PART 8
It is already Thursday night and tomorrow is the party. I have completed all work given to me. I should mention that Ranveer is an amazing organizer. I bet the party is going to be so much fun. Wherever i go i hear about the party. Even now we all sitting in dining are discussing about the party.

" so you are telling me this time it is actually going to be like a perfect party and not like bunch of teenagers gathering to chat and gossip " uncle asked popping potato in his mouth.

" sure dad i have worked really hard this time " Rishab said making a serious face as if he is responsible for everything going around.

" and we were bird watching " i added giving him an annoyed look.

" i know maddy you helped them and i bet this time it will be worth calling a party " uncle smiled at me. He calls me maddy and always supports me over his sons. Poor man used to tell me how eagerly he designed baby room all pink as the doctor told him yash will be a girl and finally was so sad to find third boy in a row.

" I m least bothered about party but i want the house clean before Saturday afternoon else you all can starve " aunty warned looking at Rishab and Ranveer.

I can understand her plight. If i were in her place i would never allow my kids to party in my house. For god's sake they can break on of her imported glass articles. The landline buzzed and everyone looked at yash. They have turns to attend to any interference during food time and gladly my turn was over yesterday. It is in age order.

" who is this? " yash asked to the person in phone

" Raja Malik ? . ohk . yeah . she is here . i ll call her "

Before yash could turn around and call me i was behind him. Raja Malik my father. Its been like ages since i talked to my parents. Did they forget me or as a matter of fact did i forget them. Not once after coming here i thought about them or called them to at least inform i m fine here. However i m ashamed to tell this these Khundra brothers kept me occupied that i almost forgot other problems in my life.

" hello dad " i said cheerfully. No it is not fake i love my dad of course i love my mom as well. I just don't love the fact that they don't love each other and they stay apart.

" hello princess " he said with his usual lovable voice. " how are you? "

" i m great daddy. How are you and how is mom? " i can't help asking about mom. He probably wouldn't have met her since i was here.

" i m good and you mom is doing fine. She is presently working on extending the restaurant " he said. That was too much information considering it is from my dad.

" really! That is great. " i didn't know what more to tell. Did you meet mom? I wanted to ask but i m never used to interfere.

" your mom told me that Khundras has three sons is it right? " he asked. Second time he says about my mom.

" yup"

" are they any trouble to my princess. Should i talk to Mr.Khundra? " he asked. Ohk now he is wearing that typical 'I-m-the-dad' hat.

" no dad they are fine " i said except that the elder one roams with a mysterious aura and the middle one irritate me to the point i want to plaster his mouth.

" good then. I know princess what we are making you do is definitely a shame to any parent but we can't put you into more trouble. I always want you to remember that you are on one side when the world is another side. I will put you before everything even myself. I want you to be happy and that is what i m trying ." he said his voice unusually serious

" i know daddy and i ll always love you for that " i said

" Hope to see you see princess. Take care " he told
" sure daddy take care of yourself " i said. Placing the receiver on the phone i felt something wet on my cheeks. Oh god i was crying. I know the Khundras are looking at me even without turning and last thing i want is sympathy. I hate crying in front of people.

" i m no more hungry " i said and didn't bother to wait for any response. I just flew to my room.

After about 15 minutes i was no more crying but still too sad to go down. I think i m fine meeting them tomorrow morning and pretend that everything is ok. I heard a knock. It must be Ranveer because he is the one who comes to console me whenever i fight with Rishab. Now i m in no mood to talk. I prefer being alone when i m sad.

" i m sleeping" i shouted. The knock stopped.

But before i could relax the door opened revealing Rishab. Jeez did i forget to latch the door? I was trying to find appropriate profanity when he held my hand and dragged me out.

" what the h**k are you doing? " i asked trying to free my hand.

" you are sleeping so i m invading your dream " he smirked. God i can never be tired of telling how much i hate him.

We reached the balcony attached with lawn. He held my waist and made me sit on the parapet. He stood beside me crossing his arms. I gave him W*F look.

"Crying can lessen heart's burden. I guess now your crying is over so it's time we change the mood. "He said

"I m too tired to tolerate you moron "i said

" come on tweet cherish when i m good to you it happens only once in a blue moon " he said. Pity that blue moon never comes.

" i m going " i tried to get down but he placed his arms on either side preventing me.

" i ll push you down " he threatened

" ohhh i m scared " i made fake scared face

" i ll kiss you " he said

" i thought you are gonna kiss me only in that 'kiss room' of yours " i said sounding innocent.

" smart,aren't we? " he smiled.

" now will you let me go? " i asked

" 5...4...3...2...1 " he said and surprise Ranveer and yash jumped in the scene from nowhere. What caught my special attention were ice cream tubs. They both had two each.

" chocolate ,strawberry, black current and butterscotch. So which one? " Ranveer asked raising his eyebrows.

If these guys are trying to make me happy then i have to give it to them they are succeeding. I love ice creams.

" don't say chocolate please " yash begged with baby eyes. He is younger so i should sacrifice right? He can have it.

I turned my attention to black current. May be i could do with that.

" you are not trying to steal my baby are you? " Rishab eyed me picking black current from Ranveer. Moron Khundra i was about to snatch it from him when he licked it and showed me his tongue in victory. Yuck. That gives me the 76th reason to hate him.

Strawberry? Nay i hate it. I saw Ranveer drooling at butterscotch. Great guys and i thought i was getting to pick first .but I can understand why he hates strawberry. The taste is too girly for even me. But now i have no choice. I picked strawberry after all they are ice creams. Ranveer smiled.

I was thankful we didn't stick to our own ice creams but ended up scooping from others'. I was reluctant to take from Rishab. For god sake he licked it but he held my head and shoved spoonful into my mouth. Now who forgot he is a moron? This moment is going into the top ten best times of my life. Ranveer is a friend and a guide every girl craves for. He is caring, protective and well perfect. Yash is a younger brother i never had. What should i say Rishab is just his usual moron Khundra and i like him that way. Not like as in that like. You know what i mean. He makes me happy in his own way how much ever i try to deny.

" next time when you are sad remind me to tell Rishab bro so that we all can get ice creams" yash said while scooping spoonful of my strawberry.

I froze till i understood what he meant. Rishab ordered these ice creams for me? I looked at Rishab who didn't seem to be affected by the revelation. My gaze shifted to Ranveer who nodded with a smile. May be from now we can change to capital Moron to small letter moron. However he still is a moron.

After ice cream party and yash and Rishab revealing each other's childhood secrets i began to yawn and decided to call it night. Yash hugged Rishab and Ranveer wishing them good night.

" owh that is so dramatic " i commented

" one of the crazy family practices " yash said shrugging

" ohk " i began to walk. I stooped suddenly in the middle making the guys halt.

" what ? " Rishab asked

" can we make that a group hug ? " i asked

They three looked at me as if i was crazy. Yash was the first one to say ok. Then for the first time i shared a family bonding group hug. It may be usual for anyone but for me it was a assurance that i have a proper family to cherish. Rishab and Ranveer were on either side of me and yash squeezed between them complaining how skinny he looked in front of his brothers.

" how sweet " we heard Aunty's voice and if i was not wrong i saw her shedding happy tears.

" are we invited ? " uncle asked.

Rishab moved aside making way for them to join 'our' group hug. Now i can dare to call my life complete.

I bet my jaw is dropped down seeing the amazing dress before me. I told aunty that the theme is cindrella and i need to go shopping. She promised me that she will get me a dress. But i didn't expect that she would get me a dress directly imported from original fairy.

" i can't believe this " i said

" is it bad? " aunty asked looking worried

Are you kidding me? This is just all best adjectives in the world put together. For someone like me who never wore a proper dress it is a treat.

" aunty i love this. You shouldn't have spent so much" i said . She can't waste money on me i ll make sure to tell daddy to send me extra amount to pay for her.

" of course i can. You are my daughter " she said rather proudly. I liked it.

" i m not sure if i could carry this well " i said suddenly worried if i would skid.

" you will sweetheart. Now i m going to make look the most beautiful girl in the planet that there is going to be no boy who is not going to ask you for dance " she said excitedly. I doubt that though. I m average height with thin body and fair skin tone. No way i m going to look like a fairy.

" i haven't done this for long time " she exhaled looking at her makeup kid.

Ah makeup quiet boring for the person who is getting it done. I switched on TV and put on some music channel before settling in the chair closing my eyes. Getting ready for the party. Ufff already tired.

These three brothers r indescribably sweet I just looove everyone of them 😊
They consoled madhu..and RK even bought for them ice cream--> sooo sweet
The ice cream eating scene and the 4 sharing it was amazing 👏
