"main tumse beintehaa(Unlimited) pyar karti hoon Veer, main tumhare liye sab kuch chod dungi, kasam se, doulat shohrat(riches and fame), shaan shoukat mujhe kuch nahi chahiye-" She was cut off when Veer said "agar main tumse kahoon ki tumhara woh pati tumhare saamne khada hai toh(if I say that the man standing in front of you is your husband, then)"

Just then guruji took the pendant from Veer's hands and opened its hidden panel. There was some thing written inside it:

"pothi padhi padhi jag bhua, pandit bhaya na koi,

Dhai akshar prem ke, padhe so pandit hoye"

Meaning:

"you may have read thousands of books but that doesn't mean you know everything,

You might be knowing just the two and half letters of love, and that is everything"

He handed it back to Veer who just about looked like he was going to burst with happiness. "chalo ab yeh haar iske gale me pehnado" Guruji said.

Manyata's brain had frozen and she went pale. Her head reeled and she opened her mouth as if to suck the energy from the air around her.

Veer raised the pendant to put it around her neck. And Manyata stood absolutely still like a mannequin. She didn't react until Veer held her shoulders and shook her. "Manyata, kya hua? Tum theek to ho?" he asked a little alarmed.

"tum'tumhi Udayveer ho, me'ra pati?" Manyata said in a very low voice gathering all her energy. She was having an out of the body experience at the moment.

"tumne jo suna, woh bilkul sahi hai, hum pati-patni hai Manyata, humari shaadi ho chuki hai, ab hume koi alag nahi kar sakta" Veer said securing the pendant in her neck.

Manyata suddenly stood apart; bowed her head and said "main Raj kumari Manyata, pran leti hoon ki main is vivah ka poora samman karungi, mujhe yeh shaadi poorn roop se sweekar hai(I, princess Manyata, hereby vow that I accept this marriage in every sense, and accept you as my husband)"

Veer could think of only one thing; he went forward and joined her soft lips with his hard ones. No one noticed that guruji had disappeared or perhaps it didn't matter.

Manyata threw herself into her darling husband's embrace with as much enthusiasm as she could muster. they might have stood like that for minutes or ages.

Atlast manyata fell short of breath and they had to brreak the kiss. A new thought appeared in her head which changed her happy expression to a sad one.

"Udayveer, maine toh tumhe apna pati maan liya, mujhe tum par khud se zyada yakeen hai, par humare gharwale; kya woh log is baat par yakeen karenge, aur media waale saboot mangenge tab hum kya karenge(sure, I believe in you, in fact more than my self I believe you, but what about our family?)?" Manyata looked so worried.

"hum dobara shaadi karenge princess, poori duniya ko humare pyar ke baare me batadenge, badi dhoom dham se humari shaadi hogi..ab thoda sa muskurado meri jaan" he tried to ease her knitted eyebrows with his finger.

In answer she hugged him back and they started walking out of the forest towards home. Life couldn't have been more beautiful than this.

After what seemed like a long time, they reached home. As they entered, J spotted them and went red with anger. Especially Veer's arm wrapped protectively around Manyata's, infuriated J more. Manyata asked a servant call all the family members for a meeting in the family room.

After 15 minutes everyone had gathered in the family room. The servant wheeled DS into the room and her face was puzzled like everyone else's. 'don't worry DS, from the moment, when I reveal the truth, all your worries will dissipate and you can be happy once again' thought Manyata.

Everyone was looking at her questioningly and she cleared her throat to begin.

Veer squeezed the hand he was still holding as if offering moral support.

"jaisa ki aap sab jaante hain aur maante hain, meri shaadi bachpan me ho chuki hai,ek Raj kumar ke saath; maine aaj tak is baat par yakeen nahi kiya par ab mujhe yakeen ho gaya hai kyon ki'." She paused to gauge their reaction and no one reacted; "kyon ki, maine use dhoond liya, yeh- yeh Veer, yahi Udayveer hai, main sach bol rahi hoon DS, hum sabki aankhon ka taara wapas aagaya!, jaldi se hume newyork phone karna chahiye, Giriraj uncle yeh sunkar kitne khush honge, aur hume-" Brijraj spoke suddenly throwing cold water over her happiness

"kya saboot hai ki tum galat nahi ho? Paise ke liye insaan kuch bhi kar sakta hai; kya pata tum hi jhoot bol rahi ho ek anchahi(unwanted) shaadi se bachne ke liye, main nahi maanta ki yeh Udayveer hai"

"dad, please mera yakeen keejiye, yahi mera pati hai, mera dil kehta hai; DS aap toh boliye na ki aap ko meri baat par vishwas hai" she begged them to come to her defense.

"saari uljhan sulajh jaayegi, jab aap ye sketch dekhenge Maharaj(all things will fall into place, when you see this skecth)" the inspector stood there dangling a brown envelope in his hands. The kind that contains some secret document.

He opened the cover and drew out a sheet of paper. He looked at it for a moment. looked at Veer once and held it up in the air so that all could see.

"yeh sketch us aadmi ne banvaya hai, jo Udayveer ka padosi(neighbor) tha chawl me, is sketch me jis ka chehra(face) hai yahi aap ka khoya hua Raj kumar hai, ise hum bohot jald dhoond nikalenge" the inspector said pointing at the sketch.Manyata unwillingly looked at it; It was the face of an utter stranger.

"wah, kya baat hai! Ek din me do do khushkhabri" Brijraj said sarcastically.

Everyone started speaking at once and it was utter chaos. After 5 minutes DS had had enough and she said "Bas, shaant ho jao sab, humne ek tareeka dhoond liya satya jaan ne ka, agar Manyata ko apne dil par itna hi yakeen hai toh hum DNA test karvayenge; Veer ke DNA ko Giriraj ke DNA se match karvaayenge, results dekhne ke baad saari baatein saaf ho jaayegi(I found a way to extract the truth, we'll get Veer's DNA matched with that of Giriraj's)"

Jainandini who had gone crazy with anger felt a sense of relief. She was sure the DNA report would appear negative and Veer would be hers at the end of the day. Sure he had resisted her attempts but he wasn't totally immune to her charms. She felt smug thinking about that moment at night when she had tried to seduce him.

Giriraj dialled up giriraj in Newyork and told him to drop everything and reach mumbai by next day morning.

There was nothing more to be said and nothing more to be clarified. So everyone went their own way. Manyata was in a state of haze. Her life had taken a 360 degree turn in a single day. First she realizes her true love and then one more truth strikes that he is indeed her husband; then yet again like a jolt from the blue, inspector brings in 'Udayveer's skecth. Was this all even real? She wasn't sure.
