Geet was having her most enjoyable time at KM.She was experiencing different feelings living with Ram Priya Dadi and offcourse maan.Some time she had tears seeing Maan's bonding with his parents and dadi.Then she always complaint to God for snatching her family.She always thought if she was that bad that she didn't deserve a family.For the world she was the daughter of Sagar Khanna but never got a family in that house.She always feared -Agar vicky ko pata chala ki main uski blood sister nahin hoon toh woh bhi Sameera ki tarah badal jaayega.She always prayed to God to keep Vicky as he is.
two days passed.Khurana family also was enjoying those moments with Geet as they always felt the lack of a daughter in their house.they were cherishing the moments when Maan and Geet had fight on minor issues and Geet always complaining to Ram and Priya about Maan and Poor Maan getting scoldings from his parents for no mistakes .Maan was too happy that Geet was always laughing and smiling like she forgot every thing that she was here for some purpose.one night Geet was chatting with dadi in her room suddenly Savitriji asked Geet to call Priya.Geet went to Priya's room and witnessed a heavenly scene there .Maan was lying in her lap like a small child and Ram was sitting on bed near them. Priya was massaging Maan's head with some oil.
Maan-maa aapke haathon mein jaise jaadoo hai.i m feeling so light.
Priya-haan.Jab tak biwi nahin aati tab tak hi tujhe maa ki god chahiya.baad mein to tujhe yaad hi nahin rahega ki teri ek maa bhi hai.
Maan-Pls maa.stop behaving like a typical mother in law.
Ram-it's nothing.this is just an insecurity. You know Maa also used to talk like this before our marriage.Har maa ko darr hota hai ki shadi ke baad uska beta badal jaayega.
Priya-Really Maa talked like this?
Geet never saw such intimacy between her so called family and she did not have a heart to disterb them.her eyes were also turning teary.She decided to go back without disterbing them.As she turned Ram saw her.
Ram-Geet arrey beta why are you standing there? come in.Geet wiped her eyes and turned to them.Maan saw her eyes and he knew that she was crying.
Geet-wo aunty Dadi was calling you so I came to tell you but didn't want to interfere in family moments so I was going back.
Priya-Geet maa ko kuchh kam tha?
Geet-I don't know aunty.
Ram-chalo Priya I will too come with you. and both left.
Geet too turned to leave But Man stopped her.He came to her and turned her to him-Kya hua Geet.Why are you crying?
Geet-It's nothing Maan. aankh mein shayad kuchh gir gaya tha isliya aankh se paani nikal rahaa hai.
Maan-Geet, u don't need to lie to me.koi toh baat hai.Pls tell me.
Geet-Maan I m sorry to think this but some times I m jealous of you.You have such a wonderful and lovely family.Pata nahin bhagwaan ne mere saath hi kanjoosi kyun ki?Sach Maan you are very lucky.
Maan's eyes too were wet hearing that-Kyun meri family tumhaari family nahin hai?
Geet-Nahin Maan ye toh Sameera ki family hai.main toh bas kuchh pal uske naam par ji rahi hoon yahan.kuchh din aur phir sab khatm.
Maan was too feeling bad for Geet.why that Almighty writes all hardness in few peoples' fate?
Maan wanted to lighten the atmosphere so he said-would you like to eat icecream.
geet-Abhi.It's late.
Maan-Icecream parlour paas mein hi hai chalo.
maan informed his elders and both went to icecream parlour.Maan ordered a butter scotch cones for them as both liked that flavour.(MY favorite too)
geet was happy to have that and they started to eat.they were stting on a bench outside of the parlour.They were talking and Geet forgot all her pain.and maan was like-It's so easy to distract her.
suddenly Maan saw some icecream on Geet's nose as she was talking so was very casual while eating it.some icecream was near her lips too.
Maan saw it and started to laugh.Geet saw him with frown-kya hua?pahle kisi ko icecream khaate nahin dekha kya?
Maan-It's not like that.haan Naak se khaate kisi ko nahin dekha. you are the first whom I m watching eat with nose
Geet pouted-Maan don't make a fun of me and she cleaned her nose.but near her lips it was still there.Maan pointed at that too but Geet couldn't understand.
She asked-Now what?
maan-Some is still on your lips.
She wiped it but could not remove.Maan could not stop himself from wiping it and he brought his thumb near her lips and cleaned it.Geet felt some shiver in her body she closed her eyes and maan saw it.
Maan removed his hand and called her-Geet
Geet opened her eyes and for a moment she saw in his eyes there was some thing.She lowered her eyes and was mute at all.
Maan smiled and said-chalen?
Geet didn't say any thing and she moved. Maan too followed her .they were silent all the way.
In her room Geet sat on her bed and that incident flashed in her mind again.Why was it different?why I felt so good?
she was puzzelled at what was coming in her mind-Geet why are you thinking about it.maan ne icecream hi to clean ki thi.What's there to think like that
maan too was thinking about that-Why I m not able to control myself.but today Geet was behaving differently.Was she feeling some thing for me.Then thinks-Geet aur mere baare mein kuchh alag soche uske liye toh ye paap hai.
he sighed and laid on bed to sleep.
Next moning Maan was in his cabin and thinking about Geet and the incident which happened between them.he took out his wallet and saw the picture in it.It was his family picture.Then he took a picture which he kept behind his family picture.It was of Geet.he saw it with a smile and got lost in it.. Same time Geet came in and saw him starring at a picture.She cleared her throat but Maan did't respond.Poor Maan he was so lost that he could not see a devil in front of him.he was smiling.When Geet saw him not reacting she came forward and snatched that picture from him.
Maan was dead to see that picture in geet's hand-Maan aaj ye tera last day hai Geet ke saath . Today you are dead.Agar Geet ne photo dekh li toh gadbad ho jaayegi.
Geet thought the picture to be of Sameera so she did not make an effort to look at that,She only wanted to tease him and irritate him.
Geet-Girlfriend ke khayaalon mein aise khoye ho ki doston ka dhyan hi nahin hai.main kab se tumhen bula rahi thi par tum sun hi nahin rahe the.
Maan was sweating badly-Geet give my photo back.
Geet- No I will not.
Maan-Geet pls.
Geet-nahin.
Maan at last shouted-Geet,BE IN LIMITS.GIVE THE PHOTO BACK
Geet was shocked to see maan shouting.She at once stopped and kept the photo on table up side down and said-I m sorry.Here is your picture.I forgot my limits and I m sorry again for that.next time I will keep it in mind
Saying this she left.
Maan was relieved that she didn't see the picture and kept it back in his wallet.and Next second-O MY GOD. what I did? I shouted on her.and made her upset.he closed his eyes ans sank in his chair-Ek musibat khatm hui ab doosri shuru.She must be surely angry on me.Ab kya karun?
