Touched by the love stories of both of you. You are right love has divine intervention. I never understood why I love him and I doubt he ever understood either but we do anyway even though we are poles apart.

he had left, angry and frustrated; furious with her... with the night. with himself. and she'd come down to their room, to the bed bedecked for love where a hundred doubts in the head had taken away everything her heart was sure of. she reached for a petal, such knowledge in its seamless velvet. what does a rose know that makes it so unafraid of death? so eager to live and be beautiful even if for a few short hours? strange thoughts wandered through her. there was a pain rising. deep in the pit of her stomach, searing; it surged through her heart. and she heard again.

"that i love you, dammit!"

in the midst of the mayhem, the breaking of furniture, the kerosene splashed violently, the fire being lit, the hoisting into strong impetuous arms, the crazy spin of pheras, in all the tumult of emotions, their voices rising, in all of that so much had been said, yet now only one thing remained.

words that refused to leave with him; that clung to her thoughts. jo tum mehsoos karti ho... jo main mehsoos karta hoon. her heart beat recorded the words, they hastened, they slowed. a frown gathered on her forehead.

that i love you, dammit!

she heard the words as though he were there, right next to her, storm in his eyes. rituals, customs, traditions, if nothing has any meaning, what has meaning according to you, she'd flared at him, ignited by his anger, wracked by uncertainty, "kis cheez ka koi matlab hai?"

and he'd shot back, on that terrace where love was to have come one night but instead betrayal had usurped the hour. standing there, facing his wife, his patni, he claimed his moment back without knowing he was; he told her the one thing that had meaning. that had matter. that had koi matlab. and that didn't give a damn for any evidence, any witness, any proof of innocence, anything, it just was. and that's all that mattered.

her eyes felt a sudden moistness. she knew how hard it must have been for him to say those words. how hard to just walk away after saying them. she'd seen the gleam in his eyes when he gave her the gift and commanded her to go get changed.

is that any way to treat your "patni," she'd pouted at him, and left. when she saw the beautiful red lehenga glimmering with star like sequins, simple yet sensuous, classic but not usual, her heart had felt a tumble. this was chosen by him, by him for her, it had sung. she felt precious, beautiful. and she felt the touch of his desire. that night in the guest house, his hand on her cheek wandering, meandering still in her subconscious, that feel... yes, something of that touch here, right here.

it was a delicate heady feeling. she hugged it close as she stood before the mirror holding the soft folds of red against her heart for just a little while before beginning to slip into the clothes.

she was surprised, there was no dupatta.

her brow puckered. surely, he knew she couldn't wear such an alluring blouse without her... then she realised. a little smiled peeped out unbidden. he was playing with her.

a thrill in her at the thought. yet at once too, an uncanny fear; descended out of nowhere. what should she do? oh, she was so unsure of all of this. outside, when she peeped hesitantly from behind the wardrobe and he turned, the look in his eyes made her knees buckle. how could a man have so much love in his eyes? was this her rakshas, her laad governor. but the fear had a stronger hold than the melting things in her.

he came to her; in wonder, in gratitude almost it seemed, and led her ever so tenderly by her hand into the room. that's when her eyes fell upon the flowers. virginal white, deep passionate red, fragrance of innocence and knowing mingling in the air, tuberoses and roses across their bed, breathtaking. suhag raat.

he had planned suhag raat. "tum kitni intelligent ho," he'd teased her after asking her to name all the wedding rituals, "peechhe se shuru kartein hain." we'll do them all he'd promised, only we'll do them in reverse order. and he'd meant it!

laad governor kahin ke.

she'd almost started smiling, but then felt the tremors assail her breath again. unknown fear. she remembered the moments as she played with the flowers, just sitting there, waiting. waiting for what though? he's left in extreme anger, and when he did that, it usually meant a long drive in the dark. in seclusion, in his hermetic suv, away from all.

a breeze rustled in the night, ripplingthe water in the pool, lifting and entering the room, rustling the petals.

a night came unasked into the room and took her in its arms. a dark, riven night, shredded by suspicion, accusation, and an unthinkable ultimatum.

tum mujhse shadi karogi. abhi. issi waqt. nahi toh... you will marry me now, or else your sister's wedding will not go ahead. yet again.

there was clear naked hatred in a voice. no mercy in the hands that dragged her up the steps of a temple. no tenderness as they went around her neck and tied a mangalsutra, and dragged a streak of sindoor down the parting of her hair. the winds howled, bells rang raging, the world spun around as dreams died; and yet agni stood witness, alongside god, and the mantras chanted their benevolence, their blessing. there was no stopping the night.

her hand went up and touched her mangalsutra. black beads strung on pure, lustrous, unimpeachable 24 carat gold... sign of marriage. hamesha. she'd asked him that night if he understood the meaning of this necklace, and the streak of vermillion he'd hurled at her with not a word of explanation or love.

why? she asked herself this tonight, why are you wearing this thread of eternal tie? why could you never take it off? why did you wear it that day? do you understand its ...?

some answers come to you even before the question is asked. this one rushed in from somewhere just above the place where breath comes from. she knew why she had agreed to go to that temple that night. and why he had insisted on marriage, though a contract, but marriage, nonetheless. he hadn't asked her to leave the city, or tried to buy her off. he could have done that. especially, since he believed she could stoop that low.

but no.

he had dragged her to him, to him alone. in all the anger, the destruction, the bitterness, the shattering of hope, of trust. he had adhered, not thrown asunder.

and she had let him.

would he have done that if she were another woman. or she have gone along if he were another man? she shuddered at the mere thought. and she felt his touch, his featherlight murmur on the nape of her neck. a shiver in her breath, a tautening across her body. heady scent of flowers.

she picked up a rose petal and felt a strange calm certainty. at last. at last she lifted her gazed and looked at radha in the embrace of her eternal partner, krishna. at last she understood.

when he returned, the room was empty. he'd thought, as usual, moving through the night. he'd managed to see why she was not ready. he couldn't bear to see even a shred of distrust or fear in her eyes. never again. he'd do whatever it takes to make her feel whole, complete, loved, and in the way she wanted. he knew what her dream wedding was, he'd heard her telling her friends that story made of lies of her perfect wedding, it shall be hers, it shall be true.

but where was she?

she remembered how gently, how with tender care and held back yearning, he'd placed that missing dupatta on her head. it felt like he completed the act of marriage at last.

i will not let you go, i will take you to the place that is sacred to you if notme, i will tie you with signs that mean eternity and say it's only for six months, i will not let you go. and because you know my heart, breath, sinew, because i know yours, we will find our way to each other, passing through every travail, every torrent along the way, i'll find you, you'll find me. and every dream of yours will be my duty to fulfill, every desire of yours i'll cherish, and make mine, your respect will be resting place, and i will protect it with all i am, let me place this dupatta on you with this promise, for all that means anything to me at all is

that i love you dammit.

she'd hidden from him the sudden thrill his fingers on her bare earlobe had evoked, when he placed the diaphanous veil on her head. she sighed and closed her eyes.

he ran outside looking for her. and there she lay by the pool, on the chair where so much had happened; mud in her eyes, her dhadkane racing, payal on her shyly extended ankle... she opened her eyes.

he wanted to say so much, yet there he stood. unable to form the words. she walked up to him.

he remembered a girl, scared, on a ramp another night. and then another... when the wind rose tossing up her hair in the crumbling guest house, eternity in those torn moments... there she was by this poolside backing away and his gaze riveted on her trembling lips... and then in that temple tears streaming down her eyes as the bells clanged, the fire raged and he lifted his hand to...

he couldn't bear the pain. he closed his eyes.

she stepped right up to him and gently placed her lips on his.

without volition his arms reached out and went around her. and she held him to her, her arms stretching out, her back arching, pulling him closer. her dearest one, her man, her husband. he held her lips in the sweetest kiss. but then her hand moved and took hold of his, only to guide it gently to her heart. she had no other way of telling him what she wanted to. she was his wife, his patni, and she wanted to be his. that was all.

he lifted her in his arms as he had done so many times before, and brought her to that bed he'd set up with such anticipation; out of all things, a suitcase packed with a whole suhag raat. the innocence of rajanigandha wrapped around the seduction of the rose. he laid her gently among the flowers once more, and as he made to move away, she drew him down with lissome longing arms. no need to close the door, let the poolside watch, let the wind blow, let's just make love. say nothing, just love me.

but how did you know, asked his dhadkan.
bas, pata chal jaata hai... sometimes, like those luscious, openly sensual petals, you just know, said hers.

iss pyaar mein sahi aur galat ka koi matlab nahin... agar matlab hai toh sirf iss baat ka... ki main tumse hamesha hamesha

a story dedicated to asr and khsuhi this valentine's day. i have long felt that the suhag raat scene, one of my favourites, was unfair to a true man, a magnificent man in love. and also his woman. it deserved another story. this one maybe? hope you enjoyed. and here's to pyaar, why bother to give it a name. happy v day, and memorable v night.

Indi Indi INDI!!! i'm at a loss for words! you do that to me alot. I really mean it! Episode 53:

"Come on ASR, itna kuchh ho gaya aur tum kahe rahe ho "realx", mein idhar ro rahi hun, aur tumhe faraq he nahi pad raha" La's words made something click in Arnav, he knows La's tears don't stir him up like Khushi's, something deep from within shakes up when Khushi sheds them,

seems like he is thinking to himself, why so much farq padta hai (makes a difference) with her and Farq nahi pad raha with La? He cares for La very much, in fact he felt terrible for her when Nani embarrassed her at dinner and even fought back with Nani after she called La a liar, "Lavaanya kam se kam try to kar rahi hai (she is atleast trying)_...Nani, ab sach mein bahut ho gaya!" Perhaps his reaction to La's tears is normal ASR behavior but how he gets lost here with Khushi's thoughts, maybe of her tears or of that locked door "hamesha ke liye..." is no ASR, it through and through Arnav. Completely oblivious to La's complaints while she makes her way to her mirror, while she is in front of her mirror,

when she walks back to him, and even when she cuddles to his arm, she get his attention, but it's a delayed reaction

"I know ASR, as long as you're with me, both us can handle any situation" ASR has to think for a sec before he nods yes to a hopeful La, before leaving her. Barun at his best "oblivious" face again...pure brilliance!

At the GH, things are bit tense,
Payal and Buaji are doing some bookkeeping and learn that they havn't broke-even. Khushi walks in and asks "now what happened Buaji?"
Buaji as usual speaks her mind "you stay quiet! this is all your fault!" mocking her niece "dukaan chalai ha (gonna run a store)" and further yelling at her for giving free sweets to kids, "badi aaye daan data, heh (big charity giver, heh!)" all a bit comic but the frustration was a serious matter since the family just can' t afford to go into a deeper hole.
My favorite eternal optimist, Khushi reminds them that " tomorrow is a new day" and later she gets them to dance 😊

[This is one aspect of Khushi they have kept consistent and i'm oh so grateful for, Sanaya was at her Khushi-best today, from the the dancing to the wishing, young, vibrant, colorful Khushi]

Mami cries a river because she's insulted and hurt by Nani's remarks of beswaad khana (tasteless food). Mama scolds her for getting involved to whitch mami replies "aap to sutupai kar lo " while wipping😆. So sweet ho aakaash tries to consoler her. Nani fianlly puts a stop to her, "khana boora nahi bana rah(food wasn't bad), but i had to do this to bring the trueth out. She laid down the rule that noon can help Ms.Kasyap "i hope everyonoe understands" and she leaves the table also...noone got to eat dinner, poor mami, all that work for nothing

Stars are a big part of this story, not only because they aligned so magnificently to bring these lovers together, but they played a big part in bonding the two.

An orphaned girl believes her parents became a star and are watching over her, a concept that an orphaned boy would otherwise be quick to dismiss, but he knows her pain much too well, there is nothing but compassion for her. months later, in a moment of weakness he would turn to the girl and ask her like he was a 7 yr old, "To kya woh sach mein tare ban ja te hai?... meri maa mujhe dekh kar khush hai? (so do they really become stars, is my mom happy to see me)" he had started to believe her, it becomes a common ground for two personalities who otherwise need no reason to clash.
Today, a shooting star connects the two in beautiful parallel scenes.

"jiji tut ta hua tara!" Khushi yells out for Payal who runs out immediately
"Kya tuta, kaha tuta, kaisen tuta!!!!" 🤣 buaji run out worried something more valuable broke.😆

The star crossed lovers both witness the shooting star, She couldn't be more excited and her belief strong in these stars, after all her parents are up there, while he deems all of this rubbish and tells Anjali to "Relax Di, its just a shooting star, don't get too happy"

But as usual Anjali gets her way and tells him "jaldi se wish maango (quickly make a wish)" she puts her hand over his eyes while Khushi closes hers and wishes away.

The soft breeze pick ups on both of their faces, becoming a messenger between the two...touching Arnav's face, it brings the essence of Khushi to him, he pictures the locked door and Khushi's words "Hamaari shakal" (my face) dekhna nahi chahte na aap (don't want to right)"...to see her shakal is his wish, for her to come back is his wish...

but his ego forces the denial to emerge, "Di, mujhe kuchh nahi chahiye, I don't believe in this stuff, aur jo tara khud khatam ho raha hai, vo mujhe kya dega, and if the star could fulfill wishes hen it would've asked for itself already"

hmmm his need to add the last line, certainly there is ASR sarcasm in there, but there is more resentment, she left "hamesha ke liye (forever)" and he is helpless now, how is a shooting star going to help? He walks off

But always his well wisher, Anjali doens't miss a chance to wish upon a shooting star for a cure to his painful heart that would make way for his happiness, his Khushi

When Payal asks khushi what she wished for "Kuchh khaas nani...just that we all stay together, and happy and also that we get a big order tomorrow" her first answer of "nothing special" had a lot of weight to it. She didn't want to say anything until Buaji teased her. I believe the wind chimed in while her eyes were closed, just as it did for Arnav, in addition to the things she mentions, surely he came in to her mind during this wish, but unlike Arnav, she is sure her wishes will come true

The wind still whistles and wakes up a "sleeping handsome", actually don't think he was really sleeping. Slowly he walks over to his window where the wind was calling for him, giving life to his drapes.

He tries to tame the drapes, only its happy flying triggered memories of Khushi's duputta. is there anything that doesn't remind him of her???

The romance in his eyes on his face as he held the drapery, the anguish..UFF UFF UFF (Only Sobti would make me wish i was a curtain! )

as these thoughts of her dupata entered, seems he forgot to shove the drapes to the side and held on to them instead.
He has a the tightest of grips on her dupatta, I mean his drape, like he never wants to let go...

He looks outward, under the moon light, only soft tender feelings he breaths out, the water reflects so heavenly on his face bringing a certain calmness, a coolness, this dhoop(heated like the sun) of a man takes in the gorgeous chandini raat (moon) that the whooshing wind has brought him to ...

Gonna stop here, just feels right today not to let him be interrupted, EST, there is still 1/2 hr worth of Valentines day left so 😊 wonderful episode to disect for me today, filled with shooting stars, wishes, the most handsome man by his pool side under the moonlight...looking like a greek God...sigh and a beautiful girl under the sky looking as beautiful as ever (even more so than the red saaris for me)... perfectly apt for these star crossed lovers and the perfect recipe to awake the romance in any girl.

The ambiance created by the makers both outside the GH and RM is pure MAGIC! they put the romance and in air and HOW? we could smell, feel and breathe it in! marvelous👏👏👏

left out Shyam's stomache turning scene in bed in honor of today but just want to mention Abhaas Mahta's acting there deserves and applaus, what he did with his voice modulations create draw a "feel sick" feeling in the audienc, was really good.

DROOL CORNER!!!!! gonna have fun with this one, including 52 as well :)

❤️ He woke up with his eyes lusting for romance ❤️☺️

the episode starts of with nani entering arnav's room looking for laxmi...she intentionally ignores arnav and lavanya ( i might just call then arla from now on)...he goes to laxmi and said there you are, you have a habit of going to places where you have no business being...and she gives a side way look to arla, hinting about la's presence in the room...arnav knew what she was doing but la was clueless...she was going to leave when she notices la...and nani was like your room in on the first floor did you get lost, la was about to explain why she was there but was cut off by nani telling arnav that sleeping late is bad for health. she tells la she will show her to her room and said to her that is is bad to sleep late... nani told la to come to arti tomorrow and do not be late...she also told her to take a shower since the pooja will not be accepted...la said she will get up early and la then said good night to nani, laxmi and arnav...then nani and arnav had a stare off...i think nani won the stare off.
😆 arla--------? where did you get that La and Arnav-----oh God
🤣🤣🤣

as nani was walking off, she told laxmi that she knows la will not wake up on time...Mami ji hear this and said she will try to wake her up...in her sleep she kept saying she has to wake up early to wake up la...mama ji heard and said not to mess with the situation.

the scene switches to khushi and shyam having a conversation on the phone...and shyam was wondering where she was, khushi said there were out and shyam told her that he thought they went to lucknow...khushi said they almost did but did not because devi maiya stopped her...shyam was hoping khushi would say that she did not go because of him but she did not...she mentioned that she opened a business and shyam said it will do great because her hand has magic in them. Shyam said that he would have been said if she left, and khushi made a face like "did i hear that right" shyam changed the conversation and hung up the phone saying he has work...Anjali comes and shyam became a poet...anjali noticed that one phone call and you are in a good mood...he said it was because of the person who called him...anjali made a weird face hearing that. How long will shyam not get caught

Arggg 😡 He is becoming creepy each day

in the gupta house, khushi was saying that we have to make few sweets today because we did not sell alot the day before...bua ji was like no, we have to sell the old sweets first, khushi said that some of them are getting old...bua ji gave up and said do what ever you want...but she said there will be no lunch and dinner...khushi was shocked and bua ji said these sweets are your meals. Khushi had a brilliant idea to distribute the sweets to all the hotels, like her dad did when he first started and if they like it we can supply to them...she is like we will start off with the 2 stars, then the 3 stars and then the 5 stars...and they will all go crazy for the mithais!!!! (i love how she dreams big) bua ji and payal were skeptical at first but then gave in into this idea.
I love my Khushi👏😊in this avatar

Now in the RM, it is aarti time...everyone is getting ready for it...mami ji was going to wake up la but nani ji saw her and stopped her from going. at the mandir, nani said she will give la and extra 10 minutes so people won't think i am giving her a hard time...anjali asks for mami's help to get la...mami said she forgot her bindi but mama ji is like your wearing one...then she said because of his old age, he cannot see...she was about to leave when he said use the sindoor and make it a tikka...mami was like she will get a rash..mama ji did not know what she said and anjali said to go get the bindi...mami ji wakes up la...and la is wondering how she will get ready fast. La appears to the mandir and aarti starts...mami ji was praising her on how she got ready fast...la said she is good at it...4 minutes make up, three minutes to get dressed and two minutes to come...and mami was wondering how she took a shower in one minute...la said she did not, she will after the pooja as she is use to long beauty baths...Nani heard and got all mad...and the episode ends

La is cute though in her own way.Mamiji and her facewa too much stuff...Love Khushi and her big dreams👏

the episode is a filler and trying to drag the story till the maha episode on saturday

Thnx Indi.I love the original too but when all the songs come to ARSHI then original becomes past and thats all I remember.😆 just like every other song in all the VMs that is so strange whenever that song comes and touches my ears only these two come infront of our eyes.❤️

As Valentine's is not complete with out Diwali scene for Katelyn, its most incomplete for me without "Lagi Shart" I just had to make some time for "Lagi Shart" today, my most favorite romantic moment filled with the perfect amount of shararat (mischievousness), gabhrahat (bit of fear), dares and loads of desire.. also fueled by jealousy on one side, the best part ofcourse 😊 a smooch 😳shot to perfection by the magical poolside with the most fitting music.
She's even wearing pink.
