Chapter 12
The next morning.
Arnav was deep in his sleep around 7.30 in the morning. Dreaming about.. um.. what guys normally dream! But when you have Khushi Kumari Gupta under the same roof, no one can sleep peacefully.
'DHAK DHAK KARNE LAGA.
OH MORA JIAYARA DARNE LAGA
SAIYA BAIYA CHODD NA
KACHHI KALIYA TOD NA
DHAK DHAK KARNE LAGA!'
Arnav jerked open his eyes on listening to the loud music of the song. He again found his alarm clock but suddenly remembered that it was no one except Khushi who must be dancing. He got up, wore his slippers and was about to go to Khushi's room to ask her or order her to stop the music. But he remembered last night's incidence and smiled to himself.
'It's OK. Let her dance.' He said to himself. He opened the drawer and unpacked some cotton and plugged it into his ears. He laid on his bed and slept on one side. He took a pillow and kept it over his exposed ear and slept again.
Khushi suddenly remembered that Arnav must be sleeping. She remembered last night and yesterday's incidence and came near the music player. She lowered the volume uptil only where she could here the music clearly. She smiled to herself and continued with her dancing.
'DIL SE DIL MIL GAYA.
MUJHSE KAISI YEH HAYA.
TU HI MERI DILROOBA
KYA LAGTI HAI WAH RE WAH.
DHAK DHAK KARNE LAGA.'

"He again dropped you to college?" Lavanya asked as Khushi came and sat next to her. Khushi was before time for the class, unlike the last time.
"Lav! You gotta stop sitting next to the window. And college is on his way to work. So he drops me like a good.."
"Boyfriend?" Lavanaya cut in and giggled.
"No! Room mate, I meant."
"You remember, you have to make me meet him."
"Oh yeah. We are going to Delhi Hayat after class. Join us."
"Don't you think you both are hanging out a lot?" Lavanya giggled again. Khushi poked Lavanya on her stomach with her elbow. Lavanya continued, "Oww! Harry is taking me out. But I can't miss this opportunity. Do you mind if I get Harry with me?" she asked.
"No! Why will I? And, plus, Arnav and Harry will meet each other. It's been a long time since I've met Harry."
"Done, then?"
'Done!"

Khushi was waiting on her usual stop for Arnav. As usual, Arnav was late. He drove in within some time and smiled at Khushi. Khushi smiled back. Arnav got out of his car and opened the door for Khushi. As Khushi was about to sit, she said,"Arnav, my best friend Lavanya is joining us with her boyfriend Harry. They want to meet us. Do you mind?"
"Oh. Wow. I mean.. Of course I don't mind. But I thought we both will be alone and.."
"Hiii!" Lavanya screamed and cut in to what Arnav was saying.
Arnav turned around and saw a girl of Khushi's height standing next to a guy Amitabh Bachhan's height. He saw the girl and guessed it to be Lavanya. Standing next to her was a huge, well built guy in a tight black Lee Cooper tee shirt paired with faded blue jeans. He felt that he had seen him somewhere, but he just could not remember where.They both headed towards Arnav and Khushi.
"Hi, Arnav. I'm Lavanya. Khushi's bestfriend." Lavanya said and forwarded her hand for a hand shake. Arnav shook her hand and said,"I'm Arnav. Arnav Singh Raizada." he smiled.
"And he is Harry. My boyfr.."
"I can introduce myself, Lavanya. I'm Harry Bing." He cut in. He sounded rude but then he continued,"I'm her boyfriend. Don't we look good together?'' he asked Arnav and pulled Lavanya towards himself. Lavanya just gave a huge smile.
"You'll definitely do." Arnav said and smiled. He saw Khushi and she gave him a very disappointed look.
"Let's go?" Khushi asked.

Everyone seated themselves at Delhi Hayat. Lavanya sat next to the wall with Harry next to her. Followed by Khushi and Arnav in that order.
Arnav, again like a lost child, scanned through Delhi hayat all over again. He seemed so lost in that place. This did not go unnoticed by Khushi.
"You have that expression whenever we come here, Arnav." Khushi whispered in Arnav's ears. He smiled,"All thanks to you."
Lavanya was busy looking at how Arnav and Khushi would look together, how adorable and all when Harry said,"How do you like this place, honey? We have much better restaurants in Canada."
'No honey. This place is just so beautiful Don't you feel? How can anyone hate this place?" Lavanya chirped.
"Yeah right." Harry said and turned towards Arnav,"So dude, what do you do?"
'Dude? Well, dude, I'm a business man. I have a fashion line coming here."
"Ohh, nice. How did you find Khushi? I mean just look at her. She's beautiful, hot and.."
Suddenly there was a certain awkwardness between them. Lavanya was just looking at Harry and felt a ping of embarrassment. Khushi was looking nowhere in particular and just managed to give a faded smile to Harry. ARnav clenched his hands and he felt his anger boiling up. He said,"Harry, I know Khushi is very beautiful, just like Lavanya. Don't you think?"
"hmmm.." Harry said looking at Lavanya.
They ordered food and Arnav, Khushi and Lavanya mostly gobbled on Indian varieties while Harry ordered Lasagne for himself. He seemed like a shrewd, angry and depressed man to Arnav. Arnav was quite sure that he saw Harry somewhere. But he just was not sure where.
"Dude, I have seen you somewhere." Arnav said. He liked the word 'dude'.
Harry dropped the fork through which he was eating and his mouth was open. This increased Arnav's suspicion.
"Wh.. Where?" harry asked.
"I just don't remember where." Arnav smiled.
"Anyway" Harry said, trying to change the topic," Have you seen Canada?"
"Nope. i just came like two weeks back and no time to see."
"Woa! Then, my friend, let's city tour Canada! What say? Lav, Khushi?"
"That's a great idea, harry! Let's go no! Arnav & Khushi!'' Lavanya said, her faded smile again coming up.
"I don't mind. What about tomorrow?" Khushi asked Arnav.
"Khushi, I have work so I.."
"Then you don't come!" Harry said, trying to take advantage of the situation."I'll take Khushi and Lavanya." He winked at Khushi.
"But when did I say i can't come? I just said I have work. Tomorrow will be greart!'
"Yeeaa!'' Khushi shouted and everyone around them started looking at Khushi.
"Trust her for doing this." Arnav said and everyone laughed.
"So, tomorrow Canada-darshan!'' Everyone except Harry laughed.

Later that night.
Arnav's room.
I was supposed to say NO. I have work. But then, that swine Harry would have taken them. But, so what? They know him since a long time. Why did I feel wrong? But something is really wrong with this Harry. I'm so sure i've seen him somewhere. Oh goodness! I remember! Shiit! Harry Bing! i can't believe this.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Arnav opened the door and found Khushi standing with two cups of coffee.
"One for you." she smiled.
"Khushi, I need to tell you something."Arnav said and pulled Khushi in his room and made her sit on his bed.
"What?" Khushi asked.
Arnav told her everything about Harry. What he had seen, Harry was doing the first time he saw him. He told her everything he remembered. Khushi heard everything cautiously and with keen attention.
"I knew that guy is an ass! I can't believe it."
"Nor can I! But we have to show his real face to Lavanya."
"And tomorrow's the day. We'll do that tomorrow." Khushi smiled.
"Good night." Khushi said and was about to leave his room when Arnav called her from behind,"Khushi?"
"Yes?"
"Nothing. Sweet dreams."
"Good night, Arnav." Khushi said and left the room.
