samosas are best with a cuppa hot tea, but i am happy to munch on mine with all that the episode brought. no less hot, or aromatic (i am a darjeeling tea fan, that fragrance of the hills, the crisp air, the gurgling rivers, aah), fresh and just perfectly steeped. and in true ipk style, the creatives take us seamlessly from a deep emotional, intense day to a happy and light one with notes of fire in it.

that single word from shyam, what?!!! was a great way to start. in one exclamation lay his shattered world. his wife had just suggested that he turn the girl he lusts after surreptitiously and without any compunction whatsoever, tie a rakhi on him, turning her into his sister and him into her brother. if i were drinking a real cup of tea at the moment, i'd surely have burned myself. too too funny, that moment. and yet... dangerous.

if anyone gets too close to shyam's deceit, he needs to act. to hurt someone. do something dirty. all the while pretending to himself, he doesn't have an option. and the ensconcing of khushi in the raizada home despite his best efforts, followed by this outrageous (to him) suggestion by his wife, completely throws him. there follows the unnecesary beating up of a cabbie, the coming to his senses and the next plan to somehow swing the situation to his advantage.

shyam was built with insight and interest by all concerned... his writers, his actor. he was not your mundane villain in the beginning, just flat and bad and raring to rape or steal or kill hero.no he was a character with an incredible flaw... no conscience. ne. in that he was the exact opposite of asr. there was a low animal quality to shyam. survival and his gain his only motive. whatever i want i must get. he said as much to khushi when he advised her to do what her heart pleases; asr also wanted to live life his own way but not by hurting and disrespecting others, certainly not by lying and cheating. for he had that one thing, shyamu darling never got to taste... conscience.

otherwise he was educated, well mannered, even learned in things, but defy his desires once, and there goes the whole outer layer. the scum within takes over with extreme ease. how he manipulated anjali all the while, preying on every weakness of hers. that watchful gaze in his eyes, when he'd throw the bait and see if she caught it or not... it's ok, though my leg is hurting let me hold my ears and do uthak baithak.

every time anjali fell for it. again, a victim of her own insecurities too apart from his game playing. but not khushi. he had that same look in his eyes when he threw the tantrum about going away, being hurt.

yet her gaze was clear. she was not needy (unlike his prime victim, anjali), she said there was no way she could take money from him, for it's not right. simple. she'd earn it, even if t meant going to a place where she's been insulted... and the next major character trait comes up... her commitment to her family. the family that made her their own when all was gone. anything for babuji. she'll tolerate anything.

clever writing in of character effortlessly throughout ipk. and these characters will create their destiny, lead the plot where it must go.

shyam had no respect for ties. but khushi would hold on and mend every string that meant something. can't quote off hand, but that poignant, "dhaga" dialogue while sewing on her angry and disbelieving husband's button: i didn't ask to be given this thread, but now that it has been put in my hand...

i think only in india i've come across this amount of tradition and tying together of, and giving and taking of respoonsibility between, a brother and sister. there are of course lost in the past, immense cultural and socioeconomic reasons, some i would agree with, and some perhaps not. but in its current form, one of the sweetest traditions we have, is rakhi or raksha badhan where a brother swears to take care of and protect (raksha) his sister with the tying of a string. i remember the horrific tinsel covered rakhis with sponge in terrible colours with some crazy motif stuck on top we'd get.🤣 loved them. being bengali, we did a reverse one for our brothers, the "phonta" or tika that would deter even the lord of death "yama," putting a barrier in his dorway, preventing him from reaching the brother... bhaiyer kopale dilam phonta, jomer duare podlo kaanta. i will protect my brother said this.

goes without saying, for asr and anjali, this was far far far more than a ritual. a joyous, pure, and happy reminder of their meaning in each other's lives. he had appointed himself her caretaker at 14... and she had let him. she made a rakhi for him every year. he kept a fast with her, and together, these two siblings born of the same mother, found their ma once again when holding out their hands to each other and committing to their relationship. this is a tie from birth, and it shall be kept, honoured. a lot of their tragically departed mother was part of this story. even for naniji, and perhaps mamaji. daughter, sister, mother, their ma was all of them after all. and equally cherished in those roles.

but daljeet is flawless as sister. and he as brother. when talk started of daljeet leaving, it was hard to imagine who could ever replace her.

in nani's eye was a gleam when the grand children played, and how proud she was telling khushi about the ritual they shared. asr observed the rituals that had meaning for him. he had his own way of connecting with the eternal... through his conscience, through his commitments. ❤️ this

and nani's eyes gleamed again when the laddoo talk came up. she noticed her chhotey make note of the laddoo maker. pleased as punch was she. i never realised the first time round, maybe because i started watching late, how much of a hand and will nani had in this pyaar. grandmother of all plotters. adore her character and jayashree t's interpretation.

just when she thought this laad gov had a nice side, perhaps even a decent bloke in him somewhere, out came the hawww-ror story. living in? khushi had come to teach la, looks like today la ended up teaching khushi something new. an all new parampara, tradition. "sab kuch kar sakte hain", "bina shadi ke." gadzooks, pass the samosas. and off went the crunchiest tastiest part of episode. lots of chillies and bite in it. and hiccups.

a middle class, non big city girl. tough, responsible, forward looking, gutsy, not at all run of the mill... far from being "less" in any way, virtually a son to her parents (if i am to look at traditional roles played by offspring in indian homes)... but not even in her wildest had she considered this idea of a relationship.

no ties. no pheres. no strings attached.

sex without marriage. she can't believe she's even considering the proposition.

of course, the shock is too much. and all she can do is go into auto pilot and reach for comfort. for khushi that is food. always. in joy, in sorrow, at night, or morrow. a defence in its own way i guess. to save herself from a devastating sense of emptiness at times when an accident and two people gone come to mind. don't know psychology... but there's something in that constant eating of hers. nonstop... chana, ber, chew nail... and of course jalebi, gol gappa, aloo poori, you name it. we shall get to the bottom of it in season 2.

EPISODE 66&67

The game of Evil and good within themselves has started a war in between players to win at any cost .The Rook[shyam] is excelling in his dirty and filthy moves while other Rook[Anjali] is setting the home front for King[Arnav] and Queen[Khushi] while these two are setting scores in between each other under Bishop[Nani]observation and DM's Arshivad.

Symbolism:Shadows [as described in Epi 64 from Arnav's shadow on the kitchen wall] gives us two sides of our own pwersonality,the one which world already knows and the one which only we know.The war of good and evil goes on in each one of us all the time but the only thing which matters is the outcome after seize fire.Some of us take this war to mend our deeds and some go along with it BUT some take it to the next level of the game where layers of faces upon faces mingle and crush the original personality completely and the person lost the credibility from all sides even he loses the ability to recognize himself or his deeds at the end.

Unlike shadows Reflections through glass are see through it means you are aware of the situation but still want to remain unaware of it intentionally or unintentionally as Shyam's reflections are always through window glasses only one shadow at the end in the night when Arnav goes to Khushi for forgiveness. - you make a great point here, but since we saw his shadow during teej also during his reveal, i feel he was a master at hiding his see-through reflections.but i agree with you that if Arnav/Anjali looked harder they would see him for who he is.

Reflection through mirror is a different story it means you are just seeing the pic on one side and other side is dark for you, meaning you are unaware of it as Khushi was seeing yesterday.You only see apparent picture not the story behind the scene.

Connection:Shyam has crossed all the boundaries and is completely Psycho because he has layers of faces to work his plans which are taking over his personality completely because of his deceit nature and EVIL heart as he is refusing to pay attention to his conscious.

Arnav vs ASR , regardless the evilness of his words ,his PURE heart and TRUTHFUL nature ,his conscious never let him fall for it completely.Even during this war of within he is what he is and that makes him "The MAN"

EVIL # 1

Shyam

The game of Evil Vs Evil is getting its grip over hearts and minds.This Evil is not only spreading its venom slowly and steadily among its prey but also getting bit by it too. .Shyam Manohar Jha who got first bite by its own tongue today as his wife gave him a way of escape from all the evil he is trapped in under the layers of faces by asking him to become brother of Khushi.

Face 1-As a Psycho

"Hum apni baat thore hi na kar rahe hain'.hum tou Khushiji ki baat kar rahe hain...AAP UNHAIN RAKHI BANDH DIjiye"...[I am not talking about myself ,I want you put Rakhi on Khushi as a brother] This is the last thing he ever wanted to hear.

His anger and rage has no limit as his filthy desires have already pulled him in the dungeon of fire where he can burn but can't run.He threw this fire at a regular guy but amazingly truth comes out as he is beating him with the foot which deceitfully was injured.Hats off to makers the color of bracelet and the bandage is same.Now bandage is playing game and later his bracelet - great catch!

SYMBOLISM: Blue color along with peace and harmony,it also represents,coldness,tranquility,depression,femine appeal especially Turquois color which also provides calmness and confidence in communication.

I don't have to say much as this symbol suits Shyam all along.Who can survive this honey tongue guy.

Face 2-As a disgusting Lover

"Yeh mun hai keh samajhta hi nahin'jahan thora apna pun dikhta hai sub khuch bhula daita hai"[my heart does not understand this , it forgets everything whenever it sees something very close to it]...Yeah right why don't you just say wherever is sees you can't control myself you freak blackmailing her with your schemes .Proud of Khushi and her upbringing .way to go...👏

Pause here:He is threatening to Khushi in his monologue as he is going to bring her parents and will fulfill his promise as "I have to do what I don't want to" and will wound this family way too much by almost killing Babuji.

Face 3-As a disgusting husband and Damadji

"mamiji aapko pata nahin log ajkal kis hud tak gir chuke hain '.aap dekhengi tou kehaingi keh yeh adami aisa hai"[Mamiji ppl these days are doing so low cheap acts that you won't believe that this person can do such a thing]..."Dekhain tou seedha sadha aur chitha kholo tou baap re baap" [apparently a person seems a simple guy but in reality full of decite] Sitting with wife and thinking about Khushi...

Arnav VS ASR

He rectified his mistake with both the angels in his life. Debut of "Teri Ankhon mein tou muskurai"...LOVE IT.The amazing part is he inclined towards the one[Khushi] for rectification with ego and anguish but for the other one [Anjali] .At this point his love and respect for Anjali is way above and all but the balance will tilt towards Khushi later on.Raksha Bandhan bonded these three together unintentionally as Anjali is making him wear Rakhi amd feeding him with Laddoos made by Khushi.He praised both of them too by liking Rakhi and "Laddo iss sal phele se ziyada ache banain hain"[Laddoos this year are far better than ever] by admiring the taste of Khushi's laddoos.Though unintentionally and glaring but This LADDOO is part of you now Mr Akhroo...😉 awww

He admired Khushi again as he can't stand anyone to be like her or near her,though unintentionally but his looks are deceiving as his words "Us KKG keh saath rehte rehte us jaissi mut ban jana"[By living with her don't become like her] hmm...Sorry Akhroo she has no brain or guts to be like her regardless she will copy her later as you will say to Khushi,'you are the only one piece in this world'.INDEED she is and La can't have even dream of it either.

EVIL #3

Khushi VS Khushi

"Us LaadGovernor keh age bure se bura aadami bhi acha dikhe ga"[Any evil person will be better than LG] Love you Khushi you are saying things in anger but calling him with his sweet name LG.Khushi is indeed one piece in this whole wide world as she develops soft corner towards La thinking as La is suffering from LIVE IN disease all because of her Rakshus LaadGovernor, Magarmach,and now Kans...Love her new level of this hate towards her LG as when she thinks of him alone she always calls him LaadGovernor with such a sweet anger and modulation that even if LG hears it from her soft lips with sexy voice he will melt and go flat instantly but in front of ppl or even Him she is just as Akhroo as he is.Her answer to Payal shows a very deep side of her as she is doing for her family but doing it BECAUSE OF LaadGover as "Yeh sab us LaadGovernor ki Ghalati hai"[This is all his fault]...Acc to him its your fault I am in this mess with Di and acc to her its his fault as I am in this mess with you and my family is in this mess because of you.Just getting dreamier with these AKHROOS...as Payal said"DM ki marzi bhi tou yehi hai"[Its all acc to Dm's wishes}Indeed DM's game is way above all.She needs a a break...👏😆

Even in her dreams her conscious is clearly declares her state of mind"Unhain La keh saath na rehne ki saza milti hai"{your punishment is to live without La] .She can't stand anyone near him either as he can't see La to be like her or anyone near her.

we read into her subconscious the same, i too think she's has a need to punish him and on top of that, him living-in with La is bugging the heck out of her

EVIL SCENES WITH TOUCH OF LOVE & INNOCENCE

Scene 1-

"Rakshabandhan"

Love the bond of Anjali and Arnav which is wrapping Khushi around it and how the whole family welcomed this new member already.Just loved the way he realized Khushi made these Laddoos with her hands and he touched them while eating it was not less than a havoc inside both of them for that moment and RabaVe was adding the intensity in this scene too.But he showed his annoyance with that as he wants to get away from her"Us ke bare mein sochna nahin chahta"[don't want to think about her] Well too bad Naniji's smile and relief is telling different story here.

Pause here: Anjali is celebrating it with her family without Shyam and next year the same will happen.He is never be a part of this family at any stage.

Scene2-

The revelation of "live in" for innocent Khushi and her monologues while eating samosas and the way she tells this to Payal.Just hilarious.Her cute childish face filled with Samosas was too tempting for Arnav to ignore though her hiccups gave him indigestion for a while and he yelled at La more than her.Its never enough to admire Khushi for him but again this is our Akhroo we are talking about.

Pause here: She will be living with her LaadGovernor without proper marriage during contract one with Sindoor and Maglasuter infront of whole family.

Scene 3-

Khushi's name and Arnav's restlessness. As "Mujhe us Larki ki shakal bhi nahin dekni"[I don't want to see this gal's face] and her term to be in RM ,come and go when he is not there means indirectly she is giving him answer ok If you don't want to see me the I don't want to see you either.Tit for Tat...Arnav's rage over Khushi for not seeing him."How dare she can have this term for not seeing him in my home"The walk ,the monologue and the BG music from ASR tone to like funny war signal just too good.Both Akhroos were too Temptalicious...and Yummilicious!!!😆

Awww his concern wrapped in anger when she hit herself...Hey DM..

"Bina Shadi keh Saath Saath Rakshus" [without marriage living together rakshus].Khushi's whispered message to her LG and "What The" answer for her Pagal was just a dribbling moment.😉😆

Scene 4-

" Kans " Dhamaka dar arrival and Khushi's pointer just amazing.His glares and daggers were received by Khushi without any hesitation...His turning and looking back at her was showing his vulnerability and her concerned looks as she was saying sorry for that pointing finger and Mr Akhroo," I will see you for not seeing me."He can't miss the opportunity for not seeing her,how can he??????😉

Pause here:Khushi's departure or absence always bothers him but it will get intense day by day.From day when he wants to say sorry to her last day in RM which end up in bandagement till the very end during remarriage and so on

Anjali saves the day,indeed she is sweet Di ...👏😊

I salute Khushi's endurance, her strong will to persist. If I was in her state I would definitely slap La and quit the job. But Khushi is extra ordinary, She is not like a common girl like me. Buaji plead her to quit the job. But she was persistent in her decision. She will do the job at any cost. she can bear anything for the sake of her family.Arnav once commented her "kiss mitti se bani ho tum?' she proved it umpteenth time in this tale.She is really special, God surely made her with extra care. I agree...she is like role model

Everyone was doing the primary pooja. La was standing a little behind. Khushi called her to join them.I just can't believe this girl. How she was behaving so nicely with the girl who tried to humiliate her so meanly! She is one of a kind...she believe everyone has some niceness in them and she does not want to show people she is hurt by la's act and she is doing her job...Nani asked Khushi to get ghee from the kitchen.But mr. Akhroo came on her way to give the ghee. He told, Anjali told him to give the ghee. So he was wandering around her!😆He must be worried seeing her crying!I thought so too While taking the ghee from Arnav Khushi noticed some ghee on his shirt. She got jovial and requested him to join the pooja, as she thinks it's a signal from God. But mr. yummiliciois Akhroo (Thanks ArshiHamesha for a perfect name) was reluctant to join. he doesn't believe in religious customs.She even requested Anjali. Khushi reminded him the teez, She also felt a jolt while remembering.Of course Teez was special as he broke her fast and carried her in his arms on that day..Arnav admonished that he went their becoz of Anjali and at his home he will do whatever he feels to do..He said if your God strikes me with lightning I'll emulate and wait for that day, but will not believe in your God. After saying that no wonder khushi is on a mission to get arnav to come to the poojaHe huddled from there. But Khushi is adamant. Coz she thinks no one can ignore God's signal and can escape from him.

La was erroneous nice word as usual doing the rituals..Nani frowned at her irritatingly. La said grimly,never can make Gabbar(nani) happy! Khushi gave her an idea to meliorate Nani. She made La to wear a saree. La couldn't drape it properly, so Khushi intended to help her.La threw tantrum that she can't teach her, so she must quit the job.She was trying to find way to get Khushi out of her life. Khushi tried to help her , but La yelled at her that she doesn't want to learn from a chamkili girl. Khushi ignored her acrimony and suggested her to overlook her and focus to please Nani. . for a split second it seemed la was changing...She told her to convince Arnav for the the Arti. La agreed to do so, as she also thought it's a good idea to please Nani.. But Arnav disdained and antagonized to participate to the pooja.

Nani was sure that Chote will not come. As Anjali never made him do the pooja, then how miss Kasyap can do! Nani's prediction was right. La showed her frustration and accused Khushi to come up with a futile plan. Khushi came up with another plan and ask La to execute that. But Nani was incredulous of La's idea . She just can't trust her after the character dheela performance. Khushi planned to turn off the power. Arnav was working on his Lappy. There is a blooper here, The laptop power shouldn't be out becoz of the power outage. I noticed that too😆 Anyway Arnav hollered JP's name and came across the hall.There were no sign of any body. He knew where he can get the light. It's no other place but the mandir. He went their and lit the Dia. The power came up instantly and everybody moved to him reciting a rhyme "hathi ghora palki jai Kanayalal ki"Anjali told him that Lord krishna made you to lit the lamp, so you must stay for the Pooja. She requested him to stay for the sake of her. Arnav can't antagonize his Di. So he joined the prayer with grumpy face. Aww he was looking shoo cute! Yes he was!!!!!!Khushi exulted and showed her thumbs up to God. Anjali was imagining her Krishna while doing the arti. On the other hand Shyam was doing the arti violently imagining Khushi. He challenged God to get Khushi by hook or by crook. How audacious!😡

When they finished the pooja Khushi was about to keep the thali, the flame of the dia was going to dimmish ,then Arnav and Khushi both simultaneously shield the flame with their hand. They stared at each other with a jolt.

Next the time to swing Krishna. When Arnav did it too Mami got astonished and commented that, it is the eigth wonder of the world. Suddenly Buaji appeared in front of her. she thought Mami called her Bandar. She fumed and Mami mocked her that Bandar nahi wonder and suggested her to learn some english .She told her to join night school. Yeah I'm sure Mami learnt her english from there. 😆 Mami and Buaji duo is just awesome!👍🏼Hilarious scene...

La was bragging that she came up with the brilliant idea to agree ASR for the pooja. But Nani was incredulous. she threw suspicion. La told Khushi not to reveal the secret that it was her idea. Khushi agreed it and said she doesn't want to take the credit. All happened with God's will. He challenged to God, so God showed him his potent.Unfortunately ASR overheard them, while passing. He infuriated again. he dragged La to his room and charged her why she concocted with Khushi. He called Khushi "do kori ki larki"which means cheap girl. La tried to make him understand but when ASR repugned she came back to her La mood again. She became precarious of loosing ASR. She promised not to listen to Khushi and venged to afflict her. Poor khushi...everytime she tries to do something nice...it back fires

The Plan

RM- Where were we, oh yes, Kansa the Evil King did not believe in God. He had heard that Devki had her 8^th child and he wanted it dead so he plotted to kill the child. He made a plan, but this plan would be foiled by Vesudev. Krishna was born as Vishnu, vasudev would do anything to save his child. The prison doors opened and his plan was to bring his son to his friend King Nanda. Vasudev placed his son in a basket and he went to the Yamuna River where he had to cross the raging waters. There was a terrible storm occurring and the raging waters were fierce but Vasudev was determined to continue with the plan.

CRACK! Everyone in the RM jumped they were listening to Kushi as she continued her story intently.

The child was in the basket on Vasudev's head and thus he began the trip as planned across the raging waters. The storm was getting stronger the river's water formed waves. Lavanya asks, wasn't Krishna scared? Kushi chuckled, the child was smiling he loved the rolling and swaying of the waves. Then they hear the sound of the Conch and Sesa God, the cobra snake, emerged from the darkness to protect Krishna so the rain would not touch him. They arrived at the port and Vasudev went immediately to his friend the King Nanda and his wife Yasoda. Krishna grew up safely there and when he could he killed King Kansa. Vesudev's plan worked and little Krishna was saved.

Kushi asks Lavanya, so what do you think? Anjali and Nani check on the offering and Kushi again asks Lavany what did she thinks of the story. Lavany excuses herself, "uh, I'll be right back." Her plan is to escape from Kushi clutches and boring stories.

The phone rings no one is around but Kushi so she goes to answer the phone.

"Hello," HE asks who this is. "Kansa?" She whispers. "Kushi speaking." Give the phone to my sister he snaps. She's not here, try her mobile. He said I did already why do you think I am calling this phone. If you are finished questioning me, ask my sister if I need to get saffron or nutmeg? Kushi says no not saffron but nutmeg. He says you are not paid to give me advise. Ask my sister and tell me. Anjali comes over and asks Kushi who is on the phone and she says your brother wants to know if you need saffron or nutmeg. Nutmeg, Anjali answers, YOU can tell him that. Have you heard she asks him? Learn..CLICK he hangs up. Hello? Hello? Aargghhh she pops a chana in her mouth again muttering "Kansa". Her plan was to take this job and not see or speak to him. What happened?

Lavanya comes and asks Kushi was that ASR? Why did he call the landline, is everything okay? Kushi says to herself poor Lavanya; she has been probably through a lot with this man. She places her hand on her shoulder and tells her it's all right, you don't have to worry. Lavanya breaks her hold. Kushi thinks again poor girl. Her plan now is to protect her from that "Kansa". They go to the mandir and Kushi continues with her teaching about Krishna. She tells Lavanya he has many names, 108 to be exact. Lavanya says wait a minute one idol so many names? Kushi says each name has a reason behind it. "Like you, Chamkilli" and Mami comes and adds her other names "Torn Saree" and "Spoiled Sweets"; Kushi feels bad. Anjali comes to her rescue. Anjali says that Chote's brother, her husband, shares one of those names and Kushi says so does her tenant. Really? Tell me his name'Nani calls Anjali and that is a mute question. Kushi tells Lavanya now we will decorate the swing and then rock Lord Krishna and celebrate his birth. Lavanya says cut the cake? Kushi says better than that come, I'll show you.

Mami is walking with a full bowl and bangs into Uncle Rahim in the central hallway and some spills onto the floor. She yells at him can't you see old man? I believe Devi Maiyya has a hand in this plan. So let's see what happens.

In the kitchen Kushi tells Lavanya the surprise. Kheer! Lord Krishna loved milk and use to steal butter and eat it. Oh no Lavanya thinks so many calories. Kushi tell Anjali her plans to teach all the rituals of the pooja and Lavanya tells her she remembers everything she has taught her. She hears her phone ringin and is expecting an important call, you carry on, I'll be right back she says and high tails it out of there. Kushi's plan is not working at the moment.

Lavanya's phone rings, it is in the kitchen! ASR walks in the door arms full of packages from shopping for pooja. Kushi grabs the phone and is bringing it to Lavanya. They both stop sensing the other. Rabba Ve. They continue and when she enters into the central hall she slips on the debris left by Mami on the floor. ASR reaches out to grab her; packages and flowers go flying but he has a tight hold on her. He wouldn't let her fall. A yellow drape goes flying, must mean something, ArshiHamesha, BarunDiwani, Indi, anyone? Rabba Ve'. Devi Maiyya's plan has worked. They are here in a tight hold, breath and heartbeat united.

He goes to open his mouth and Di agains saves the day, Chote what happened. Kushi leaves hands La her phone and comes back to Anjali, she has to tell her something. He turns around and looks at her. What does she want to say? What plan is she now conjuring up? He walks away.

Anjali and Kushi are in the living room and Kushi lets Anjali know she must go home early for pooja with her sister and Buaji. Anjali says please stay because she doesn't think Lavanya will know what to do properly. Kushi is adamant she must go home early. He comes over and tells Anjali, this is no way to talk to this kind of person. If you pay her overtime she will stay for hours. Again he does it, an intentional dig at her. Don't you know by now ASR that your behavior only hurts her and then you yourself is hurt. You should learn that this kind of plan will not work. Devi Maiyya will just intercede. Anjali is shocked. Kushi humiliated, hurt and then she becomes angry. Anjali, I am talking to you but also tell your brother not everything can be bought with money. Yeah, right, everything, except you! He says. "Bas, Chote!" Anjali exclaims. Nani comes to Kushi's rescue as well and tells him not to use his business terms here, he has a lot of work to do, leave this stuff to us. He walks away, Nani tells Kushi Anjali is right you should stay here for pooja and invite your family. We have celebrated the last two holidays together so she feels that this year they were meant to celebrate the holidays together. They call Buaji and invite everyone including the tenant for pooja. Buaji reluctantly agrees.

The next scene is very cute when Anjali tells Akash that Kushi's family is coming, hint, hint, her sister, Payal. Payal asks Buaji why did you agree but then turns around and her mind wanders to Akash.

Devi Maiyya's plan does not just include Arnav and Kushi but Akash and Payal as well.

Mami and Lavanya are discussing Kushi and La is fuming pacing back and forth, "Chamkilli is here and NOW her Family? I don't understand Nani's problem." Mami answers, "YOU." Haha Mamiji. It's first come, first serve. The girl has come here before you and has impressed everyone. La answers she doesn't know how Chamkilli could impress anyone. Mami continues it is not about impression; she has made a spectacular entrance, much better than yours. But Nani doesn't even know the family, pleads La. Mami says that she has been trying to understand her mother in law for years. Now it is your turn, Ms. Kashyup. "When I see Chamkilli I feel like'aaarrggghhh!!!"

In the GH Buaji is ready to leave but Shyam refuses to go with them for the pooja at the Raizada home. What's your plan Shyam? How will you get out of this one?

Mami tells La she must make a plan. You continue to make aplan and I will go change she says. You see I must be "tip top" for when Buaji comes to the RM. She leaves to go primp! This is going to be fun and I am sure Mami has a plan already laid down in her head.

Plan, must make a plan. She has to save herself, her position in this house and ASR from Chamkilli. Lavanya puts on her fighting gloves and reaches for the phone she has a plan that she is putting into action.

Janmashtami

PART 1

Significance of Janmashtami

The verses in the Bhagavad-Gita (a sacred book narrated by Lord Vishnu) say, that whenever there will be predominance of evil and decline of religion, I will reincarnate to kill the evil and to save the good. The main significance ofJanmashtami is to encourage goodwill and to discourage bad will. Krishna Jayanti also celebrates togetherness.The holy occasion brings people together, thus it signifies unity and faith.

Pause here:Lord Krishna has 108 names and one of the name is "Aparajeet"means "A lord who cannot be defeated".Another name is "Bali"... "The Lord of strength"

Connection: Indeed this event in the show signifies the birth of Goodwill in Khushi and an attempt of rebirth of the faith in Arnav at this moment but the goodwill of Arnav is always there,the missing piece is his Faith and that's where Khushi comes in and he will regain the power of Faith in relations , in people, and somewhat in religion.He will be victorious at the end by defeating all of his fears and pains associated with his cruel past.He will get strength in his faith but only because of Khushi.

Pause here: Until next Janmashmati he will regain trust in marriage and be ready for remarriage with rituals and all with Khushi.He will learn to differentiate the good and the bad in relations without mixing these together.The strength of his faith as "Khushi tum nai mujhe iss wishwas peh wishwas dilaiya"[You made me believe in this belief] during Telepathy and at the time of his wedding " Khushi tum ne mujhe yahan khara kar ke mere sab sawalon keh jawab dila diye"[ by making me stand here you gave me all the answers of my questions.]as Khushi's faith which she has on him the night before when she submits herself to him was way too strong for him which he couldn't break regardless of the strength of evil around him.

But the beauty is Shyam is also a name of Lord Krishna and he will get strength too in his mission of destruction and will remain undefeated until Khushi , Arnav , and Anjali will join hands together to destroy this evil as this festival represents unity and faith in relations as well as in religion.

Pause here: He will try to kill Babuji , then Anjali , Arnav and that will provide him strength each time which will lead into killing his own unborn child but amazingly will accept it from his own mouth as he will turn psycho.

Khushi 's story telling techniques by acting out with full zoom was fascinating for Naniji and Anjali.She told the whole story of the birth of Lord Krishna and La was like "What" was amazingly entertaining.

Khushi is blowing "Shunk" means starting the battle cry against all the wrong doings unintentionally as she is the savior for all with the help of her savior Arnavji.

Love the egoistic and sweet convo in between our Yummilicious "Kans" and Temptalicious "Elaichi".Indeed she is elaichi as her taste is not that sweet but her "Mehak" [essence] mmm,...mmm...goodheaven..He loves to hear her but can't see her winning over him but she already has done so whether you accept it or not Mr Akhroo."Maan laine main kia harj hai akhir" [whats wrong in accepting it after all Elaichi[cardamom] is a winner not kesar.Love the way her voice signals the soothing breeze on him and his voice dulcifying her but abhorrence takes place over it and then smugness takes over abhorrence "Hum Khushi Bol Rahain hain"[Khushi Speaking] .I wished he sees her rather listening because she was looking so adorable but "ASR is always right" so he cuts that soothing signal.They both sure know how to fight ...😉

Anjali's displeasure over Khushi's humiliation by La and Mamiji was very visible.Hey DM Chote's Jijai's and Khushi's Paying guest are sharing same name with Lord Krishna...By chance isn't he "Daiya Ho"...Khushi explains how milk and things made of milk were liked by Lord Krishna especially Butter.

Symbolism:Milk is a symbol of fertility and purity as its God's gift.

Connection: As Anjali is making Kheer with Milk, She will be pregnant soon.

The strength of their "Mehsoos" feelings of their presence is getting stronger and mutual as Arnav enters and stops by her breezy essence as it touches his soul and she stops at his breezy mist as it touches her heart and we stop at Piano Raba Ve... .They both know each others proximity but move forward being oblivious.As Divine power is determined to bring them closer ,she ends up in his arms as "Hamesha Sanmbhalta Rahoonga"[always take care of you].She frees herself up but he wasn't ready to let her go surprisingly as his hand is still on his waist.hmmm...😳

Pause here:Yellow Dupatta flies as Dupatta always fly with joy and happiness whenever Arnav is around.It represents his inner joy and peace which he gets when he is around Khushi and her touch is just a tranquilizer and does hypnotism on him and he does not remember his surroundings like after a long long time dry land gets the first rain drops and release misty smell and aroma in the air.Amazing thoughts behind this small jesture.

Symbolism:Color yellow

Yellow is sunshine. It denotes happiness and joy .In some culture it represents cowards and in Japan it represents courage.

Connection: It represents the happiness and joy of Arnav when he is near Khushi and same for Khushi.

The same for Akash as he was giving Di the yellow handerkerchief as his joy has no limit for seeing Payalji.😃

Anjali was making "Mala" of yellow flowers as she does connect to the second concept as she is a coward to accept and face the reality right away because of her blind beliefs until Khushi and Arnav will join forces to give her enough courage to come out of it.

They both were lost in each others' proximity for couple of seconds and both realized it too as she fixes her Dupatta in her nervousness while breathing heavily and he flinches with his desires but again wants to erupt his love with harshness as a defense but again Anjali saves the aroma of this moment .😊

Pause here:Anjali will always be a bridge in between these two.She will be a meditator and a true sister for both of them😊

ASR is not done with KKG as she wants to talk to Anjali and he wants to talk with her.His gazes on her surely indicates as he is seeing some concerns on her face and he never misses the opportunity these days to hit the hot iron so the burn speaks with tease and pain as he knows Khushi never sits on idle ,she retaliates as she is a fighter and thats exactly he wants.He wants her to fight so he can have the real reason to throw her out ...as otherwise he has no choice but go along...He does not have any idea how deeply she has entered in ASR's shell and he is adamant on as "ASR itna kamzore nahin joh eik larki keh khiyal ko dil se na nikal sake.."[ASR is not that weak who can't remove thoughts of one girl]...but can you? You couldn't do it when she was not near you and now????😉😊

Khushi seeks permission to go home early from Anjali but Arnav's revenge over her is not done yet as he wants to speak with her awww...but says in rage "Over time keh paise do Shauq se rukegi...[Give her overtime then she will stay.] Khushi just gulps this insult down by ignoring him,'Anjaliji hum aap se baat kar rahe hain ...phir bhi aap keh bhai ko yeh yaad dila dain keh har chees paison se nahin khareedi ja sakti[I am talking to u Anjaliji but stil want to tell ur bro that not everything is for sale]..He huffs back at her after her ignorance over him,"yeah right Har chees par tum..[everything but you]...Anjali and Nani both intervene and he walks away with ASR eshtyle.Love this angry yummilicious! 😉

Naniji,"humka aisa lagat hai ein sal humra har tuhar apke saath mana likhat hai"[it seems this year we are going to celebrate every event together]...Naniji favors Anjali and wants Khushi to stay by calling her Buaji.Buaji hesitates first as she thinks her "aafat ki puriya"did something wrong but then accepts the offer.

Pause here:Naniji is so right as Khushi celebrating all the events unintentionally together before marriage.Teej, wishing tree, Rakshabandhan, Janmashtami, Diwali,...even after marriage Khushi says to herself during Diwali,"hum Diwali tou phele bhi mana chuke hain iss ghar mein"[I celebrated Diwali before in this house]

Shyam and his plans to celebrate the event with Khushi "gaeiya Bhar mein"[totally ruined] as he does not want to accept this invitation by Naniji.But Buaji is right Shyamji "Aisa Mauka bar bar thore hi aata hai"[you don't get these chances everyday] After all you are Damad of RM and will not be present at this event with your wife and family...Not Nice after all "hum apke Bhagat hain..nirash na kijiye"[After all we worship you ,don't disappoint us] Arghhh...😡😡"Naam se Bhagwan aur Kam se Shaitan"[ by name God and by deeds Satan]

Symbolism:Reflection through glass applies here as he knows the whole picture but still remains unaware of true depth of its nature as he is never in the same frame.He is out when Khushi is in RM and vice versa.Divine powers of DM is really magical in this matter.

Love this parallel scene in between these two new lovebirds.Anjali tells her "Bhudooram" about Payalji and her arrival in RM.Really Akash you are shy more than girls.Seriously...If he is in Payalji's Khiyal [thoughts] so is she by faking being angry with Buaji for his Khiyal.So sweet.[I don't know nice parallel couple]👏😊

La's jealousy over Khushi is coming up to the surface. Love Mamiji about this dialogue,"Pahti saree ki entry huai Zabardast aur tumhai Zabardasti"[Your entry is forcefully but Khushi is welcome to this house with open arms] 😊 So so true...but thats why it is called FATE...

What a dialogue so true to nature as Khushi did enter first with her right foot in[pic of her entry first time] and welcomed by Anjali and then Nani.After that with Arnav's permission but again Anjali and Nani opened their arms for her but La's entry is not acceptable by Naniji or even by Anjali as she is doing it because of her Chote not because she wants to.

La is on mission to plan something .Lets see what that plan is tomorrow
