"Who is this Jikki, sweetie?" Megha always found Rimjhim energetic and enthusiastic. Rimjhim had never missed an opportunity to express her love for Megha, in every way.
"It's you my dear Jhansi ki Rani!" Megha laughed out loud and wondered how Mohan was managing there without this little sparkler
When Megha decided to bring Rimjhim with her home for the next few days, Rimjhim had no bounds to her happiness. She liked Megha and wanted to be with her anytime of the day. When she entered the house, she met Renu who was practicing for a speech in English.
"Hello ladeej and gantlemen! It ij my pleajure to meet you all. Dhis is a spejial occajion for you as you gat to meet me today. "
"Haaa haaa! What a burfomance!!!" Rimjhim just burst out in laughter and claps
Though Megha tried to hold herself down, she could not help chuckling. Renu stared at them
"Who is this shaitan?"
"Who is this peepa?"
Jiji walked laughing at Rimjhim's instant response and said to Renu "Kids are like mirror! They reflect what you want them to! Look what happened" Renu ignored her and continued her practice.
"Jiji, this is Rimjhim, my favorite student from the Summer Camp. Sweetie, this is Jijibua"
Jiji understood her context and did not want Renu to know anything.
"Hi Jijibua! Can you make a nice dress for me too?" Jiji was surprised at her request and found Rimjhim checking the dress that she was holding in her hands.
"Sure I will, babyji!" Rimjhim gave a smile shyly at Jiji's address and she hugged her
"She is such a sweet darling and knows only to love" As Megha praised her, Rimjhim hugged her and said "Just like my Jikki"
Rimjhim settled comfortably in the living room when Megha took her things inside. Rimhjim noticed Renu standing on the table and talking, as if she's on a public stage. Mischievously Rimjhim just shook the table and Renu got terrified at the shake. She started chasing Rimjhim who laughed and ran around giving a challenge to Renu.
"Looks like Renu got some tough rival now" Jiji laughed telling Megha
"Spii Spii Spiderman!!!" Nanhi stammered
"Yes, yes! Spying Spiderman" Mohan pulled a chair to join them at the table
When Mohan was driving through the Coffee shop, he found Nanhi's new scooty parked there. As he had time in hand, he thought of giving a surprise visit to her, when she's lazing with her friends. When he found Nanhi alone with Beera, he wasn't sure what to make out of it. He thought of returning without disturbing them but then he went ahead to peep in their conversation, just out of curiosity.
"Hai! I am Beera. Nice to meet you" Beera pitched in knowing that no words are coming out of Nanhi
"Hello! I am Mohan. Are you sure?"
"What?"
"Are you sure it was nice meeting me here?" Mohan winked at him to which Beera was just smiling
"Hey Chavvanni, sunna! Looks like flies are getting inside your mouth! Close it" Mohan turned too Nanhi and patted her back. Beera was trying to control his laughter hearing the name 'Chavvanni'
"Hey Spiderman, sunna" Mohan and Beera both were astonished on this response from Nanhi
Mohan and Nanhi looked at each other; they remembered their good old days and cracked up leaving Beera no choice other than to join them in their laughter. Nanhi sensed that Mohan was evaluating Beera amidst their casual talks.
"What is this, Spiderman?"
"What is this, Chavvanni?"
Finally when Beera left, Nanhi and Mohan both let out at the same time, the question pestering them throughout their conversation.
"Do you doubt me?" Again they had the same words out at the same time. Both laughed at this situation which relieved the discomfort between them.
"Arrey yaar! Would you stop me from looking out for my little Chavvani?" Mohan pushed her on the forehead smilingly and put his arms around her shoulders, making her feel like his little girl
"I am grown enough to know what I am doing"
"Yeah I can see that"
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing! Just like that. Look at your dress! You used to wear that uniform and worry about it being short! Now, it's the same size but you never complain about it" Mohan teased at her looking at the skirt she was wearing
"Ufff!!! Spiderman, this is quite long enough for this generation. You should see those ultra miniskirts that my colleague Anu, wears! All the boys are behind her the moment she's in office"
"Good for me! Hope Beera is not one among them!" He said looking at somewhere to which Nanhi slightly swatted him with her palms
"Beera is a sweet guy. Do you remember the TV breaking story I told you? It is Beera. The day when I met him at the office was really very funny. He was holding his laptop tight enough to crush it as if saving it from me" Nanhi started laughing remembering those instances as she elaborated more about their petty fights and how they became friends now.
"I did not expect that he would turn out to be very good friend of mine" Mohan was looking at her as if judging her statements and matching it with her expressions
"By the way, what's the thing with this Beera?" Mohan went back to square one and started running asking this, Nanhi chased him both laughing like little pranksters
It had been good days for Addu at the office since his interesting stint with Mohan. Addu found him putting in additional efforts to work towards the assignment, to make it the best. And he was surprised to know he is trying to impress Mohan, this time around, and not anyone else. He even started taking interest in his outlook which he was not worried about earlier. He did not have time to think about anything else apart from his work and he was happy about it.
"Hurray! Cricket? WOW!!" Jayesh grabbed the tickets to check the details
"Yeah! I am very happy and wanted to celebrate it with you all"
"Can I join your celebrations?" Addu turned to look at Mohan smiling at him
"Yes, yes Sir!" Addu managed to respond
"Just let me know the day and time. We will go together"
"Ok Sir"
Mohan did not stop by to check Addu's reaction to know whether he is happy or confused about his intrusion. And he did not want to bother about it too much as he wanted to spend some time with Addu. He thought he will make this opportunity special for both of them.
"Perfect and Beautiful"
Rimjhim insisted on dressing up like Megha. When Megha managed to get all her styles implied on the little girl, she was stunned to see the transformation. She wondered whether Mohan too saw her own reflection in this little life around him. She found tears of happiness rolling down her cheeks burying herself in his thoughts.
"Arrey yaar! Hey Mirchi Madam!" Megha hastily wiped off her tears and raised her eyebrows at Rimjhim's call
"Ohhh! You too?"
"Why? Is it only Paapu who has the right to call you that?" Rimjhim teased her and Megha squeezed her nose then tickled her
Jiji was overwhelmed at this scene and thought 'Oh God! Let the same happiness stay with our family always'
