PART 30

Past in Red

She is in coma; these words had been a reality for him since last 2 months. Maan was not allowed to be anywhere near Geet but he would secretly meet her at nights when no one was allowed and he thanked the doctors for it. As days passed, it was getting very difficult for the doctors to handle her pregnancy and just when she was three months pregnant, they had a shock when her heart beat slowed down. Doctors had warned the very day tat it was very difficult of them to save the baby and Geet together as Geet's decreasing heartbeats were directly affecting the baby. Every one from the Handa's and Khuranna's were present tat day but Maan was nowhere to be seen. He was broken the every moment when he was informed tat his Mishti was loosing the battle and their baby would not survive. He did not know wat to do and where to go but his heart took him to the place where he would get his answers. His eyes looked deep at the idols standing on the steps of the Radha-Krishna temple as they refused to go inside while his heart was eager to. He looked in their eyes while his body burnt in the sun whereas his hands bleeding. Everyone who passed him were shocked to see his state while the purohit forced him to come inside but Maan denied everyone and stood staring at the idols asking them to save those two lives tat were dying due to him.

He did not know how long he stood there but he was brought back from his pain by the purohit who had been seeing him standing since long. He slowly handed him a taveez saying " Uski zindagi ki raksha karega yeh. Your sins are not more important for him than her life beta. Jao bacha do apni dono zindagi ko. Rastha aasan nahi hain but you need to fight to get her back. Woh nayi zindagi tumari himmat banegi. She will be the biggest savior in your life and when time comes, she will fight the evil to bring you both back. Jao yaha se.. ushe wapas lao." Maan looked at the Purohit and without wasting any time he ran bare foot towards the hospital. His eyes feared seeing everyone crying holding each other but his heart knew tat she was alive. He did not look at anyone and just barged inside the ICU where the doctors were trying to get her back. They looked at him who was bleeding from head to toe but he did not let tat pain control him. Maan slowly approached Geet lifeless body and the closer he was getting there was a sudden rise in her heart beat. The doctors just stood staring at the monitor tat displayed her heart beats while Maan sat tying the taveez on her hand and the moment he did, he free hands pulled the sheet tat was covering her tummy. He softly traced his fingers on her tummy and soon his lips worshipped the small life tat was residing inside her.

"I know you can hear me.. aap tho aapki Mumma ki Mehar ho na.. than aaj main aapse aapki Mehar maang raha hoon. Get her back.. get my Mishti Back."

He was not able to hold on his weakened body and as a result he fell down panicking the doctors but his hand did not leave her fingers tat were glued to his. The doctors rushed him out of the ICU but to their surprise once again his own families left him all alone to die just waiting to know how was their daughter doing. A few hours passed and their had a relief when the doctors told than tat there was no danger as off now but she was still in coma and they were informed tat they would have to keep her here to monitor her pregnancy from time to time. They only had a hope tat this pregnancy would get her back to life but they was also a danger as to whom they could save. It was not easy for any pregnancy when the women itself was in coma but the Handa's and Khuranna's hired the best of best doctors for Geet.

Few months passed but Geet was still in coma but somewhere the doctors were satisfied with the improvement in her pregnancy. A continuous monitoring helped them to keep the baby healthy but now the major problem was the delivery. They could not wait for any longer and had finally asked the family to sign of the bond stating tat they were not responsible if anything goes wrong. They had earlier to informed them tat it was not easy for her or the baby but where did they know tat their whole life would turn all over again leaving them shattered into pieces tat would hardly bring them back but the moment they got the news tat she had given a birth to a baby girl everything was left behind and the news tat doctors did find some few changes in her health had given them a sense of happiness tat she would be out of coma soon but where did they know tat these changes was much more bad than her being in coma.

Maan was kept away from the baby as the Khuranna and Handa's had finally come to know about Maan meeting Geet every night and now finally Vicky and Yash warned the doctors tat they will sue him but still Maan had tried all his ways to meet her Mehar. He had named her Mehar as she was truly a Mehar for him as the day when he had come to know about her existence he had promised himself tat he will fight for them but it was not easy for him. Yash and Vicky finally took a step to stop him asking him to sign some legal documents.

Vicky: So Mr. Khuranna did you read them.

Maan looked at Vicky and than at Yash who stood watching, him with anger but Maan's anger was more evident than them. He threw the papers on their face tearing them into pieces.

Maan: You know Vicky I cant and will never do it.

Yash: We know but we don't have any other way to keep you away from her. Ishe sign karo and than she will be out of your life after I finally remove her Mangasutra.

Maan looked at Yash and next second he was down on the floor with bleeding lips. Maan pulls him holding his collar while Yash only smirked looking at his anger.

Maan: Woh mar jayegi. Do you even realize wat you said? She will die.

Yash: Abhi kaunsi Zinda hain woh.

Maan punched him again but this time Vicky stopped him pushing him away.

Maan: Vickyyy.

Vicky: Stop Mr. Khuranna… and yes if you don't want to sign these papers than sign this bond. Either one of them.

Maan looked at Vicky and than at the papers but soon his expressions changed after reading it. He tore them and threw it on Vicky who just smiled.

Vicky: It was a copy either sign them or get ready to be arrested. Don't forget Mr. Khuranna tat I still can put your behind bars for trying to kill Geet Khuranna. Yaad hain na it was your car.. aur waise bhi jis Sameera ke liye aapne yeh sab kiya hain she is all ready to prove tat you tried to kill your own wife as you wanted to marry Sameera. Aur aap jaanthe hain ki iski saaza kya hain.

Maan pulled Vicky holding his collar saying: You know its not true.

Vicky: It is Maan Singh Khuranna.. it is.. you tried to kill Geet.. and I have all the proofs with me. The man whom you and Sameera asked to tamper her car breaks but unfortunately he failed your car breaks. I know each and everything now.

Maan: Vicky.. you don't know.. it was Sameera Vicky.. not me.. I never did tat.. you know I love Mishti and I cant stay without her.

Vicky: Ya.. tats why you all planned to kill her the moment you came to know tat Dad forced you to marry her, but you know wat now I came to know tat you used her all the while so tat we could never see your real face. But not anymore either sign them or get ready to face police aur yeh mat samjhana tat being Maan Singh Khuranna you will be free as right now everything is against you. I will make each member of Handa's and Khuranna's to go against you and trust me they will do it.. so now choice is yours.

Maan stood hearing his each word. He knew by now Vicky and Yash could do wat they say and right now even if he says the truth they will not listen, as he don't have any proofs. He looked at Vicky pleading him not to do this but Vicky just gave him last warning and not being able to do anything Maan Singh Khuranna Signed his death bond not before he ask them to name the baby as Mehar.

Vicky: So now as you have signed I will tell you wat it means. As per these papers, you don't have any right on Geet Maan Singh Khuranna though she is still you wife but you don't have any right on her. You are not allowed to meet her nor stay close to her and foremost you are not allowed to see her daughter. You will not ask any rights for being the father nor take any decisions for them. In all they are related to you but you don't have any rights on them or to see them par duniya ki nazar mein she is your wife and your daughter which also means tat you willing agree tat you don't have any right on them and you will not go against any decision the rest of Khuranna's and Handa's take for them. He broke down while Vicky and Yash moved out smiling on their victory unknown tat they had finally killed her Maan.

His eyes cried recollecting the past tat had forced him to sign those papers. He was not scared of being punished but he could not stay away by seeing them and tat was he exactly did. No one knew tat he would secretly see his Mishti and Mehar all these years hiding from everyone and now his family his Mishti and their Mehar were with him but still there was fear in their life. Though Geet had accepted tat Mehar was her baby but he could still see those question in her eyes. He had seen her touching her tummy trying to feel her baby. He looked at both his princess sleeping hugging each other free of all tensions. He slowly slid into the bed taking Mehar on him while Geet snuggled into him soon. it had been 10 days since they were back to KM but still there was not much improvement in Geet. She would not speak anything but just keep staring at Maan and Mehar all the time. It was as if she was trying to think but nothing was coming in her mind and Maan did not say anything but just kept her close to him.

The morning rays disturbed the sleep of the small cute princess who was sleeping on her Dadda. She slowly opened her eyes to see her Mumma almost kissing her Dadda's cheeks in her sleep. She giggled seeing her when a sudden idea stuck in her small brain. She slowly moved out of the bed without disturbing her Mumma and Dadda and slipped out of the room calling out for her Chachu. She knew her Chachu was an early bird like her and so she just ran to the gym and said something to his ears tat made him to grin like a fool. Both walked back to the Maaneet room where Mehar quickly hands Vicky the camera from the cupboard but still Vicky had not seen Maaneet sleeping. Both softly walked only for Vicky to be shocked to see Geet all over Maan while her lips kissing Maan on his neck area. Maan's hand was holding her tight pulling her closer. He closed his eyes seeing their intimate position and turned to go when Mehar pulled him back showing her big Maan Singh Khuranna eyes.

Mehar: Chachtlu.. now.

For a moment Vicky gulped hard seeing her eyes and hearing her tone but he was reluctant to even have a look at his bro and geet.

Mehar: I tell.. Dadda.. see Chachtlu.. photo not taking.. I want Mumma photo wkissing Dadda. See Mumma.. sleeping.. like Mehar baby.. Dadda.. so photo.

Vicky looked at her and he was sure tat she was a true devil like Geet and Maan who were lost somewhere in their childhood. He slowly bends on his knees and said.

Vicky: Princess.. see Mumma and Dadda sleeping na. so how can chachu disturb them. So lets go and play… se we can remove photo later na.

Mehar: Chachtlu. You say no to.. Mehar Maan Sintgh Thuranna.. I tell.. Dadda.. you know. Mehar will.. sthoot you.

Vicky (self talk): Yeh tho Maan Singh Khuranna ki Maa nikali.

Mehar: Chcahtlu.. you photo or not..

She stood placing her hands on her hips just like Maan and a small angry pout of her lips like Geet. Vicky tried to make her understand with his words.

Vicky: Princess..see Dadda will kill Chachu if I remove photo.. you know na Dadda does not like it. so please na.

Mehar (with big eyes): You say No…. wait I tell Dadda to sthoot chachtlu.. chachtlu saying no to Mehar.. wait.. I will tell Dadda.

Mehar turned to go near the bed but Vicky was fast to stop her. He did not want to break their dream and than seeing him here, it would be more embracing for them. He nodded his head for an yes knowing tat he would be finally dead after it. Mehar smiled on her victory showing her teeth's and slowly clapping.

Mehar: See.. all fpear Mehar Maan Sintgh Thuranna.. now chachtlu good.. so Mehar no tell Dadda.

Vicky: Haan ab tho mera band baja baraat nikalega tera baap.

Mehar: Oye.. chachtlu don't tallk. Photo now.. See Mumma Dadda kiss and Dadda Mumma hug.. ok.

Vicky looked at Mehar with his big eyes and than at the sleeping couple. He slowly moved closer praying to the almighty tat he would save him from the danger in which he was moving. He clicked various angle photo's making Mehar happy and finally he dashed out of the room taking Mehar in her arms. Mehar took the camera and ran from one room to another showing everyone how her Mumma-Dadda were sleeping. It was an amazing sight for her to see her Mumma sleeping on Dadda like a small baby and she wanted to show everyone tat her Mumma was just like her. It was a shock for everyone to know how Mehar forced Vicky to click the pictures. Mehar giggled with everyone when she was telling them how they sleep at night, how Dadda hugs her and Mumma, how Mumma sleeps on Dadda and kiss him and all.

Mehar giggled looking at Geet while she comfortably sat on Maan's lap. Geet would never feed her as somewhere her heart was still on her baby in the tummy. Everyone looked at Geet and than at Maan and finally seeing Mehar giggle, they too joined her.

Maan: Mehar Baby.. wats happened. Is something wrong.

Mehar: wkissy.

She said giggling while Vicky shoots a glare to her asking her to stop. Maan and Vicky were still not on talking terms though Vicky finally had got to know the truth behind the accident but still the anger tat he had for Maan was still inside him but more than tat his own deeds were now haunting him nor could he forgive himself neither Maan for wat he did. Mehar looked at Vicky who showed her eyes and she instantly complained to Maan.

Mehar: Dadda.. chachtlu angry.. eyes.. Mehar baby angry eyes.

Maan looked at Vicky and he instantly averted his gaze from him but tat was enough for Maan to know tat something was cooking in between the two. He kissed Mehar on her cheeks while he fed her and this somewhere burnt Geet. Maan though kept her close but she would miss tat love tat he was showering on Mehar. She was told in brief about her loosing her memory after the accident but still she felt tat something was missing.

Maan: Baby… wat did you do.. why chachu giving angry eyes.

Mehar giggled again looking at Geet and than she saw everyone looking at her and shaking their head asking her to keep her mouth shut. She pouted seeing them and complained to Maan again.

Mehar: Dadda.. see.. eveblyone telling.. no.. telling Dadda.. see.. Badi Dadi.. finger lips.. so Mehar Baby.. how.. will say.. tat.. Mumma sleeping.. on Dadda.. like Mehar Baby.. Mumma.. wkissing Dadda.. Dadda.. Mumma hug.

Geet could not understand half of wat Mehar said but Maan he just looked at Mehar and than at Geet. Mehar words made him to realize tat wat she was trying to say and he instantly looked at Vicky showing his eyes who in fear blurted out everything.

Vicky: Mr. Khuranna it was all your daughter who planned it..she said tat she wanted to click yours and Geet's pictures while sleeping and I just obliged her.

"Mr.Khuranna" it pained Geet once again taking her to her life when she was just married to Maan. the realization at tat time about how her Maan was treated in his own house but soon Vicky's next few words made her to jump on Vicky like her old days.

Vicky: So I could not help but witness Geet sleeping on you and kissing your cheeks and throat in her sleep nor could I stop myself from witnessing how tight you held her when she was sleeping on your stomach and here is the camera tat proves everything.

Vicky pulled the camera away tat he was hiding on his chair and before he could give it to Maan, Geet grabbed only to be shocked to see her how she was sleeping on Maan. she looked at Maan and than at everyone and finally her eyes rested on Vicky who was all set to make a run but before he could even run a small distance Geet pushed him on the carpet while she hit him with whatever she could get in her hand.

Geet: how dare you.. haan.. Vicky.. main tumhe zinda nahi chodungi..tumne meri photos click ki bandar.

Vicky tried to move from one side to another trying to save from the Hitler.

Vicky: sweetheart listen.. its not my mistake.. your daughter literally warned me saying tat she will ask her dadda to shoot me.. dekho.. yeh sab teri beti ne kiya hain.

Geet sat on his stomach pulling him by his collar and slapping him on his face.

Geet: Oye..meri beti ko kuch mat keh.. maar dungi main.. I know wat you are and poor my baby you are blaming her.

Maan and others looked at her defending her Mehar and this was the very first time in this 10 days tat she herself spoke so much and said tat Mehar was her baby. Mehar who was sitting on her Dadda's lap ran getting down to support her Mumma. She stood clapping seeing her Chachtlu getting beating from her Mumma.

Vicky: Geet maine kaha na.. yeh sab ish bandaar Mehar ka kaam hain..

Geet: Oye..tu mere beti ko bandaar ka.. ghaddha.. hippo.. bhains.. meri beti ko kuch mat keh.

Vicky: kyu na kahu.. yeh sab kare and I get the beating.

Mehar: Chachtlu telling lie.. Mumma.. chahtlu telling lie.. Mehar baby good na.

Geet looked at Mehar smiling and said.

Geet: Haan Baby.. Mumma knows.. Chachu.. bad.. my princess very good na.. chachu simply telling Mehar baby bad.

Mehar: Haan Mumma.. chachtlu na.. he tell.. tat Mumma kissing Dadda so.. Chachtlu photo.. he na.. he say.. Mehar Baby tell.. than Chachtlu no chocolate to Mehar Baby.

Mehar giggled telling Geet while Geet continued hitting.

Geet: How dare you Vicky.. meri bachi ko dhamki de rahe the.. Haan.. Now I wont leave you. Oye Maan Singh Khuranna waha khade rehkar dekh kya rahe ho.. come here. Did not you hear tat your pidhi sa bhai humari phool jaisi princess ko dhamki de raha hain.

Vicky looked in horror at Geet and than at Maan who himself was still in shock but than his gaze fell on Mehar who was just enjoying and cheering her Mumma.

Mehar: Mumma….maarlo chachtlu maarlo.. Mehar Singth Thuranna ko dhamthi haan… now see Mumma and Dadda shtoot chachtlu.

Vicky: Mumma- Dadda ki bachi main tumhe dekh lunga.

Geet: phir se dhamki … ab tho tum sach mein gaye Vicky.

Geet stood seeing here and there and saw Maan just staring at her. she looked at him in anger and than in spilt seconds she grabbed his hand pulling him and saying.

Geet: yeh body shody kiske liye hain… dekh nahi sakthe kya ki tumara yeh bhai mere bachi ko dhamka raha hain. now use this six pack body.

She pushed Maan on Vicky who just looks at him with pain while Maan's arms were almost hugging him. Maan turns seeing Vicky and says.

Maan: Mishti,, dekh na he is already beaten by you ab aur maarunga tho bechara khada bhi nahi reh payenga. So just leave him na.

Geet: darrte ho kya.

Maan: please na see I will warn him wat say Mehar.

Maan picked Mehar in his arms and looked at Vicky warning him.

Maan: Dekho Vicky, I m warning you once again if you give dhamki for my princess na than I will shoot you.

Mehar (clapping): shtoot him Dadda… chachtlu naughty.

Maan: Haan I will shoot him Princess. See Mishti he is standing with his head down na so now let him go.

Geet: Nahi main nahi jaane dungi. How dare he says all tat to my baby haan.

She pounces on Vicky back who runs for his life. Mehar was enjoying and cheering her Mumma but poor Vicky was by now fully tired and beaten by Geet with whatever she could get in her hand. Maan tried pulling her away but she would just glare him and move and for a second he was happy tat she was back. Soon she sat down getting tired.

Geet: m tired… main aur bhaag nahi sakthi ish hippo ke peeche.

Maan: than who told you to run. Now come on lets have the breakfast.

Geet: par ishne who pictures.. everyone saw me. Maan do I really sleep like tat.

Maan: Haan Mishti par ismein kya baat hain m there na no one will say anything.

Mehar who had been sitting in Maan's lap jumped on Geet kissing her all over while Maan and others just looked at her tat this was the first time she was hugging her daughter in her senses and unknowingly she accepted their baby.

Mehar: Mumma…. Chachtlu crying.. Mumma strong na.

Geet: haan mera bacha Mumma strong.

Geet kissed her cheeks and walked away taking Mehar with her and fed her breakfast while Mehar fed us while others looked at them with tears.

Maan: Dadima I need to tell her everything dadima.

Dadima: Keh de ushe Maan. she needs to know everything.

Shikha: But why now Maa… she has accepted Mehar na than why.

Maan: Nahi Mom Mishti needs to know. Her heart accepts Mehar but her brain rejects it. Right now in a trance she is saying tat Mehar is her baby though even her soul and brain knows it but when she sits alone she tries to feel the baby in her stomach Mom and I need to tell her before anything else happens.

Raj: I just need my doll back Maan I need my both princess to see smiling.

Maan: They will Dad and this is the right time to tell Mishti everything.

Precap: Geet knowing the truth. Will she accept the most dreadful past of hers?
