So initially i was confused as to what was going on..i couldn't believe our Arjuhi could separate! Slowly I got that it was Arjun's plan but no-where in my wildest of dreams did i think that Arohi could be involved too!😲😆 Sheets u know u are at par with the Balaji writers!! You convinced us to believe in something we never thought could happen!😆

Ok going back to before their re-union happened..i absolutely loved all their encounters I could feel it all happening in front of me..as in the episodes rather than reading an FF.. I love how all the characters were intact..even after the whole roller-coaster ride everything fell in place..every action justified..i loved it!

That night when Arjun was in the cottage alone..n Arohi was also out mujhe laga she'd meet him of that sorts but i thought accidentally hoga..but then kuch nahi hua tha...Arjun prolly was awake all night waiting for his Dushman to attack..but no one turned up! Then later on as Arjun was thinking back to that night sitting in the office mujhe laga kuch gadbad hogi but i did not think it could've been Arohi at first...later mujhe doubt toh hua.. but the pregnancy thing was a pleasant surprise!😃 i couldnt connect back to that day from the news..i thought kuch aur baat hogi..maine socha may be usse pehle hua hoga😉 But wow!!😲 Arohi took me by surprise!! U did!! ye dono ka mutual planning tha!!😲 Damnnn i loved that Arohi!!

The shock and confused expressions on Sudhir's face made my dayand Amrit🤣 always in character!!😭😆
I like how Rajveer is supportive..I'd thought since day one that he would be the one to go against his dad n support Arohi when it came to Arjun..but in the show that never happened!
I looove...DJ..beautifully written...missed her in KMH2 towards the end!😡 However i dint understand that if she believes Arohi can never lie then why wouldn't she support Arohi when she was telling everyone Arjun did not shoot KSA?

Karan-wasnt he supposed to be a positive character?😕 reading the comments he seems to be playing a negative character only! Is he wit Natasha or Gauri? If he is Arohi's childhood friend then he would be knowing Gauri also..🤔may be..
Gauri so far seems genuine but cant trust her! and i feel that short woman in the cctv footage at arjun's cottage could be Gauri as she was also released from jail that night or before!

I cant relate with Rashi-Rajveer love story for some reason! and that person informing Michael of Rashi's whereabouts could be Jignesh?🤔

Part 50

Arohi was getting frustrated now! She knew… or rather hoped that Arjun will keep his promise. But she had been totally unprepared for this extremely supportive… understanding… BORING HUSBAND!!! She had been waiting for Arjun to crack, waiting for him to run out of patience and tell her to get over her act and talk to him normally. It had been almost a week since they had even made love! Arjun had approached her once and she had asked for time till she is ready to forgive him and he agreed… HE AGREED!!! What was wrong with him?! Ever since he had not even tried to kiss her… atleast not the way he used to before. And Arohi missed that. But this stupid idiot monster didn't even know how to manao his wife… hmmphh!

She had not missed Arjuns frown when she had taken Karans name on the phone. Finally she got a reaction out of him! Arjun had not reacted so during the week. And she was glad that he had not. But she felt like getting Karan in front of him just to shake him up. Arohi was not the types to play any games, but she was genuinely upset with Arjun and had wanted him to woo her. The only problem was he was not wooing her the way she wanted to be wooed!

Silence prevailed in the car for the rest of the ride as both of them fumed over different reasons in their own seats.

Dinner with the Singhanias was an equally quiet affair.

"Wheres Rashi?" Arohi asked dadi at the dinner table.

"Puttar usska na koi mela tha doston ka… ussme gayi hai." Dadi replied eating her food.

"Dadi… usse mela nahi… reunion kehte hai. Bhabhi, aaj di ke batch ka reunion hai unke college mein, waha gayi hai." Romit spoke up.

"Itni raat ko? How will she come back?" Arjun frowned at Romit, as if it was his fault.

Dadi arched her eyebrows at Arjun. "Roz kaise aati hai? Driver ke saath. Tu toh aise gal karraha hai jaise tu usse roz pick up karne jaata hai… jaise apni voti ko lene jaata hai…hein?!!"

Arjun flushed and Arohi blushed. Romit smiled knowingly at Raj and he chuckled. Arjun shot them both a look and they stopped smiling and continued their dinner.

"Waise bro… I think it is very romantic… ke aap roz bhabhi ko pick up karne jaate ho! Meri shaadi hogi na, toh mein bhi apni wife ko pick up karne jaaunga." Romit smiled and he started dreaming about picking up Shefali on his bike and riding across the stars and the moon.

But dadis harsh tone got him back to earth. "Tu pehle padhai kar… nalayak! Padh likhke kuch ban taaki koi tujhe shaadi karne ke laayak samjhey! Khotta… exams mein fail horaha hai aur chala shaadi karne…"

Arjun entered the room 30 minutes after Arohi had finished dinner and gone up. It had been 7 days since he had suffered this vanvaas and now was the time to end it. He saw Arohi talk to someone on the phone seriously. She looked at Arjun and turned back to her call.

"Hmm. Thik hai. Mein kal baat karti hu… Yes, don't worry… I will see… Ok. Goodnight."

Arjun locked the door and went to his wife. "Kiska phone tha?"

"Kisika nahi." Arohi went around Arjun, put her phone on charge and opened her cupboard to change for the night.

Arjun felt his blood boil as Arohi went in the washroom to change. Why wouldn't she tell him? Was it Karan? Maynot be… she had spoken to him in the car and she had not hidden it from Arjun. So then, was it someone from her house? It maybe just Shefali and he was worrying over nothing. But that's because she wouldn't tell him! Yet again remembering his promise, Arjun changed his clothes to distract himself.

He cornered Arohi as soon as she came out. Arohi stared wide-eyed at her husband, unable to understand his motives. Arjun smiled and caressed her face with his mischievious eyes. Placing his forehead against hers, he held her in place by holding her waist. Arohi closed her eyes as pleasure shot through her.

Arjun smiled. He brushed his knuckles over her cheeks and a shiver ran through Arohis body. She looked scrubbed clean, fresh and bright like a flower. Arjun inhaled her scent and placed a soft kiss on her cheek, then her nose and finally her lips. It was the most sweetest and delicate kisses that he had ever given her, which exhilarated her and made her ask for more.

Arohi relaxed under his expert lips and moved her hands behind, on his back scrunching up his tshirt in her fists. Arjun pushed himself more on her, crushing her to the wall but his lips stayed soft and fleeting, tightly closed and just feeling hers. Arohi pulled Arjun more on her with her hands and she opened her mouth to deepen the kiss.

A shot of desire ran through Arjun as he realised that Arohi wanted him. Without breaking the kiss, Arjun picked her up in his arms and laid her down on the bed. Covering the top half of her body with his, Arjun finally opened his mouth to kiss his wife the way he wanted from the past seven days. Arohis finger wove themselves through Arjuns hairs and she pulled at them. Arjun bit her lip in response and sotthed it immediately with his tongue. Arohi started writhing under him as she got restless and wanted to feel more. When Arjun was about to pull his t-shirt above his head, he heard a knock on his door.

'No.. no… not now!' his mind screamed.

He lifted a finger in front of Arohis eyes and told her "Stay." Dimming the lights of the room, Arjun opened the door halfway and saw his son, standing with his favourite toy in one hand and a book in the other.

"Thanks Raj. But aaj mein manage karlunga. Tum dadi ke paas so jaao."

Arjun shut the door on Raj's face before he could respond. Raj frowned and was about to turn around when the door opened again and Arjun bend down to place a quick wet kiss on his sons cheek.

"Thanks buddy." Arjun winked at him and shut the door again.

Raj smiled, shrugged his shoulders and went to dadis room to sleep.

Rashi had her food quietly. She could not eat much as she did not feel like. Her eyes kept darting to the entrance hoping that Rajveer would come. She had not visualised him to enter like a hindi movie hero, singing a song for her, or saving her from falling down, or rescue her like a 'abla nari' in despair. But she had definitely hoped for him to make an appearance.

But how would he do that! He didn't even know the venue. After their dinner, she had not taken his calls or responded to his smses. For the past two days, Rajveer had not called her but he had sent her a text asking how she was doing. That had pissed Rashi off more! He needed to understand what had happened at dinner and he was supposed to think over it. But he was more interested in knowing how she was. How did he think she was going to be???!!!

Meeting a couple of old friends had distracted her a bit but not enough to stay back and enjoy the party. Quickly saying her goodbyes, Rashi picked up her keys and proceeded towards the door. She had not wanted the driver to wait for her in case she gets late. Reaching the parking lot, she looked for her car and found a tall, lean figure, standing against it. Rashis heart started beating fast at the possibility of it being Jignesh but as she neared him, she realised she was wrong.

Rajveer looked at his watch and frowned. Why was she still inside the party? Should he go inside and surprise her? No… what will he say to her in such a huge group of people! Worse… what if she goes hysterical in front of everyone. He could not take that risk. He might be an ACP but he was not trained to handle this kind of emergencies! He wanted to meet her beforehand… if only she had taken his calls!!!

Rajveer was busy thinking out his next plan of action when he felt someone approach him from behind. He quickly turned around to see Rashi look at him with blank eyes. She was dressed in the same blue dress that she had told him about and she looked like a fairy. Rajveer suddenly felt like an a** for almost breaking her heart, because his mind was slow in processing emotional reactions.

Before they had gone out for dinner, Rajveer had accepted to himself that he was in love… then why didn't he confess? He had wanted her to say it out first and hence the 'why' series had started but he had not expected her to react this way. He had his own insecurities due to whatever reasons but so did she. And it was high time that he opens out his heart to someone… and who better than the person that his heart had started beating for!

Rashi stared at Rajveer, willing him to say something… anything. When he just stared back at her for a minute, Rashi felt drained. She found herself suddenly too tired to even yell at him or insist on his confession. Exhaling a breath of despair, Rashi moved around him to unlock the door… and stopped as she felt his hand on hers.

The internal war within Rajveer was over. It was now or never.

"Rashi… Im sorry."

Rashi looked up in to Rajveers soft eyes. She hardened her heart against the lost look in them.

"Do you even know, what you're sorry for Rajveer?"

"I do… There are a lot of reasons but the bottom line is… im sorry that you fell in love, with a person like me…"

Rashi frowned at Rajveer. Again… he was not confessing but beating around the bush. Sensing her irritation, Rajveer pulled her hand towards him and kept it on his chest. At that moment, Rashi forgot everything, even to breathe…

"Rashi… Mein… Mein ek ACP hoon. I've caught countless criminals and put them behind bars. I am taught and trained to read a twisted mind and predict the consequences. I can shoot a moving target with my eyes shut and hear the slightest of noises in the darkest of nights. I know all the legal standards and procedures and am an alert officer and a responsible citizen. But im a complete zero and a fool when it comes to matters of the heart. Even juvenille and nave for that matter…"

Rajveers vulnerable speech brought a slight smile on Rashis face. It proved to be a source of encouragement to the man of the law, and he continued.

"I don't know when I fell in love with you Rashi. I seriously don't. I just knew that I was having a hard time analysing my feelings for you. One of the reason being, I've never been in love before, not even when I was married. Infact I was almost convinced, that Im incapable of this emotion. This feeling was totally beyond my understanding… it still is. The only difference is, now, I can recognise it. But even after it punched me in my face, I still managed to bring tears in your eyes."

Rashis fingers involuntarily curled around Rajveers.

I don't know when I fell in love with you Rashi.

Rashis heart was still at that line. She wanted someone to pinch her. No… she wanted the whole world to go away and not disturb them at all.

"Issliye… Im sorry im such a fool. Instead of giving you the right answer, I wanted your assurance first and I ended up ruining this night for you…

Im sorry that I did not recognise the signs sooner and made you wait so much…

Im sorry that I unknowingly forced you to take the first step towards giving our feelings a name. You are equally vulnerable as I am, not to mention the similar insecurities. And yet I did not take the initiative…

Im sorry that im not a hero. Instead of bursting into your party and claiming my love, I chose to meet you in this deserted parking lot and confess my feelings in private… Till I opened my mouth, I was unsure whether im doing the right thing or not!

Im sorry for not giving you the one thing that you had asked of me for the first time in my life… Me accompanying you to the reunion…

So in short, Im sorry for being me! And I feel that you have really fallen in love with the wrong person. But I promise that I will try and make up for every single thing, every stupid mistake that ive made and will probably make in the future. If only you would give me a chance… a chance at working on this relationship… a chance at love…"

Rashis eyes were glowing with love, warmth and tears by the time Rajveer finished his little speech. She had been in love before, even though it was one sided… but she had never felt her heart elate so much. Never felt so cocconed in warmth by just looking into someones eyes. Never felt so soothing to hear the opposite person love you back.

Rashis pretty smile lit up her face and she threw herself at Rajveer, holding on to him tight with her hands around his neck. And Rajveer felt a 240 Volts electric current pass through his body.

His hands stayed at his side, slightly away, as if in limbo whether to drop back to the body they belonged to, or hold the alien body which had crashed against them, making him almost stumble, had not there been a car behind.

Rajveers brain continued to try and process his next immediate course of action when, for the first time, when the situation called, Rajveer Singh Ahluwalia ignored his brain… and listened to his heart… and wound his arms around the woman he loved.

Arjun kissed the top of Arohis head and cuddled her more into his side. Looking up at the ceiling, he had a satisfied smile on his face. He held Arohis hand on his chest, and the other hand that went around her, caressed her bare arm with his fingers. Arohi dug more into him and he pulled her to make her comfortable.

"Arjun…"

"Hmmm…"

"Mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai…"

"Kaho…"

Arjuns chest felt light and was beating in abondan after a long time now. After shooing Raj away, Arjun had come back to the bed and completed the kiss that he had started. After 7 days of awkwardness, it almost felt like his first kiss to him. His head felt light, his breath deep, his senses were filled with the typical 'Arohi' smell, his heart was floating in the haze of passion and his body was reacting like a teenager with raging hormones.

Arjun had wanted to take this further but Arohi had held his hand when he slipped it inside her night dress. Not wanting to push her too much, Arjun had settled with cuddling his wife. The kiss was a step ahead that they had taken and if this was how making up felt after waiting, then he could wait some more before claiming his wife again. Imagining the passion that will explode then, gave him goosebumps already.

He was happy that Arohi had kissed him back and proved in action, how much she missed him and wanted him. And now she was talking to him. She was definitely near to forgiving him completely.

"Do you know why Mikhail is marrying Gauri?"

Arohis question threw Arjun completely off balance. His forehead creased up. But he did not want to break this momentum of her opening up to him.

"No… not really. I just know that it was her father who agreed to this proposal."

Arohi drew back and looked at her husband. "Can you find out the real reason?"

Arjuns pulled back in surprise and his eyebrows creased up more. "Why???" He could not understand why she was suddenly so interested in Gauri and Mikhail. Arohi read the question on his face.

"Kuch der pehle… jab tumne mujhse poocha kiska phone tha… it was Simi. Simi had called me."

Arjun looked at her in surprise. If it was Simi and not Karan who had called her, then why did Arohi not tell him then? But Arjun wanted her to continue and answer this question on her own. He had promised her about not questioning her and he would not break that promise at any cost.

"Simi ne bataya… ki uss din Mikhail had taken Gauri to some clients party. And two days later to some restaurant for dinner. And since that day Gauri is acting weird. She looks disoriented and lost most of the times. Even scared for that matter. Especially when someone names Mikhail or talks about their upcoming marriage. Voh to Mikhail ke calls bhi avoid karrahi hai. Uss din Simi answered his call on Gauris cell, and she indicated her to lie to him that Gauri is sleeping and will call later. Simi is very upset and worried about Gauri."

"But then… why doesn't she talk to Gauri… and ask her?"

"Gauri wont talk to her… she avoided the topic twice when Simi confronted her. And even I had seen the shock and reluctance on Gauris face when the engagement was announced."

"Arohi… if it was any other woman that it was fine, but this is Gauri we are talking about. She is responsible for ruining Rashis life and our relationship. Honestly, I don't want to think or even talk about her problems right now."

Arohi searched Arjuns eyes. She knew that she called Arjun a monster, but he was not heartless. It was the pain of his sister that had made Arjun hard hearted towards Gauri.

"Arjun… I know and I understand where you are coming from. Lekin agar Mikhail Gauri ko chot pohacha raha hai, or if he has a hidden agenda for her, then Im sure that even Rashi will not think twice before getting involved in this. All said and done, shes a woman Arjun. Aur dekha jaaye toh, a to-be Singhania bahu. Im not saying you confront Mikhail or Dad, but you can definitely find out the real reason."

Arjun stared at Arohi. What was this woman made of? She was worried about Gauri… the same Gauri who had used her friendship and tried to destroy her life. Arjun could never forgive for what she had done to Rashi, but like Arohi, even he could not stand and watch if Gauri was really the victim here. And now that Arohi had planted the seed of doubt in his mind, he had no other choice but to get to the bottom of this.

"Fine… Let me see what I can do. But… I donot want you getting directly involved in this. If Mikhail or Dad turned this around on you then I wont be able to take it. And right now, I donot want Dad to get angry with you or me about anything. Mikhail pehlese hi mere khoon ka pyasa hai, toh mein nahi chahta voh tumhe koi nuksaan karne ki koshish karey. Ok?"

Arohi smiled a small smile and nodded her head. "Arjun… I love you…"

Arjuns breath got caught in his throat. Hearing his wife utter the three most beautiful words after a long time gave him an adrenaline rush, which made him want to crush her with a hug. But he gulped his emotions and pulled her closer.

"Not more than I love you…" Arjun breathed into her hair.
