Okay let me write something and then you might get the idea. I am going by Peach's analogy. She termed his dream as Insecurities. His insecurity is always about losing his loved one.
Its very complex and muddled the way he took the revenge. Part of his subconscious allowed that conscious revenge because that removes his fear of losing Madhu as his loved one. And for that he consciously also wants to maintain that Madhu is not his loved one and he can live all alone in all glory of the life he created for himself.
But he is really breaking down with all kinds of incoherence in his present psyche. That he is being wrong, his subconscious knows and his conscious is able to accept when someone is pointing fingers at him. However as many observed, why not just accept he loves her.
This is where my guesswork starts. His whole edifice of not loving anyone, not making anyone that precious to himself has to be brought down. His issue was that he would be abandoned when he keeps loving his loved one. So he is not loving anyone and no abandonment. But then he now feels that he is dying from within. Now I really do not know why when drunken he said he is dying from within...was he dying because 1) Madhu is no more 2) He abandoned Madhu 3) He feels he lost something precious
Now in today's dream, Madhu comes to him, beckons him, but he sees her hypnotized and drawn to another stronger force, a man who is ready to kill him should RK come in between to fight him. The dream was like RK was left with no choice but to lose Madhu inspite of the fact that Madhu still calls him and is concerned for him as that man strikes him. As in he is compromised to simply lose Madhu and die anyways. Can he just accept this truth of his losing love or not being reciprocated in love just love keep loving Madhu ? Can I hope for that ? Is it too much to ask ? because then his insecurity will go away. But who knows what CVs have planned for him...turning one kind of insecurity into another insecurity...

Plus in his dream...he called her his BIWI...again sense of relationship/ownership that cannot be snatched away from him...and yet he is losing her. He is again being his own enemy. He has no biwi and he cannot experience any kind of loss and yet he wants to go through that loss...for what...obviously to realize that he loves his Biwi.
