khushi: We are married Arnav...and i don't know...what to do now...is this a friendship?? or...
Arnav: A marriage...for life...for eternity...

** Hello My lovely friends...I am sorry I could't post it yesterday as I was damn tired to write anything in a sane mind...so I took this one day...to come up with something I wanted from the beginning...anyways...I have already narrated my story for my long term absence in another FF note...so hope you guys will understand and will support me...

so Shyam and Arnav convo great! i love shyam in this FF he's smart and composed no evil

and he knows arnav so well

just like payal knows khushi

so the sisters talk nice

love the way she made her think about what will happen next what she will do for her marriage

love is not love yet! in thrue true means of love so lets see how it grows

i was holding my breath in the last scene when she ran into his arms

her words her fear wooow loved it

seriously if i want breathing my breath was slow

the way she asked... Perfect

then his words!!!!
