Part 3

ANJALI AND KUSHI KA MULAAKAATH

Kushi is really tired. The ceremony ended followed with grand dinner. Many father's and pastors blessed her. She lost all her strength and her legs pained a lot. She checked whether the kids went to bed and gave routine medicines for Esther maa and helped buaji in cleaning up the kitchen. She climbed the stairs slowly and went to her room. She was about to close the door when a tiny hands stopped the door. She opened and shocked to see tinky standing with her teddy bear in her arms.

She panicked to see her at this time and led her in.

Kushi: tinky, what are you doing at this hour? You are supposed to go to bed.

Tinky yawned cutely and settled on kushi's bed

Tinky: I want to sleep with you didi.

Kushi checked her forehead if she had any temperature. She asked

Kushi: what happened tinky? Is everything okay?

Tinky smiled and embraced kushi

Tinky: haan didi.bas I want to sleep with you today.

Kushi smiled and pulled from the hug

Kushi: okay tinky sleep with me. Now let me go and fresh. By that time you settle urself okay?

Tinky nodded and kushi left to her shelf to take her night dress.

She realized she took a yellow color one. She took a deep sign. She forgot to remember not to wear any colorful dresses from now. She has to get used to white, light cream and pale biscuit colors. She took her white kurtha and pyjama and headed towards the bathroom.

When she came out, she did not find tinky on the bed. She took a look over and whole room and found the corner door in her room slightly opened. She smiled and saw tinky in her painting room.

Kushi's favorite hobby is painting. In fact she has a small room to paint in which she never allows anyone except tinky.

Tinky saw kushi coming and pointed towards a sketch and asked

Tinky: didi, when did you draw this.

Kushi took the pencil sketch. Tinky felt nothing special in the painting as the sketch is only a pair of eyes. Tinky frowned as asked again

Tinky: bolo naa didi, whose eyes are these? Why did you draw?

Kushi: I don't know tinky. I've dreamt of these eyes two times. So I drew them. They are so beautiful naa?

Tinky did not understand what kushi meant. She scratched her head and replied

Tinky: butiful? My eyes are also same didi see?

Tinky made her eyes wide so that kushi can examine them clearly. Kushi chuckled

Kushi: of course Ur eyes are very beautiful tinky. Now look at these. There is something in the yes. Some kind of pain and coldness hidden.

Tinky: I can't see didi (tinky took the sketch closer to eyes to see)

Kushi smiled at her innocence. She took tinky in her arms and placed on her bed. She put the bed lamp and drifted to sleep beside tinky hoping well for her new life.

Raizada Mansion

Arnav is constantly stirring in sleep for the past one hour. When he closes his eyes, he sees the images of the girl he saw in the morning. In fact he dreamed about her when di asked him to close his eyes. Anjali made fun of him saying he is also falling in love? Wait love? Never

He turned to the other side of the bed and tried to get some sleep but no. the same images again and again flashing in his mind. There's some kind of peace in his heart after seeing her. There's some magic. An unknown smile appeared on his face when he realized what he is doing. No'he can't open himself and get doomed again. He firmly decided not to think of her and closed his eyes erasing all the images and drifted to sleep.

Next Morning

It was the last examination for tinky and the other kids. After that they are gonna have vacation for nearly one and a half month. Kushi took all the kids to the school to drop'em off.

They prayed together one last time for their exams.

Kushi: tinky, write well okay.

Tinky: yes didi we prayed naa god will defntly help us

All the kids nodded along with tinky. Kushi bid goodbye to everyone and left the place. She then remembered that buaji asked her to get vegetables. She took an auto for the market.

Here, at the same time anjali came to sabji market along with H.P

h.p: anjali betiya, if arnav babu knows you came along with me he will kill me

Anjali: koi baat nahi h.p ji. I'm feeling bored at home. I want to come out. And don't worry chote will not know

H.p frowned but led anjali. She already felt dizzy in the morning. Imagining Arnav's reaction seeing anjali there he gulped down in here and proceeded to the sabji market.

Kushi's hands were full of all the bags of sabji. She did not bring anyone along with her. Balancing all the bags she walked and suddenly tripped but she felt some soft hands not allowing her to fall.

She raised her eyes and sees a pretty woman with slightly swollen belly, with a sweet smile and gesture.

"Must be pregnant" she thought

The lady helped kushi to settle and took some bags in her hand. She had a pretty face and looked beautiful with bangles in her hand. She smiled pleasantly. Kushi smiled back.

Anjali observed the girl. She looked so innocent and simple without any ornaments. She saw thin silver chain with a small cross. She wore pure white dress with semi full hand sleeves dress.

Kushi: shukriya.

Anjali: koi baat nahi. You are carrying these alone. Didn't anyone come with you? You need any help?

Kushi smiled at her warmth and replied

Kushi: nahi, ham sambhalenge. Mg god gives you all happiness in the world.

Anjali smiled back. She had strange feeling that they are connected and will meet again. Anji smiled to herself and made her way, then she felt something wrong with her. She still managed to walk holding her head dizzily.

Kushi walked forward when she remembered to but potatoes. She walked back balancing all the stuff when she saw the crowd surrounding in one spot. Many gasps filled the place. She made her way into the crow and saw the same lady unconscious.

She immediately left all the bags and ran to her and held anji's head in her lap. She saw a short middle aged man running towards the same lady. She heard him shouting

H.p: anjali betiya, anjali betiya '.open your eyes

H.p panicked. They brought water and sprinkled on the lady's face but no use. Kushi became worried.she asked H.P

Kushi: do you know her uncle ji?

H.P: yes bitya, I work for her.

H.Pi: Okay we will take her to the hospital.

KUSHI: no there's lot of traffic now, we can't go. WHERE IS UR HOME? she may have personal doc right?

h.p thought that she was correct. It's impossible to go to hospital in this heavy traffic. They carried anjali carefully to the car.

h.p: shukriya betiya. I will take care

But kushi interrupted him. She didn't feel good to let an unconscious pregnant woman to go alone with these guys. She decided to drop her near her home.

Kushi: nahi uncle ji. I will come along with you all.

There's no time for h.p to argue. He led her into the car. He was so tensed and terror stricken. He is going to be a meal to arnav babua's anger tonight.

Raizada Entrance Gate.

Kushi was shocked to see the house. Well, it's not a house but a big mansion. When the car entered into the gates she saw a couple running towards them. The car came to the halt.

Aakash and payal came running to anjali. They did not inform arnav as he is in a meeting. They decided to manage anjali before arnav comes to know. The family was at the gate.

They took anjali inside. No one cared about kushi or how she helped them. Worriedly everyone left with anjali. Kushi did not feel bad. They loved her so much. What if she and all the kids have a family like that. Kushi felt the lady to be so lucky for a family like that. She silently made her way to leave when she heard a voice behind her

It was the driver of the car

Mohan: madam ji Aap andhar aajayiye.

Kushi: aree no bhaiyya. I will go. I cannot let her alone in the car. So I came along with you.

Mohan liked her simplicity and offered her to drop at least at her home. Kushi couldn't reject and got into the car.

She directed the ways to the hope orphanage. Mohan was shocked when she asked him to stop the car before the orphanage. He hesitantly asked her

Mohan: madam ji, ye Aap ka ghar?

Kushi smiled and replied

Kushi: haan ye mera ghar. Thank you so much

Mohan: aree why thank you? You helped our anjali betiya. Can't I drop you until here?

Kushi smiled and left inside the orphanage

R.M

Arnav barged into di's room to find her having milk. Aakash tried to reason him for not informing about anjali dizzy scene. Arnav shot an angry glare at him making aakash bow his head down. He went and sat near anjali. Even she is silent, she knows volcano is gonna burst now. She tried to smile at him but his angry face made her numb. He controlled how much he can and asked in soft tone

Arnav: di, why the hell you went the market.

Anjali kept biting her nails and made a puppy face at him. He gave a not again look to her

Arnav: your puppy face won't help you now di, answer my question. Why did you GO?

He concentrated on the last word.

Anjali: who 'cchote..woh kaya ?are haan, yaad agai, I was feeling so bored in home. I'm fed up of watching TV and listening music'and nani and all went out some function'so I thought

Arnav interrupted her words

Arnav: so you thought you can grant leave to all the workers in home and buy all the vegetables. Right?

Anjali nodded her head in negative manner. Arnav looked at his di who is a kid by herself. He slowly took her hands in his.

Arnav: Di please tries to understand. Your b.p levels are low and you are anemic. I'm not restricting you to go out. Just inform or take anyone with you. I know, you took hari parkas but what can he do. If you want to go out we both can go anytime. But if u go alone and something happens to you then..

Anjali covered his moth with her hand. She smiled with tears thanking god forgiving her chote who takes care of her more than his life. Arnav was about to say something again she pressed her hand again. She nodded gesturing him not to say anything.

She silently hugged her brother feeling the warmth of the cold heart he displays out.

She silently whispered

Anjali: nothing happened to me chote. And nothing will happen in the future. You are there naa with me. Just I felt a bit dizzy. I'm fine now. If that girl did not bring home by time and wouldn't call the doctor I don't know what will happen.

Arnav frowned and pulled back from the hug.

Arnav: which girl di.

Anji realized what she said and remembered some girl holding her head in lap and sprinkling water. After that she did not remember anything.

Anjali: don't know chote. Some girl helped me..I don't remember..May be h.p knew.

Arnav: okay di forget it you are fine now and that's the most important now.

Anjali gave him a serious look.

Anjali: how can you say like that chote? If she is not there then what would I have done? When someone helps us we need at least to thank them right? Is this what I taught you?

Arnav sighed thinking that lecture has started again. He rolled his eyes and saw her in an unbelievable look.

Arnav: ha okay di. But we don't know where she stays. So leave it

Payal: no di, in fact she came until here to drop you but

Anjali: what? She came here? Why didn't you let her in?

Aakash: we were worried for you di and we didn't notice her.

Anjali felt bad for not even thanking her. May be Mohan or hari parkas knew who she is, at least her name. Meanwhile hariparkash came with juice.

Anjali: h.p ji, did you know the girl who helped us.

h.p: haan didi. But she left when we took you in the home. But Mohan dropped her back at her home

Anjali: acha do you know the address? I will go to thank her.

Arnav: di please listens. You are still weak. We will go later. First, what's the need of going? If we meet her again then we will thank her.

Anjali folded her hands across her chest and sat firmly, arnav knew, if his di wants something even her bhagwaan can't refuse. She is so stubborn like him. its him who have to always give.

He took a deep breath and said

Arnav: okay okay. We will go

Anjali's pouted angry face changed into radiant smile..

But'he added at the end of his words. Anjali narrowed her eyes with curiosity to know her chote's condition .arnav pointed towards the plate and all the eating stuff with medicines. anjali know she cant make any excuses now. She silently nodded her head cutley.arnav smiled at her and asked hari prakash.

Arnav: by the way h.p , did mohan tell you where he dropped her?

h.p thought a while and replied

h.p: haan arnav babua, some orphanage'what name is it? Haan HHope orphanage. He dropped her there.

Anjali and arnav looked at each other wondering about the girl and the orphanage
