The dedication was so thoughtful and beautiful...loved it, my poems are reserved for you...so will unres with another one dedicated to Pride ...soonish! Love you too Mints,...can I just say it was better than brilliant...

And C thanks for not pressurising her ...ever!

Pride:

We continue our tale of Arnav and Khushi ,

Something about her effected him deeply ..

Her in the arms of another put him in misery,

Pride , it prevented him from acting naturally,

his feelings for her he could not show obviously...

Khushi was as effected as he!

Appreciation from him she wanted desperately:

Seeking his attention ignoring him continuously

He was proud and could not give in so easily,

But to her talent he had to give in grudgingly.

Her beauty mesmerising him daily,

Intense desire felt by both equally,

Crucial became those moments they shared privately,

Passion and desire they felt silently !

Through their eyes and touch they spoke magically,

Away from each they suffered restlessly,

Pride prevented them from behaving normally:

Searching for each other with anxiety ,

Feelings unknown she needed clarity,

She made her next move carefully .

In green she entered his zone innocently,

He could no longer deny the chemistry ..

His silence broken by her beauty...

his words that came out involuntarily ,

Surprised by the admission she smiled shyly.

Moving forward together finally ,

Till a knock brought them out of their reverie,

A couple together walking in gave him relief instantly

Only to hear a voice calling out "Jalebi"!

Seeing her in arms not his , caused him jealousy :

His pride he then cursed repeatedly !

First of all, thank you for that dedication, Mints!!!
Let me tell u again what a wonderful writer you are.
The more I read, the more I see your own unique style of writing coming through!
Will comment on the update tomorrow, but had to tell you this!

And I certainly am not going to 'remind' you about deadlines and all that...

Thank you for the mention! Very sweet of you. I only appreciated your first chapter because it was what it deserved.

Once again you have provided a great chapter! The flow, structure & continuity was right on.

You have become a natural after two updates, no fumbling or loose ends.

I love how you provide a look into both Khushi & Arnav's thought process. It heightens the awareness & chemistry that these two are experiencing for the reader.
