Samira appreciated her look in the mirror one last time as she came out of her room not even sparing a glance at her husband… he was not important anymore…. She held the pallu of her sari in a stylish manner as she descended the stairs…. But what she saw when she reached the last stair shocked her….. There she saw Geet, that girl from yesterday, the middle class low life smiling and hugging Dadi…. How could she… but first of all where the hell did she come from… she roamed her eyes and then found another shocking sight…. She saw Maan sitting on the sofa smiling appreciatively as he looked on the drama in front of him….. Samira felt like burning these people…. What she had thought and what it had turned out to be.. till last night she was imagining herself to be the queen of this house but now from somewhere Maan had found out this trash and bought it to this house to decorate it… she huffed as she stiffly walked towards the happy gathering….

Samira…. See… let me introduce you to Geet… Dadi said cheerfully… this is Geet Maan Singh Kurrana…. Dadi said proudly….

Samira opened her mouth like a fish.. but nothing came out…..

What is the matter Samira???? Dadi asked as she found Samira just gaping at Geet…. Here Geet was uncomfortable… she remembered how Samira had talked to her last night…. And was not very pleased to meet her.. But still managed an uncomfortable smile on her face as she dint want to disappoint the kind Dadi standing here…..

No Dadi…. Wo…. Samira started…

Dadi… Samira knows Geet.. I had introduced them both last night…. But then so many things happened said Maan as he remembered what he had to ask Geet when they were alone…

Oh.. that is good… ok … now go to the kitchen and prepare a something sweet….. Dadi said happily, gently pushing her two bahus towards the kitchen…. Samira dint know what to say… she just stood fixed to the floor when they heard a voice…

Wo dadi.. Sam cant cook… said Dev as he came down the stairs… and earned a disapproving glance from Samira….

Han Dadi.. actually….. Samira tried to justify…

Come on dadi…. Who in the city now days knows to cook…. Jut leave it…. Added Maan trying to diffuse the situation…

Dadi ji…. Me bana dungi… Geet said softly… Dadi smiled and signed, relieved that at least one of her bahu's could cook… Geet made her way into the kitchen and started to make the whole breakfast…. Along with a sweet dish…. After one hour….. the whole family assembled on the dining table… and Geet along with Nakul kaka arranged the food….All the time, as Geet served the family, 2 pairs of eyes kept on watching her every move along with Maan's reactions…. One of them was Samira… she couldn't understand how Maan had selected this girl…. She had nothing special in her… she seemed so not Maan's type….. The other one was Dadi… she liked Geet… this was the kind of girl she wanted for Maan… if Maan was fire.. Geet would be water to cool him off… she saw as how Geet had served everyone with equal amount of enthusiasm…. She smiled internally… but there was something off…. She was old and experienced and hence could see the hesitation in certain things… she mentally told herself that she needed to talk to Maan abt this….

The breakfast was done and the family left off, occupying their own rooms, as Dev dint want to stay in front of his brother…. He felt guilty of snatching his brother's love…. That is what he thought when Maan had supported Samira in the morning cooking matter…. He thought he had married Geet in a hurry just to prove a point… he somewhere felt guilty of putting a nave girl like Geet into all this… Dev felt even more guiltier after this morning….. because of him 5 lives have been destroyed…. Maan, Geet, Samira Meera and his… he was a criminal who dint deserve any happiness in his life…. cursing himself he made his way towards his room…

Maan had left to his room as he wanted to talk to Dadi… he needed to tell Dadi abt all this….. as he dint hide anything from her…. Moreover he needed her help in understanding what to do.. how to take this sudden relationship future…….

Samira left as she was no more interested in this family drama…. She had to think of what her next plan of action would be... moreover she was inquisitive to know what kind of relationship these two shared….

Dadi had gone into her room to get Geet a gift… and as for Geet she dint know where to go… so she went into the only room she had been introduced as far…. The kitchen, and decided to help Nakul kaka in cleaning much to the concern of Nakul who dint want the new bahu of the house doing such things…..

The knock on the door bought Dadi's attention from the jewel box she was holding and remembering…

Come in…. she called as she placed it on the bed….

Dadi…are you free??? I need to talk to you… this is important….Maan said coming in…

What is troubling you bete??? She asked concerned

Maan smiled…. His dadi always knew him better than anyone… Actually Dadi… I just what to talk to you abt Geet and myself… he said…..

Wo dadi…. Let me first start with the happenings of yesterday… and so Maan narrated the events that led to his marriage to Geet…. Dadi… quietly listened to all this… but in her mind… he was surprised… she had heard of fated love…. And now hearing this from Maan she had seen it also… Going by what he is saying, Geet seemed to be fated to wed Maan… and she would defo help her grandson in taking this relationship to better heights……

So Dadi… I don't know what to do now???? Shd I let go of Geet…. You know by making her study, and getting her a job… making her independent….. or should I take this marriage seriously….. moreover it is not like its legal… I just filled her partition and that is all….. he added… much to the disappointment of Dadi….

But dadi… I'm not able to do it also… I feel there is something that connects me to her…. And I really don't want to let go of it…. He added making Dadi's eyes glitter in happiness….

I am so confused….. I don't know what to do… on top of that,… Geet… I don't know what she wants…. She never opens up to me dadi…. He complained like a kid making Dadi giggle….

Dadi.. I'm asking for a solution and you are making fun of me… he pouted…..

Maan bete… there is no problem at all… if you want to take this relationship seriously…. First prove it to her…. Make her feel that you want to take this relationship seriously and it is not some thing that you did to show others….! She explained and in making her independent… you can do it now also… what relations does it have with you accepting her….??? She can be your wife and get your love along with continuing her studies….

So you mean….

Yes.. first start with it.. then let things happen.. but Maan…. In such matters let your heart govern… not your mind…. Please Bete.. remember this…. Dadi said as Maan nodded and got up to leave….

One more thing….. Dadi stopped him and then placed the jewel box in his hand…. When you both are ready… just give this to her…. She said winking her eye… Maan shook his head thinking abt his Dadi and left the room…..

He reached his room only to remember that he has not shown Geet around…. He left to kitchen hoping she would be there….

Geet was helping Nakul and in between talking too…..

Beti…. Me ne kal aapko yahan se bagte dhekha…. Kya hua tha???? he asked as he had seen her crying also…

Wo kaka.. kuch khas nahi… she replied tried to evade the topic…

Teek hai beta.. aapko batana nahi tho….. dragged Nakul…

Nahi nahi kaka…. Essi koyi bath nahi…. Wo kya hai na…. kal kuch logone mujhe bura bhala kaha… upar se yeh bhi kaha ki mujhe unke(Maan) sath dekhke log unpe hasenge aur pairvar walo ka bezathi karenge…. Me nahi chahti ki mere wajha se inhe ya inke pariwar ko kuch ho isliye yaha se nikal gayi thi… she said to Nakul…. As she wiped her tear from her eyes… she had told kaka in a sublime manner how Samira had called her trash.. but she had restrained herself from taking names as she dint want to blame Samira for what happened yesterday…. Geet thought today was a new day and what happened yesterday shd be left as past…

But all this was heard by Man who had come to get Geet… he dint know who it was… and his trust in Samira refused to believe that this could have been done by her only….. but listening to all this, made Maan realize the amount of insecurities she had in regard to this relationship…. He told himself that he had to clear all this before he could start anything new…. He took out his phone and called his trusted man Adhi…. Cutting the call he went inside the kitchen…

Geet…. He called her… startling her….

Jjj…ji… she said blushing… she dint know why she felt so shy in front of him….. she looked at her feet trying to avoid looking at his brown eyes….

Mere sath challo…. He said and moved forward… Geet smiled at Nakul and left, following her husband…. Maan led her to his room.. or to say their room….. Geet.. do you have any age proof with you??? He asked her suddenly….

Ji…. Par wo tho mere bag me hai…. She remembered taking her birth certificate and other school things on the insistence of her badi ma…. Ok.. your bags will be here in few minutes.. saying he left her….

After 15 min, Maan came back with her bag.. Where are they?? He asked her giving her the bag…

Ek min.. she replied and surfed through it…. There she found a file and gave the whole bunch to Maan… Maan took out the birth certificate.. he was shocked…. God…. She was not even 18 yrs as of now… they had to wait another 3 months for her to turn 18… he closed his eyes in irritation.. he was well aware of what the consequences could be if people came to know of him marrying an underage girl…. I'll keep this myself and don't tell anyone abt your age…. Understood… I mean no one… he stressed on the no one properly…. And left the room.. he had planned to get married to Geet legally but in this present situation that would not be possible… but then it was for the good.. he has 3 months to make Geet understand him and he too has enough time to understand her…. He pacified his mind and entered his study….

Meanwhile Dadi was planning the muhdikhayi rasam for both her daughter in laws…. And Maan was not told abt this… Dadi presented Geet and Samira with nice sari and jewelry… she instructed them that they should be down by 6… Geet took her clothes and decided to start getting ready by 4… now it was just 1 and there was still more time…. They had finished their lunch and so when Geet was busy setting her clothes in the cupboard allotted for her, Samira was busy ordering the driver to get her to the beauty parlor…… for the next 3 hours one bahu was getting herself familiarized with her sasural and another one was busy decorating herself…. It was nearly 4:30 and Geet had not even started getting ready… she dashed into the bathroom to take a bath and get ready…. She cursed herself for not keeping track of time…. She hurried through her bath and then came out wearing her blouse and skirt…. She took the sari that dadi had given her and started wearing it in front of the mirror…. After draping it she gave an over all view of herself and felt she looked fine…. But now there was only one problem… the dori… her hands dint reach them and hence couldn't tie them properly… she tried for another 10 min but stopped suddenly when she felt warms hands removing her hands…. She closed her eyes as she knew who that was…

Maan's hands gently brushed her back as he tied the dori… he dint know what this attraction was…. It was strange and was pulling him towards her and surprisingly he couldn't stop himself… he tied the dori and bent his head and kissed her nape gently… Geet closed her eyes absorbing the warmth that it generated in her body… he took the bangles from the dressing table and gently slid them onto her hands, brushing his fingers on her slowly and sensuously….. he did the same with the other too…. he took out the necklace and gently placed it on her neck.. Pushed her hair to one side and hooked it….. all this time, his eyes were on her reflection on the mirror… he was amused to see the change of color of her face… her fair skin was not red as a tomato.. he then left her and took the box that Dadi had given… it was a mangalsutra…. A family heirloom…. He took it in his hands and made her wear it… he then took a pinch of kumkum from pot and filled her parting and then placed a kiss on her forehead… all this time Geet was in trance… his hands were like hypnotizing her… she had never been subjected to such feelings before…. But her heart overflowed with emotions when he put the mangalsutra on her and completed it with sindoor….. she remembered how sad she was as she dint wear a mangalsutra… but now her wishes had come true even before she said anything in this regard…. Today she was truly Mrs. Geet Maan Singh Kurrana… and she basked in this feeling.. and hope to feel so for eternity…….

This was big… but not much imp things happened.. but the next will be fast moving update… I need to take the story forward.. I'll try to update tomo….
