What's the Difference?
What's the difference between the imposter goat and Laxmi? A black spot, no clothes and ears that don't wiggle with happiness. What's the difference between Kushi and Lavanya? A whole lot according to Naniji. Lavanya loses Laxmi and goes to Mami for help. Mami comes up with an imposter goat. The goat has a black spot which they cover with makeup thinking this will do the trick and Nani won't notice. How dumb can you be, girls? Nani loves Laxmi like her own child she knows everything about her, like a mother knows her child. Kushi goes off to find Laxmi and when she does gives her a good scolding. Nai discovers that there is makeup on the goat and reaizes her suspicions are correct this goat is not her Laxmi. She questions and berates Lavanya and Mami who were faning needing a rest and were just about to leave the room. She knew that she can not trust Lavanya, a person that dances to such a vulgar song at an anniversary party. Today she has surpassed all limits. She is not that old that she can not recognize her own goat! Where is her Laxmi? Kushi carries her in just as she asks that question to La. Nani tells La that there is such a difference between her and Kushi. La was trying to pull the wool over her eyes while Kushi played detective. The difference between Lavanya and Kushi is that Kushi then stood up to Nani and said it was all her plan. She protected Lavanya while Lavanya would probably throw her under a bus. She tells Nani she asked Lavanya to take care of the other goat while she was looking for Laxmi. She continues saying Lavanya refused but she kept insisting until she accepted. Kushi says, "It's my fault." Nani wants to be left alone. Everyone leaves but Nani calls Kushi back; she wants to talk to her. She doesn't like people who lie. Kushi apologises. Nani says not the lie about the goat but the lie she is telling to cover for to save Lavanya.
Lavanya can't believe that Kushi stood up for her. Kushi says when everyone praises her for all the good things she is responsible for then why should she not also be responsible for any wrong doings. Her job is to prepare Lavanya for being a good bahu so she and Arnav don't leave the house. Arnav is observing this conversation. So she will do what it takes to get the job done right. Lavanya thanks "Kushi" and shakes her hand. Kushi says now that they are friends Lavanya can call her whatever she likes. La receives a phone call and Kushi turns to face a watching Arnav. His shirt unbutton shows a raw exposed burn to the chest. She looks and feels bad. His pain is her pain especially when she caused it. What's the difference between these two? Right now not so much. They have come to terms with what happened. He actually smiled at her confession earlier. Their glances are more intense. He has a mark on his face and she gestures for him to wipe his cheek, of course he wipes the wrong one. Lavanya then comes over and wipes his cheek possessively. Kushi walks away turning back, their eyes meeting; Lavanya is wiping his cheek while he is watching Kushi. What's the difference between Lavanya and Kushi? Arnav's feelings for one of these girls; the one that he would be stunned over.
What's the difference between a set up and an actual robbery?
Anjali has been prompted by Shyam to wear a necklace which he has stolen and planted in Kushi's bag so she would be accused of stealing and be thrown out of the house, making his life easier. Anjali can't find the necklace and Mami is pointing the finger at Kushi. Kushi says she didn't steal it and mami says she didn't accuse but everyone should reveal what they have in their bags. Mami is reminded by nani to stay within her limits. Lavanya actually stands up for Kushi and Mami wants to know when lavanya changed sides. Anjali says there is no need but Kushi says she doesn't have anything to hide so no problem.
Shyam can't wait for Kushi to be caught. Buaji comes huffing and puffing up the stairs interrupting the phone call he was placing to anjali. He helps her with groceries and gives her a drink of water. She wants to know why he is so happy and smiling because he wants to make sweets for everyone.
Kushi is emptying her bag. Mostly food stuff until she feels something in her hand. She stops, hesitating….
