'Kai Po Che' fame Amit Sadh bags yet another UTV f

'Lady Luck' seems to be finally smiling on the stars of the small screen as they have found the graduation from small screen to big screen tad bit easy of late!! After Ayushmann Khurrana (Vicky Donor) and Sushant Singh Rajput (Kai Po Che), Amit Sadh, Sushant's co-star in the Abhishek Kapoor directed film Kai Po Che has managed to taste stardom finally, with the success of the film!!

And the handsome guy we hear has gone on to sign two more films, one of which is to be produced by UTV. Apart from the UTV film, there is a buzz that he has been approached by Ekta Kapoor for her next production which might be directed by David Dhavan and might star Varun Dhavan as the second lead.

Amit who began his not-so eventful journey on television with Kyun Hota Hai Pyarr and Guns and Roses went on to do reality shows like Bigg Boss and Nach Baliye. When his career failed to take off, he got dumped by his girl friend. This is when Amit took some time for himself and went to USA to study acting. After getting back, he started to look for films. His first Bollywood outing Maximum starring Sonu Sood failed to set the box office on fire. But he has become a 'hero' with Kai Po Che which is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's novel 'The 3 Mistakes of my Life'.

We tried to get through to Amit, but could not reach him. UTV refused to give us an official statement on the same.

All said and done, kudos to Amit for believing in himself and striving hard for success!!
