CHAPTER 8: THE DEVIL'S PLAN!
For the next few days after the wedding, Mannaro were getting ready for their honeymoon.
Suvi:"What are you guys doing at the cafe?! Shouldn't you guys be at your honeymoon?"
Mannu:"We just wanted to see you guys before we left and thank all of you, Specially Suvreen."
Naro:"If it wasn't because of your words.. We wouldn't have made it."
Suvi:"Stop it, you r going to make me cry..I Really love you guys.. And have an awesome time at your honeymoon."
Rathi:"I want to go on a honeymoon too yaar."
Annie walked out from behind the counter and shouted.
Annie:"Get married then!.. Marry Suvreen! She's still available!"
Rathi looked at Annie with a shocking face...
Rathi:"She's just kidding Suvreen... Don't take it serious, we're just friends." trying to hide his blushing face...☺️
Alisha walked through the front door while everyone was still laughing at Annie's little joke.
Alisha:"Are all of you busy?"
Rathi:"Did you need something?Mannu is already married."
Suvi:"Stop that!" Suvi smacked his shoulders and walked up to Alisha."Can I help you?"
Alisha:"I just wanted to say thank you for..umm.."
Suvi:"Its okay.. No problem."
Alisha:"Oh and I'm here for Mannu and Naro."Alisha took out a box from her bag. "I haven't gave you guys your wedding gift yet." she smiled. "Congrats.. I hope there's no hard feelings."
Naro:"Course not..Thank you."
Mannu:"We're going to get going now. Bye everyone!"
Everyone waved as the newlyweds left the cafe. Alisha was going to leave as well, but Suvreen asked her to stay and try some dessert.
Alisha:"What is this? Its so good.." Alisha Stuffing her self with the cake.
Suvi:"It's chocolate cheese cake.I was going to make it for Zorro when he comes.."
Alisha:"Then I shouldn't eat it.."
Suvi:"don't care about him.. He's late."
Zorro popped in
Zorro:"I'm what?! Where's my cake?"
Suvi:"I thought you weren't coming since your so late!"
Zorro:"Its cake! Come on, like I'd give up my cheese cake."
Suvi:"Sit down, I'll go get it.Meet Alisha, you remember her right? Keep her company.. I'll be back Alisha." she smiled and walked back.
Zorro:"Hi...Are you feeling better now?"
Alisha:"Much, thank you."
Zorro:"That cake looks good. "He teased.
Alisha:"Oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't know it was yours."
Zorro:"Its fine. I'm a nice person." he winked. "Sharing is caring."
Suvi:"Okay I'm back!" handed Zorro his cake.
Alisha:"Oh Suvreen..Yuvi..told me to send this to Rathi and Zorro."
Rathi:"What?..for us?"
He took the paper that was handed to him and read it. After reading it, Suvreen noticed his expression changing into a worried look.
Suvi:"What's wrong Rathi?"
Rathi:"He said he's going to close this place down'"
Suvi:"WHAT?! But he cant do that!What is he thinking?!"
Alisha:"Oh and he also said that he wants you to meet him..Suvreen...Here's his work address.. "
Suvreen took the card from Alisha and left the shop. She got into her BMW and left with anger.
When she got into his office,she opened the door and there is nobody in the office.
Suvreen turn back around, Yuvi was already right in her face.
Yuvi:"Can I help you?" he smirk.
She looked at him and she saw he was rubbing his eyes bcoz of irritation.
Suvi:"Stop rubbing ur eyes!..ur gonna go blind rubbing ur eyes like that!"
Suvi grabbed his hand to stop him from rubbing his eye and she start checking his eyes.She blew his eyes and clear the dirt away from his eyes...
Suvi:"Done...okay now?"
Yuvi is lost in his thoughts and his eyes keep staring at her face.Suvreen was shocked by her actions while her face is turning red...
Yuvi: "Its fine now..urmm...You might want to calm down before your cheeks get any more red." he teased.
She felt her face that was burning now and covered it.
Suvi:"Next time buy yourself some eyedrops!" she replied.
Yuvi:"Next time...i'll come to u.."*he gave his playboy smirk
Her face was filled with anger as she wanted to slap him, but the thought of the cafe being in his hands stopped her. She threw the pack of papers on his desk and stared at him.
Suvi:"What's the meaning of this?"
Yuvi:"It already says it in there.. With specific details..I'm going to close down the cafe"
Suvi:"But you cant!"
Yuvi:"Why not? The land is under my name, I can do anything I want with it.I was thinking about building an office Or I can sell it."
Suvi:"If your going to sell it.. I'll buy it off of you."
Yuvi:"Sell it to you?" he grinned.
Suvi:"Just name your price, I'll buy it."
Yuvi:"What if its beyond expensive? More than money can buy."
Suvi:"Just tell me what you want..!"
He sat down on his chair, gazed at her up and down and laid back on his chair.
Yuvi:"You.."
Suvi:"What?"
Yuvi""You heard me, I want you.." he smirked.
Suvi:"No really, stop playing, just tell me how much you want and we can get on with our own lives."
Yuvi:"You asked me to name my price and I named it.I want Suvreen Guggal and no other tricks involve, I want you."
She stared him with death glares as if she was going to run over there and tear him up into pieces.
Suvi:"What sick games are you playing? This is too low, even for you."
Yuvi:"So is it a deal or not?"
Suvi:"I don't make deals with the devil."
He laughed at her little comment and left his chair walking towards her.
Yuvi:"Okay, but I'm going to remind you, this time, my mom isn't going to protect that place anymore so you can forget about asking her. But Don't worry, You're the daughter of Mr. Baldev Guggal, I won't embarrass you."
he paused for a bit.
Yuvi:"Marry me." (😲😲😲)
Suvreen widen her eyes in shocked...
Suvi:"Aren't you afraid that I might end up killing you?"😡
Yuvi:"That's what makes it fun.. didn't you call me the devil? Its impossible for me to die."
She thought about it for a long time, but she still couldn't find any other way to help the cafe and not marry this devil.
Yuvi:"You don't have to answer me today..I'll give you 3 days.. But in 3 days, if I don't get an answer, I will automatically close that place down. Then whether you agree or not, it'll be too late."
Suvreen walked out getting ready to leave but..
Yuvi:"Wait!"
Suvi:"What now Mr. Yuvraj Singh?.. You found some other cruel jokes to play?"
Yuvi:"I just wanted to say thank you for helping Alisha" he said innocently.
She put on her sarcastic smile and nodded. "Your amazing Yuvraj Singh."
Yuvi waved his fingers at her and smiled. "Good day my lady!." he mocked
After having a day's worth of headache, Suvreen gave up and went back home..
Rehan:"Suvi,what happen?"
Suvi:"Bhaiya..I don't want to talk about it.."
Rehan:"Come on, explain to me.. I'll try to help.."
She sighed and sat him down, about 15 minutes later, after explaining every little detail to Rehan.. All she got was laughter.
Suvi:"Shut up this isn't funny!"
Rehan:"He got you good!"
Suvi:"this is stupid, he's stupid, this whole world is stupid!"
Rehan:"Why don't you just give up the place?"
Suvi:"I don't want the cafe to close down.. And most importantly.. Because of me!I have nowhere else to turn."
Rehan:"Seems like my adorable, cute, witty little sister is being cornered."
She sighed at her bro's comment and walked up to her room..
"Why are people trying so hard to make my life miserable?" she asked herself right before jumping on her warm, cozy, bed.. "the one place that made me happy, fulfilled me with warmth, is being taken away.." she sighed once more.. "Suvreen Guggal, what are you going to do?"
