and there came a thud sound... virat n manvi broke the hug n looked at the gate where prem was standing and a bouquet of flowers was lying on the ground which fell from his hand when he saw the confession n the whole scene that followed.
manvi unknowingly whispered " prem...". this scared virat n he looked again at manvi and held her hand tightly becoming protective and insecure. virat was thinking that he cannot afford to lose her now... he loves her, she loves him, and thats the end of the story. naina saw this n knew that her daughter's happiness lies with only n only virat, so she took some steps forward n went to prem.
naina : i m glad you made it beta... but u said that u had some important work.
prem : i thought i shouldnt miss this ocassion n atleast come n wish manvi.
naina : prem can u come with me...?? i will explain you everything...
prem : aunty there is nothing to explain... i have seen it all...
naina : listen beta... we dont want manvi to get hurt n she thinks that virat gave her that engagement ring which u made her wear.
prem : why does it happens with me only...??? why...?? why is manvi doing all this to me...???
naina : she isnt doing it intentionally... she is unwell...
prem : but we all arent unwell... aunty i know what u all want but i also know what i want... apparently we both want the same thing... manvi n her well being n her happiness... but that doesnt mean i will let her go...
naina : prem first come inside and then we will talk beta...

manvi : prem... i think
manvi took a step towards him but virat held her hand so tightly that it made manvi hiss in pain.
virat : you arent going anywhere... tumhe meri parwaah honi chahie ms. manvi...
manvi : but your friend... we should go and
virat : we arent going anywhere... i will talk to him later...
manvi : but..
virat : cant we agrue on petty things later... we just got engaged if u remember...
manvi titled her head n looked at virat while a sweet smile played on her lips " welcome back chep "
virat exactly knew what his manvi meant by this.. he knew that she meant that he is back in his angry young man avatar with all the possessiveness n protectiveness.
virat : thank you...
saying this he made manvi stand beside him n loosened his hold on her hand.

prem : no i dont wish like coming... because i feel like a stranger here...
naina : prem please..
prem : aunty i will come here once my manvi gets back to me... once she regains her memory... i promise mom...
naina : okk son... take care prem...
prem : u too take care mom...
naina : hmm...
viren saw both the scenes n now he was confused about his own feelings. was he happy for his brother's happiness or was he sad for manvi thinking what she would go throught once she gets her memory back or was he feeling pity for prem who lost his love, though the loss is temporary.
jeevika : where are you lost...??
viren : thinking about these three people struck in this game that is played by destiny on them...
jeevika : what...???
viren : manvi, virat n prem... there lives have got entangled n i dont know what will happen next... i dont want virat to get hurt again and i also dont want manvi to go through pain n suffering...
jeevika : dont worry... sab theek hoga... meri mannu ki khushi virat ke saath hai... humein inn dono ke liye khush hona chahie viren...
viren : par kab tak... jab manvi ki yaadasht waapas
jeevika : chodo na... abhi se ye sab kyun soche...?? nahi...
viren : hmm...
scene shifts
manvi : partner... tum mujhse naraaz ho...??
virat : nahi...
manvi : then look at me naa...
virat : why should i look at you...??
manvi : oh my god... tum kitna jealous hote ho... i was thinking about your friend only...
virat : exactly... he is my friend.. i will think about him... u dont need to think about him or anybody else..
manvi : i know... i know i have to only n only think about you... right...??
virat : yes right...
manvi : accha suno...
virat : bolo...
manvi : kyun na di aur viren bhaiya ka bhi kaam karwa de...???
virat : matlab...
manvi : remember meri di tumhari bhabhi n tumhare bhai mere jiju...
virat : ohhh... i remember... good idea...
manvi : okkk then i will talk to dad.
manvi went to rikesh n said something in his ear n viren and jeevika got engaged AGAIN.
manvi : woww... kitna maja ayega na... hum charo ek saath... hai na virat...
virat : haan...
virat looked at viren n he passed virat a smile assuring him that everything would be alright...
the night passed uniting four people - the two who were always meant to be and the two who got united again.
manvi tried sleeping but she couldnt. so she wake up n sat on the bed. then she went near the window after sometime n looked ta the sky, the moon n the stars. she roamed her n there in her room. then she went to jeevika's room to see whether she was awake or not but she was already sleeping. manvi then went to the kitchen n got herself a tub of ice cream n went back to her room. she switched on the tv and surfed the channels...manvi : ufff... main toh pakk gayi yaar... ab kya karun...??? kya karun...?? kya karun...?? virat...
manvi instantly searched for her mobile n found it under the cushions n called virat...
manvi : ye toh lagta hai so gaya... dhokebaaz kahin ka... mujhe neend nahi aa rah aur ye yahan ghode bech ke so raha hai... pick up the phone virat...
virat : hello..
manvi : tum so rahe the...
virat : haan...
manvi : toh fir phone kaise uthaya...
virat : kya hai...??
manvi : mujhe tumhari yaad aa rahi hai..
virat : ek minute... raat ke 3 bje meri yaad aa rahi hai tumhe... main tumhare saamne waale ghar mein hi hoon koi london shondon mein nahin...
manvi : mere pass aao na...
virat : kya...??
manvi : haan... yahan aa jao na... mujhe neend nahi aa rahi hai...
virat : manvi have u lost it... u are asking me to come over at 3 in the morning... try to sleep sweetheart...
manvi : you said u love me... cant you do this much for me...
virat : lets talk on the phone... wat say...??
manvi : okk... i will manage...
virat : ohh you are so cooperative... thank u soo much...
manvi : virat... tum mujhe hamesha aise hi pyaar karoge na...??

virat : kya...?? (virat immediately shifted and sat in bed listening to this question of hers )
manvi : when will u marry me...??
virat : are you that desperate...??? what do u exactly want to do after getting married...??
manvi : dont worry i wont rape on the very first night...
virat : hehe... manvi u really need to sleep...
manvi : arrey i didnt crack a joke...
virat : i never said u cracked one...
manvi : aur honeymoon... i want to go to paris...
virat : one moment u are talking of deciding the date of the wedding n other moment you are talking of honeymoon destination... applauding n i must say u have suddenly become shameless...
manvi : arrey you are my legal fiance now... i can talk about this stuff with you now... you are no longer my best friend viru... now get out of the " mujhse dosti karogi " mode and get into " hum tumhare hain sanam " mode...
virat : hmm... ok madam...
manvi : virat tumne apne friend se baat kari... he seemed upset today in the party...
virat : cant u just forget about him...
virat got angry n disconnected the phone.
virat : i dont want to lose you again manvi... i love you... love u soo much partner... ab main prem ko humare beech nahi aane dunga. you are mine now n no prem can snatch you from me. now virat n manvi are one entity n not even destiny can separate us because i wouldnt let anything happen now. i would not make any mistake now... i would control everything from now on... each n everything would be the way it used to be earlier n now you will see your virat back manvi... the same old possessive n protective virat vadera back in action.
