"You are so sweet Myra…" Khushi stood in her kitchen as she imitated Arnav in a hysterical way.
"Sweet my foot…" Khushi said in her own normal tone.
"He is such a flirt!!" Khushi heaved as she threw the cups into the sink careful enough not to break.
Unknown to her, Arnav had been a silent spectator to her self- conversation all along. He couldn't help but smirk.
"Umm.. Khush.. what are ur plans today?"
Khushi stopped washing the cups midways as she heard his husky voice from behind.
She turned around to see him standing there with the sidewall supporting his shoulders. For a second Khushi felt her breath hitch. Snatching out of her reverie, she answered.
"Nothing yet Doc… whats up with you?"
"I am actually planning to take Ms. Khushi Gupta on a day out and show her NYC."
Khushi eyes bulged on the words he had said. She had always wanted to see the place. Not that she hadn't seen cities like this.
"Are u serious? What about the hosp?" Khushi asked.
"That's alright… Myra will take care of everything.
After a long time, Khushi felt happy that Arnav had Myra with him. She was finally of some use.
"Go get ready Gupta!!" Arnav told her as a laugh escaped him.
Khushi ran past him like a small child and went into her room to get ready.
He waited for in the living room. A smile curved up his lips. He was finally in love.
Voila!!! He was in love. So was hatched all the plan along with Myra. And as far he had learnt that stupid psychology the reaction he had got for the morning scene was quite a positive one. And he wanted to proceed and give it a try.
A little while later Khushi walked out of the room wearing a grey knee-length romper and a sleeveless blue colored top hugging her curves perfectly.
"Wow!! Someone's looking gorgeous!" She heard him say.
"Umm… uh Thank u…" She said trying to hide the blush on her face.
He could see her flush at the simple compliment. He was loving the effect he was having on her.
"Lets go!!!"

He drove her to a place which was one of the best places she had ever seen. They were at the Central Park. He stopped the car a little ahead of the park.
"What happened? Gaadi kyu rok di?"
"You'll see… get down…"
She said as she was told. The two walked upto the park.
"Wow!!" was the only word that escaped her mouth.
"I know… Come.." he said as he held her hand and walked into the park.
Khushi was loving this place. The sight infront of her with kids running around and people riding bicycles was totally cool.
"I wanna ride one of those…" she said as she pointed to a guy riding a bicycle.
Arnav looked in the direction and smiled.
"You already have it Khush…" and pushed a bike to her side.
"Nothing is better than going round CP on a bicycle!" he said as the two got onto the bike and drove off.
They rode for a good time of an hour as Arnav saw Khushi talking, laughing and chatting away happily. Suddenly that faint line of unhappiness was gone. She looked much better this way. Her brown glowed in the sunlight.
"Arnav…" She said as she halted and turned around. But he was nowhere to be found. Panic overtook her as her eyes scanned the park for him.
And then she saw him, standing by a hot-dog stall. She sighed in relief and rode towards him.
"What the hell are u doing?"
"I am weewig hoggog…" he muffled.
"Don't talk with that food in your mouth!"
He swallowed the bite and answered.
"I am eating hot-dog Khushi!!"
"You are impossible Arnav… so you left me all alone?" she asked.
"I am sorry yaar. Have this…" he offered a hot-dog.
She looked at the guy standing in front of her. He was crazy, there was no doubt in that. She rolled her eyes in exasperation and snatched the hot-dog from him and took a bite.
"Mmm!! Heaven!!"
"I told ya… Hot-Dogs ki jai ho!" Arnav said as he punched his hand in the air.
Khushi let out a laugh as she saw him. Life was so fun. Where had he been for so long in her life? Was this it? Was he the one?
The answers remained unknown. Atleast to her.

"So where next Doc?" she asked as the two settled on the grass after a tiring bike ride.
"lets see… where do u wanna go?" he asked.
Khushi looked at her watch and answered, " I am hungry Doc…"
"But u just had Hot-dog!!"
"That was like years ago! I am hngry… Take me somewhere!!" she said.
"Accha theek hai! Now get up!" he said as he stood up and signaled her to do the same.
"I cant yaar… I am too tired!" she said.
He walked upto her her, knelt down beside her and lifted her in his arms. She was way too shocked to react. Her one hand automatically circled his neck as the other one held the coller of his tee.
He carried her effortlessly and placed her on the passenger seat in the car. He tried to pull away when he saw that she was holding on to his tee. A smirk lit up his face.
"If u don't mind… can I have my tee back?"
An embarrassed Khushi let go of him and turned away, way too shocked at her own act.
Arnav shut the door behind him and got in to the car as the two drove off to a restaurant.
Once again Khushi was dumb found at her own behavior.
What the hell is happening to me?
Why did his proximity affect me so much?
Why do I feel so safe when he's around?
Why is it so beautiful with him?
And then something hit her.
Shit!!! Am I in love?
She turned to his side and looked at him. She didn't know if this was possible.
A smile curved up her lips but the next moment faded away when the fear of being hurt swept into her. she looked away from him.
I cant go through it again… I am sorry Arnav..
This sudden change in her mood didn't go unnoticed by Arnav. He knew what was troubling her, didn't he?
Khushi… I promise.. I'll never hurt u. Just give it a try…
He wanted to hold her and let her know that he was there. Always.
To accept her.
Just as she was….
