~Recap~

VirMan smiled at each other and went back to the Chaudhary House. After bidding good bye to the Chaudharies, Viraat and Maanvi made their way back to Chandigarh.

~Vadhera Mansion, at 10:00pm...VirMan's Room~

Viraat: Maanvi kal hume hospital jaana hai, tumhari 2nd chemotherapy ke liye.

Viraat, picked up his pillow and blanket from the bed, and walked towards the couch. While Maanvi, pulled her duvet over her body, after sitting comfortably on the bed.

Maanvi: (looked up at him) Kya? Kal, par Viraat kal mujhe apni pehli rasoi ka rasam karna hai. Aur Di, woh bhi toh ghar par rahe gi, kya bahane banayein gein hum Viraat. Unhe shak ho jaye ga.
Viraat: Uski chinta tum mat karo, main kuch soch lunga. (sternly) Aur yeh rasam ke baare mein kam aur apni health par zyada dhiyaan do toh acha hoga.
Maanvi: (looking at him with narrowed eyes) Tum itne rudely kyun baat kar rahe ho mujhse?
Viraat: Main kahan rudely baat kar raha hun?
Maanvi: Toh abhi kya kar rahe the?
Viraat: Main sirf tumhe bata raha tha. Anyways, ab tum so jao. Good Night.

Viraat lied down on the sofe, after covering his body with the blanket. Maanvi was still sitting on the bed, worriedly and nervously looking at Viraat's direction.

Maanvi: Viraat, mujhe dar lagta hai.
Viraat: (sitting up/looking at her) Dar? Kisse?
Maanvi: (tears formed in her eyes) Mujhe needle se bahut dar lagta hai. Pehli baar mere saath Beeji, aur Chachu the, par kal mere saath koi nahi hoga. Isiliye mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai.
Viraat: Maanvi..

Viraat got off the sofa and walked towards Maanvi. He sat beside her as she looked down, hiding her tears from him.

Viraat: (placed his hand on hers) Maanvi, meri taraf dekho.
Maanvi: (moves her hand/looking  everywhere, but him) Viraat bahut raat ho gayi hai so jao.
Viraat: (hands on her cheeks/concernedly) Maanvi look at me.
Maanvi: (looking at him with teary eyes) Viraat...
Viraat: Kisne kaha ki kal tumhare saath koi nahi hoga?
Maanvi: (moving his hands away)Sach hi toh hai na. Main janti hun.
Viraat: Yeh sach nahi bilkul jhut hai. Main hun na, (places his hand on her cheek, again) aur main hamesha rahunga tumhare saath.
Maanvi: (looking at him lovingly/tears rolling down) Sachi mein Viraat?
Viraat: (smiles) Haan, main har kadam pe tumhara saath dunga, chahiye woh happy happy ho ya sad sad.
Maanvi: (cutely) Vada karte ho na?
Viraat: Pakka vada karta hun.
Maanvi: (looking at him, while holding his hand, which was on her cheek) Tum shayad rahoge mere saath har kadam par, magar main, main nahi janti ki main tumhara saath har kadam par de bhi paungi ya nahi Viraat. (tears continuously rolling down her cheeks) Pata nahi kab mujhse Bhagwaan naraz ho jaye aur mujhe tumse dur kar de.
Viraat: Aisa kabhi nahi hoga. Tumhe mujhse koi bhi dur nahi kar sakhta, Bhagwaan bhi nahi. Woh chahiye gein bhi na toh main tumhe unse chhin kar apne paas le aunga. (trying to cheer her up) Arey shadi ki hai tumse, meri Biwi ho tum, aise kaise koi bhi alag kardega tumhe mujhse.
Maanvi: (smiles a little) Shayad hume yeh shadi karna hi nahi chahiye tha.
Viraat: Maanvi kya tumhe lagta hai ki tumne mujhse shadi karke kuch galat kiya?
Maanvi: (moving his hand away, which was on her cheek) Haan Viraat, tumhe mujhse shadi nahi karni chahiye thi yeh jante huye ki main kabhi bhi mar..
Viraat: (palm on her mouth) Don't you dare say that again. Maine tumse pehle bhi kaha hai aur aaj bhi kehta hun, ki tumhe kuch nahi hoga, (pain was visible in his eyes, which were red) Kuch Bhi Nahi. Aur maine yeh shadi tumse isliye nahi ki kyun ki mujhe tumhare liye bura lag raha hai. No, maine tumse shadi kisi aur wajah se ki hai, aur main yeh wajah tumhe tab batunga jab tum bilkul thik ho jao gi.
Maanvi: (looking at him with questioning eyes) Abhi kyun nahi bata sakhte?
Viraat: (smiles at her) Kyun ki abhi shayad tum samjh nahi paogi.
Maanvi: (confused) Matlab?
Viraat: Kuch nahi. Chalo ab tum bhi (hand extented in front of her) mujhse vada karo ki tum mujhe kabhi chodh ke nahi jaogi, kabhi haar nahi manogi.
Maanvi: (placed her hand in his) Pakka wala vada.
Viraat: (smiles) Good, abhi tum chalo so jao. (gets up from the bed)
Maanvi: (poutingly) Par mujhe neend nahi aa rahi hai.
Viraat: (looking at her) Aise kaise neend nahi aa rahi? (making her lie down, by her shoulders) Chalo leth jao(lie down).
Maanvi: Par..
Viraat: Do as I say Maanvi.

Maanvi without arguing, lied down on the bed, looking at Viraat, while pouting cutely.

Viraat: (suppressing his smile)  Aise shakal mat banao. Aakhein band karo.

Maanvi closed her eyes, as Viraat started caressing her hair lovingly. After a mintue or so, she opened her one eye to look at Viraat, who was looking at her with a admiring smile.

Viraat: Maanvi, aankhein band.

Maanvi immediatedly closed her eyes. She didn't know when sleep engulfed her. Viraat, after admiring a sleeping Maanvi, walked towards the sofa and lied down.

Viraat: (to himself) I hope, kal sab thik ho.

And he slept after taking one last glance at a sleeping Maanvi.

Viraat: (placing his hand on hers) Ghabrao mat, sab thik hoga, main hun na.

Maanvi and Viraat were sitting outside of Doctor Bakshi's cabin. Maanvi was looking around worriedly and nervously.

Nurse: Mr. & Mrs. Vadhera, ab aap dono andar jaa sakhte hain.
Viraat: (smiles at her) Thank You.

Maanvi wrapped her hands around Viraat's arm tightly, as they entered Dr. Bakshi's cabin.

Maanvi: (whisperes) Mujhe bahut dar lag raha hai Viraat.
Viraat: Maanvi, relax. Kuch nahi hoga.

Dr. Bakshi smiled as he saw Viraat and Maanvi, who was holding onto Viraat's arm, walking in the door.

Dr. Bakshi: (smiles) Hello Maanvi, kaisi ho tum? (looking at Viraat) And you are?
Viraat: (extended his hand out) Oh Hi Doctor, main Maanvi ka husband hun.
Dr. Bakshi: (shake his hand) Oh Hi, (a bit surprised/confused) but last time, when I met her she was single, nai?
Viraat: Ya, (looking at Maanvi) we just got married.
Dr. Bakshi: Oh congrats. (looking at both of them)  Love marriage?

Maanvi looked up at Dr. Bakshi and then at Viraat.

Viraat: Um, (smiles) yes Doctor, (looking at Maanvi) Love Marriage.
Dr. Bakshi: Wow that's really nice. So Maanvi, taiyaar ho apni dusri chemotherapy ke liye?

Maanvi tightly clutched Viraat's hand.

Viraat: Dr. she's really nervous.
Dr. Bakshi: I understand, shuruwat mein aisa hota hai. But Maanvi tum toh bahut hi strong ladki ho na, jaise tumne pehli therapy paas karli, waise hi yeh bhi karlogi. (smiles) Don't worry.
Viraat: (looking at Maanvi) Haan Maanvi.
Dr. Bakshi: (to the nurse) Sister, Maanvi ko kapde dedo. (looking at Maanvi) Jao Maanvi.
Maanvi: (nervous/scared) Viraat...
Viraat: (hands on her cheeks/looking at her lovingly) Main yahin hun, tumhe sirf kapde badalne hai, aur fir yahin aana hai. (smiles) Jao.
Maanvi: (worriedly) Tum kahin nahi jaoge na?
Viraat: Nahi jaunga baba, main yahin hun. Jao.

Maanvi slowly, without moving her gaze away from Viraat, walked towards a room.

Dr. Bakshi: (smiles at Viraat) Bahut pyaar karte ho na usse?
Viraat: Ji?
Dr. Bakshi: You know, maine apni career mein bahut aise paitents dekhe hai jo apni bemari ki wajah se apni family ko kho dete hai. But Maanvi is very lucky, yeh jante huye ki usse cancer hai, tumne uska haath thama, kash sab tumhari tarah sochte.
Viraat: Dr. maine kisi cancer paitent se shadi nahi ki hai, maine usse shadi ki hai jisse main dil-o-jaan se chahta hun. Mujhe isse koi farak nahi padta ki woh hamesha ke liye mere saath rahe ya nahi, mujhe farak padta hai toh iss baat se ki kya main usske saath hamesha rahunga ya nahi. Jab bhi usse meri zarurat ho, kya main uski zarurat puri kar paunga ya nahi.
Dr. Bakshi: That's really sweet of you Mr...
Viraat: Viraat, Viraat Vadhera.
Dr. Bakshi: Viraat Vadhera...(looking at Maanvi, who was coming out of the room) Lo Maanvi bhi aa gayi.

Viraat turned around towards Maanvi direction. She walked hurriedly towards him and held his arm tightly.

Viraat: (concerned) Kya hua? You ok?

Maanvi just nodded her head possitively.

Dr. Bakshi: Acha toh ab hume tumhare chemo session shuru karne honge Maanvi, come.

Viraat looked at Maanvi's pale face.

Viraat: Maanvi, jao.
Maanvi: (looking at Viraat, pleadingly) Tum bhi chalo please.
Viraat: (looking at Dr. Bakshi) Dr. Bakshi, kya main bhi Maanvi ke saath andar aa sakhta hun, woh bahut dari hui hai.
Dr. Bakshi: (smiles) Ya its fine, come.
Viraat: (smiles at Maanvi) Chalo.

All three of them walked in the hospital room. Maanvi gulped as she looked around the room worriedly. Viraat looked at Maanvi and gave her a assuring smile as she looked into his eyes.

Dr. Bakshi: (walking towards the bed) Come Maanvi, lie down.
Viraat: Aao.

Viraat, protectively wrapped his hand around her shoulder and dragged her towards the hospital bed.

Viraat: (making her sit on the bed) Maanvi, bahet(sit) jao.
Maanvi: Tum yahin ho na?
Viraat: Haan, main yahin hun. Lie down.

Maanvi lied down on the bed, still holding onto his hand, tightly. She looked horrified as she saw Dr. Bakshi hands, which had a needle.

Dr. Bakshi: Ok Maanvi, apna haath aage lao.
Maanvi: (sitting up on the bed) Nahi...Nahi, Viraat, mujhe sui(needle) se bahut dar lagta hai. Nahi please nahi. (hid her face in Viraat's chest, as he sat on the bed, beside her)
Viraat: (wrapped his hands around her back) Maanvi, tumhe thik hona hai na, toh yeh injection toh lagana hi padega na.
Maanvi: (holding him as tight as she could) Nahi Viraat, please.
Dr. Bakshi: Maanvi, tum pehli baar toh itni nahi dari thi, aaj achanak kya ho gaya?
Viraat: (looking at Dr. Bakshi) Dr. main baat karta hun.

Viraat pulled her away from his chest, cupping her cheeks in her hands.

Viraat: (looking into her eyes) Maanvi, dekho isse kuch nahi hoga.
Maanvi: (holding his hands, which were on her cheeks) Mujhe dar lagta hai Viraat.
Viraat: (looking at her assuringly) Maanvi trust me, bilkul dard nahi hoga, I promise.
Maanvi: (moved his hands away) Nahi, main nahi lagaungi, (hugs him tightly, yet again) please Viraat, mujhe yahan se le jao.
Viraat: (stroking her hair, lovingly) Maanvi, tum toh meri strong Sherni ho na, tum ek needle se dar gayi? Arey yeh toh kuch bhi nahi hai.
Maanvi: (pulling him close to her) Nahi, nahi Viraat.
Viraat: Acha thik hai, koi nahi lagaye ga tumhe injection.
Maanvi: (breaks the hug) Sach mein?
Viraat: (smiles) Haan, koi nahi lagaye ga. Tum meri ek baat mano gi?
Maanvi: Kaun si baat?
Viraat: Pehle apni aakhein band karo.
Maanvi: Aakhein? Kyun?
Viraat: Mujhe par bharosa hai na?
Maanvi: (nodding her head possitively) Ha..haan.
Viraat: Toh aankhein band karo.

Maanvi closed her eyes after looking at Viraat and Dr. Bakshi. Viraat gestured Dr. Bakshi to give Maanvi the injection as he will distract her.

Viraat: Ab socho ki tum,...ek bahut hi pyaari jagah par khadi ho, jahan bahut saari Pariyan(angels) hain. Aur un Pariyon mein, tumhari Di bhi hai, jo apni bahein phayelaye huye tumhe apne paas bula rahi hai. Kuch dikha?
Maanvi: (smiles) Haan.
Viraat: Ab tum apni Di ke paas bhagte huye jaa rahi ho...Dikha?
Maanvi: (smiling widely) Haan.

Dr. Bakshi just smiled looking at the cute couple, infront of him.

Viraat: Tum muskurate huye apni Di ke gale lag jaati ho. Dikha?
Maanvi: Haan.
Viraat: Ab tumhe kya dikh raha hai? (signalling Dr. Bakshi to give her the injection)
Maanvi: Main Di ko hug kar rahi hun, aur baki sab Pariyan hume dekh rahi hai. Main Di se alag hoti hun, (frowns) par hayran ho jaati hun.

Viraat looked at Dr. Bakshi as he inserted the needle into her skin and pushed the plunger.

Viraat: Kyun?
Maanvi: (confused/worried) Kyun ki, kyun ki woh meri Di nahi hai. Woh koi aur hai.

Dr. Bakshi, slowly removed the needle from her skin.

Viraat: Kaun hai?
Maanvi: (trying to look at that person's face in her dreams) Woh...woh..(finally saw that person's face) woh tum ho.
Dr. Bakshi: Ho gaya.

Maanvi snapped open her eyes wide and looked at Dr. Bakshi with questioning eyes.

Viraat: (smiles) Dekha Maanvi, tumhe injection bhi lag gayi aur tumhe pata bhi nahi chala.
Maanvi: (looking at her arm) Lag gaya, par mujhe pata kaise nahi chala.
Viraat: Main kaha tha na, bilkul bhi dard nahi hoga.
Dr. Bakshi: Very Good Maanvi, ab tum yahan aram se leth jao, main nurse ko andar bhejta hun. Mr. Vadhera tum Maanvi ko do ghante(hours) mein ghar le jaa sakhte ho.
Viraat: (smiles at Dr. Bakshi) Ji Thank you.
Dr. Bakshi: And Maanvi apni davaiyan time se leti rehna, (strictly) I don't want any carelessness. Ok?
Viraat: Don't worry Doctor, (looking at Maanvi) main isse dant ke davaiyan deta rahunga.
Dr. Bakshi: Good. Ok then, main chalta hun. Take care Maanvi.
Maanvi: Ji.

Dr. Bakshi left the room, leaving Maanvi and Viraat behind.

Viraat: (sitting on the bed, beside her) You ok Maanvi?
Maanvi: (looking at her) Haan, main thik hun.
Viraat: Ok, ab tum thodi der tak so jao, jab hume ghar jaana hoga main tumhe utha dunga.
Maanvi: Nahi, mujhe neend nahi aa rahi.
Viraat: Maanvi tumhe aram karna hoga, warna agar hum ghar gaye aur tum weak lagogi toh Bhabhi ko shak ho jaiye ga na. Chalo so jao.
Maanvi: (looking at him cutely) Tum kahin jao ge toh nahi?
Viraat: (smiles at her) Nahi jaunga, khush? Ab so jao.
Maanvi: (extended her hand) Apna haath mujhe do, mujhe tum par bharosa nahi hai.
Viraat: Arey, abhi thodi der pehle toh kaha tha ki tumhe mujhpe pura bharosa hai, ab kya ho gaya?
Maanvi: Hai bhi aur nahi bhi. Chalo haath do.
Viraat: Uff Bandariya hi rahogi...(placing his hand on hers) Yeh lo.

Maanvi held his hand and placed it under her head. She immediatedly fell asleep due to the heavy medicine. Viraat smiled, looking at her sleeping peacefully, and stroked her hair lovingly. Just then, the nurse came in with a tray in her hands.

Nurse: (looking at Viraat) Aap kaun hain?
Viraat: (finger on the lips) Shhh...dhere please.
Nurse: Sorry, aap?
Viraat: Main (looking at Maanvi) inka Pati hun.
Nurse: Oh ok, (giving him a piece of paper) yeh inke davaiyon ke list hai, aap apne ghar jaate waqt inhe le lijiyega.
Viraat: (take the paper) Ji, thank you.

The nurse walked out of the room. After three hours, Viraat woke up Maanvi and they both went back home after getting her medicine.
