PART 71

It was night Angle was sleeping peacefully, but Geet was very disturbed, she did not want to leave Angle, and what she did not admit was that she did not want to leave Maan, the way he was behaving lately, she had become very insecure, she wanted to tell him that how much she loves him, but there was something in him that did not give her courage to tell him.

She covered her daughter with a spread and stepped out in the balcony. She was feeling suffocated and needed fresh air.

Maan on the other hand was also feeling bad, he was shocked with the idea that Geet will go away for a whole year, he will miss her, and how will he live without her. His mornings started with her continuous talks and nights ended with her smiling eyes. Her laughter made him feel alive; the chiming of her anklets filled his ears with peace; in these 4 years she has become a part of his life. She of his love, though he never admitted it in front of her.

He was feeling restless, after so many days, weeks, months or say years he had a strong urge to go to the gym and sooth his pain with a tough round of Tai Chi. He silently slipped to the outhouse and changed in his tracks and black vest {hai missing this MSK}

She was standing in the balcony; {if you remember her balcony faces the outhouse} she was surprised to see lights on in the outhouse, at first she ignored but then she noticed a slight movement in the green room {room attached to the gym for changing} she frowned and looked intently and saw a profile, she was sure it belonged to his man, she went inside the room, looked at Angle and kissed her forehead, wore her slippers and went out of the room closing the door slightly.

While she was descending the steps she found DM sitting in her room, she first hesitated and then went to the older lady.

G: DM, you still awake

DM: you also are not sleeping

G: I am a little restless

DM: so am I

G: why?

DM: you are a part of our life now, will I not miss you?

G: you definitely will DM, I never doubted

DM: you will have to leave a day after tomorrow

G: so soon

DM: sooner the better (you need to go away from that stupid grandson of mine, then only he will realize what you are for him she thought)

G: why DM? You sound as if you want to get rid of me.

DM: Jhalli, don't ever think so, the sooner you will join the sooner your training will be done

G: sorry

DM: it's ok, now listen carefully, tomorrow you will go for shopping, I will not be able to accompany you

G: why shopping? What do I need to buy? I already have everything

DM: yes I know you have everything, but still I want you to buy a whole new wardrobe for your new beginning

G: new beginning??

DM: look, Geet, you lived in HSPur, then 4 years back you came to Delhi, now after so many years you are going, first you had your parents, then you had us, but now all will be new for you

G (interrupting): there I will have Arjun Bhai, I will not be alone

DM: yes, but still you will learn many things there, travelling alone, making decisions on your own, for the first time you will enjoy freedom. I know Arjun, he will not interfere in your life as we do. Listen first, he will only correct you when you will be wrong, all decisions will be yours solely.

G: OK whatever, then why will you not accompany me tomorrow

DM: because I want Maan to take you

G (shocked): why???

DM: tell me one thing truthfully

G: what

DM: what do you think about him?

G: he is very nice, caring, understanding, helpful, polite, sometimes gets angry, loves Angle to cores, respectful, honest, hardworking

DM: OK, lots and lots of qualities, but what I want to ask you is,

G: IS

DM: in Angle's birth certificate, he agreed to write his name as her father, and you are her mother, so you both are her parents, and normally parents are married couple (Geet tried to say something but DM pointed her to be quite) so do you want her parents should also be normal married couple

G (shocked and her eyes welled with tears): but DM this can not happen, how can I get married to him, NO, this is next to impossible

DM: why?

G: first eh does not love me, and second I am not worth him, he is a shining star and I am nothing but a particle of dust staining his feet.

She did not wait for DM to say and left the room.

how ever much she loves him, she knows that he is a big name, and he deserves to get someone who is worth him, she still does not think that she is capable for him
don't panic girls just think, he is her savior and she loves him worships him
