Chapter 8 - Revealation

There she lied down on the bed like a fragile body. Still my mind was just like a question bank, which can explode any time, but I guess it is not the right time to have my brain work up like that. I went and sat near her, caressing her forehead. She looked so weak. I do not know what had happened, but I surely knew that somewhere my heart is not crying to see her in this position. Well, it was nothing compared to the feeling of losing her to death.

Hours passed, but she did not gain consciousness. This surely made me panic. 'Is she fine?' was the only question running down my mind. I cannot bear loose her' again! Then a thought strike my mind.

Is Swayam too is alive?

I do not know the answer to this question. And the one who can answer this question is in a deep slumber. There were so many questions but unfortunately, no answer to any of these. Two days, and my life had turned upside down.

I had almost lost her, Sharon had lost Swayam and now, I got to knew that she had escaped the fire but ended up meeting an accident.

What has my life became in just two day!

I had been yearning for a girl whom I guess I never knew!

I had been blaming myself for leaving her. I made a mental note to never leave her this time, even if it would be the nurse to say me so. I just cannot risk her life every now and then.

I felt her palm move, which I had been holding up from a long time. I looked up to see her ' she had sweat all over her forehead. She had been shivering like anything and next, she woke up scared to hell.

What did just happen to her?!

"Kriya?"

I spoke out gathering her attention. I saw her stepping back, which do hurt me.

Then she gave me a look up and out of blue hugged me tightly.

Is she all right?

I felt my shirt getting wet and I pulled back, cupping her face.

"Kriya... All is fine no?"

I spoke out in a sweet tone making her not sense up ' how scared I was.

She nodded a no.

Damn, I knew it! Something was surely wrong.

"What happened?"

I asked her.

"Rey' they'"

Then, she burst out into tears. I asked her to take rest and asked the nurse to call the doctor.

The doctor arrived, checked her up, and declared she is fine but she had to be admitted in the hospital for a week or so. It was okay with me, until she is fine.

Just as the doctor left, I saw her making an effort to sit up straight. I helped her as she rested her back to the pillow behind.

"You knew I have been scared to death?" I asked her and then continued. "Why hadn't you come back Kriya?"

She looked up and spoke out.

"I wanted to Rey but'"

She stopped speaking.

"Mujhe nahi bataaogi?"

I asked her knowing she would then tell me. She nodded a no and continued.

"They trapped us Rey."

Trapped them? What does she mean by 'us'? Was there someone else to?

"Trapped whom Kriya?"

"Me and '"

"And?"

"Sam."

Bingo! Therefore, he is alive too. But how did it all happened?!

"Kriya' please tell me what happened honey. I can't just go around risking your life."

"You can't ever do that."

"Oh! Really? If I had not gone, you won't have been in this condition today."

I just let it out what I had suppressed from the past so many hours.

"No Rey. It was not your fault. Jo hona tha ho gaya."

"Leave it. Tell me what had actually happened and who was behind it all?"

She looked up and hesitated to tell it up.

"My parents? Was it them?"

I asked her as she stared up at me surprisingly.

So it was them' as I thought!

She nodded a yes and I asked her to continue.

"I don't know Rey what had happened after they stabbed me in my'"

She sniffed as I kept my arm around her and kissed her forehead ' making her knew I would always be there by her side.

"When I woke up I found myself in the farmhouse. I thought it would have been you who bring me up there but later I saw 'him' and he told me that he and 'them' had killed our baby."

She spoke out in between her tears. I tightened my grip around her as she continued.

"They told that they even tried to kill Sam but later brought me and him in our farmhouse as we were safe' unhone bahut maara Rey' I do not know why. It hurts...! Sam made me fled away but they trapped him and'"

They tried to hurt her!

Now that was excessively much. Enough is enough. How could one do this? I doubt if they have any humanity left or not!

I made her lie down and asked her to sleep.

"Rey please, I don't..."

I made her quiet keeping my finger on her lips.

"Take some rest. I will not go anywhere this time. Kay?"

I made her to sleep and sat by her side ' thinking about the worst side of my parents.
