The doctor went on and on but Manyata's mind was repeating only 2 words where she lay -'She is 2 months pregnant!!-' what the hell? She was married for only more than a week for heavens sake!
Uday seemed to have heard her doubt when he said with an incredulous expression "Doctor aap ki report galat hai, humari shaadi ko abhi 1 hafta hi hua hai'yeh toh ho hi nahi sakta!
"yeh leejiye aap khud padh leejiye" doctor gave him the report and for a moment he was the old Veer again as he couldn't comprehend the English words. Unnati took it from him and read it and her eyes were bulging as she read it fully.
"lagta hai kisi ne is report me bhi gadbad ki hai, yeh toh bilkul sach nahi ho sakta" she said.
Manyata's frustration cut through her flaccid state and she sat up gathering all her energy. "jhoot hai yeh'main pregnant nahi hoon'Veer mera yakeen karo'mera yakeen karo" she said with feeble but firm voice.
"Tumhe hosh aagaya Princess! Lagta hai tumne doctor ki baat sunli'" Uday said.
"Band karo yeh natak'aur batao kis ka bachcha hai yeh? Koun se paap ki nishani?" Yuddhaveer said with a self righteous air.
"maaf keejiye par Manyata ke baare me aisi baatein karne ka kisi ko koi haq nahi hai'kisi aur ne yeh baat boli hoti toh main'" Udayveer was enraged with anger.
"Jo sach hai woh sach hai'bata, kya yeh baat jhoot hai ki Akash aur iska chakkar tha shaadi se pehle? Yeh jis aadmi ke liye ghar chod kar bhagi thi kya woh Akash nahi tha?" Yuddha said stunning both Manyata and Udayveer. How the hell did he know that?no one at home knew this, except J
The truth was, Yuddha wanted to find a weak chink in armour of Udayveer so he had run a check on both their backgrounds and found lots of things.
Manyata couldn't deny the truth as what Yuddha said wasn't totally untrue.
"Yeh baat hai sach hai Manyata?" Brijraj asked her after a moment of silence.
"Papa, yeh baat sach hai par-" he cut her inbetween and said "Hume kuch nahi sunna, tumne sharm se humara sar jhuka diya'lanat hai tum par" he said.
"Papa meri baat suniye'yeh sab jhoot hai..mera yakeen keejiye" she wailed but Brijraj had already left.
The others had nothing to say so they left one by one leaving only Manveer in the room.
"Uday kya tumhe bhi shak hai ki main'?"
"Princess, mujhe tumhari baat par poora yakeen hai..tumhari tabiyat abhi achchi nahi hai..tum aaram karo'phir hum baith kar is baat ka samadhan nikalenge" Udayveer -rather Manyata's Veer- said holding her hand in support.
"Veer, main thak gayi hoon is tamashe se'please mujhe Mumbai wapas le chalo, please" Her voice came out muffled as he hugged her to his chest.
"haan Manyata hum jald hi Mumbai wapas jaayenge'apne ghar" he consoled her.
"sab log samjhte hain ki main maa banne wali hoon, yeh sach nahi hai Uday; koi mujhe badnaam karna chahta hai..jhoot hai yeh" Manyata said with tears in her eyes.
As she hadn't fully recovered yet Uday made her lie down and he stayed there till she slept.
Yuddha had been observing them from quite sometime and he couldn't control his anger and punched the wall in disgust. His plan had seemed so perfect..how did it fail then? If everything had gone according to what he had thought, he would be the one consoling Manyata in the room and Uday could go to hell for what he cared. He had got someone in the hospital to change the blood report for a price.
He was almost sure that once the news of Pregnancy comes out, Uday would doubt Manyata's chastity and there would be a fight between them. Uday would leave Manyata ;then Yuddha could show some symapthy and she would fall into his arms like any weak minded woman. But just the opposite had happened. But he wasn't discouraged, he thrived on challenges and Women and money were his weaknesses. He would get this woman come what may, even if he had to commit a murder he would.

As she was coming down the stairs, she saw Yuddhaveer approaching her with a sword in his hand. The sword which belongs to the reigning king of the state. The others were forbidden to touch it without King's permission. she was getting an eerie feeling as the house seemed too quite; like she was the only person there.
"Is talwar ko wapas rakh deejiye, yeh maharaj ki talwar hai" she said but Yuddha didn't listen and stabbed her in the stomache with it.
As she fell down screaming Veer's name, she noticed tad too late that it was stained with blood even before he stabbed her. That means...
Yuddha let out a war whoop "Hum jeet gaye...ab koi bhi humse Jaigarh nahi cheen sakta"
