Chapter Twenty Three

Two days later ...

Arnav hurriedly pursues Khushi and pulls her into a kiss, once reassured that they indeed won't be walked in on by his jijaji ... Like last time, two days ago. Arnav still shudders at the memory of his jijaji's face when he walks onto the two of them and then runs out of the place shouting "Didn't see anything!"

The kisses were soon interspersed with soft moans and a lot of necking. "We're never gonna make it to the bed" Arnav rasps and pushes Khushi into the wall. She rolls her head back, and her eyes sigh into a close as Arnav runs a delicate tongue on the side of her neck.

And then her eyes snap open

Wait a second, did he say BED? But omigosh, beds mean the ... ess word. And the ess word means bacche! Hayye, Arnav ji ke bacche! But then ... what about shaadi?!

"Arnav ji STOP! STOPPIT!"

Khushi's stop immediately reminded Arnav of the traffic sign. Nevertheless, she asked him to stoppit, and so Arnav stoppited. "What happened Khushi?"

Khushi leans in closer, as if she is about to reveal a very embarrassing secret. Arnav's mind starts working into overdrive, as Khushi leans in closer and closer.

What the f**k, does Khushi have some disease which can be sexually transmitted??!!

"What if I get ... pregnant Arnavji?"

Payal walks into the room and frowns at the site of her husband yet not a husband immersed in a file. "Akash?" she calls out, sitting on the arm of his chair.

"Hmm?"

She realizes that her husband isn't paying attention. And like every wife who's faced with a husband making love to his office file, she starts talking.

"I want to have hot kinky sex Akash"

"Hmm... kayy"

"Like the kind which will make me shout Sarita's name"

"Hmm ... kayy"

Payal stifles a giggle. "Thanks" she says saucily, and walks to the cupboard to fetch the bangles her mummy ji wanted.

As she steps out of the room, she is stopped by Akash's suddenly loud voice. "Wait a second Payal, who the hell is Sarita?"

"Akash, I have a serious problem with the wedding"

Akash, deeply pondering on who Sarita was realizes a moment too late he is being shadowed by NK. "Yes, NK. Kya problem hai?"

"Voh Akash, the problem is that in these wedding preparations, we didn't do a bachelors party"

"I'm already married?"

"Last time I checked Akash, you and Payal aren't exactly what they call normal"

"In any case, NK bhai, Dadi ji would have a problem with it"

Akash grinned at the tight loophole he had presented NK with. The girn however, faded the next second when NK opened him mouth. "You know what Nani will have a problem with? When she finds out you and bhabi ji tried to have the suhaag raat without the proper wedding. I mean ... f**k without the rasams? Tsk Tsk naughty babua, what will Nani ji think?"

NK whistles and saunters of jauntily. "A bachelors party for a married man could be nice NK" Akash shouts. NK shouts a celebratory "woot!" as Akash thinks of a way to tame NK down.

"But no exotic dancers"

"Done Akash"

"And no strippers"

"NAANNIII JIII"

"FINE NK, its your life, whatever you wanna do!"

Khushi sits in her sisters room. "Jiji, Arnav ji doesn't want to get married to me."

Payal looks down fondly at her solitaire glimmering on her ring finger and passes a loud grin to Khushi. "Oh don't rub it on my face jiji" Khushi replies, slouching grumpily into herself, her hand firmly attached to her chin.

Payal looks down at the mangalsutra on her neck, its black beads a sharp contrast to her white as milk throat. She looks up at Khushi and passes a wider grin still. "What, are you trying to show off?" comes Khushi's reply, her voice louder than usual.

Payal raises a hand to touch her sindoor. She looks down on it with a glimmer of pride, and passes a yet wider Cheshire cat grin and stifles down a giggle as Khushi clambers off the bed and shouts "FINE! I'll MAKE Arnav ji marry me YOU WAIT AND WATCH"

Payal bursts into a peal of laughter as soon as her sister leaves the room. Nothing like an angry Khushi to finally end this prem kahani of her jeth and behna.

Payal walks sedately to the cupboard. She touches all the sari's, and wonders if it is possible to shop for a new sari tomorrow or maybe day after. She would be the bride's elder sister after all, and a Raizada bahu to the boot. The least she could do was atleast look the part.

Three hours later ...

Akash steps out of the bar, as Payal walks beside him. "Payal it was NK's idea I swear ..."

"Its alright Akash, I know you. It's totally fine. And besides, this is NOTHING compared to what I will be doing at my bachelorette for a married woman party. Talk about me, Sarita and wild"

Akash's jaw drops as Payal smirks at him, if you can imagine can supposed dudh ki dhuli person smirking at you.

"Like they say ... kinky fu ... Devi Maiyya"

As his wife walks forward, Akash realizes that his wife is wearing jeans. Skinny fit jeans.

"Payal?" he calls out to his wife. "What do you mean by Kinky fu ... Devi Maiyya?"

His wife strolls forward, ignoring him. He can only imagine the horrific scenes playing out in his head. With a yelp of dismay and pain, he runs after his wife, all the while shouting "Payal ji!??" "Payal ji!??"

Back at home, a different story was being played. Khushi was standing, in an empty room. Waiting for Arnav to come. Waiting for the all to start rolling. As they said, it was now or never.

I loved the references of the ess word, bache, stoppited...😆
