I took a deep breath, embracing myself for the worst. If the principle actually knew, I surely wouldn't last another day. Crossing my fingers, I walked in. When I saw no one in sight, I turned to face KD, raising my eyebrows. His hair was over his eyes, making it difficult for me to see his expression. But his mouth was turned upside down, so I immediate knew he was frowning.

"He's in his office, stupid." I turned to face KD. My stomach was still burning with anxiety. I was too humiliated to face him. But I knew the truth; he should be humiliated to face me. How old were we, 10? Teenagers don't snitch. "What? Do you expect me to lead you there too?"

"Actually KD, why don't you do so? Because I'm not planning on '" "Shut up, stupid," KD said, interrupting me halfway. I gazed at him, staring at his pink colored lips. Slowly, they curled up into a smile. I glared at him, fixing my hair. I was beyond embarrassed, and anyways, what was so funny that he had to laugh? I growled as KD.

"Did you just growl, Chicklet? You know, you really should get to the principal's office. You don't want to be in more trouble than you already are." I squeezed my clothes, gripping onto my heavy shirt as water dripped on the floor. If I was going to be in trouble, at least I should wear proper clothing. I wasn't going to enter the principal's office all soaked up with rain water. Sure, I was stupid, but not that stupid. KD suddenly burst out laughing, causing me to turn my head towards his direction. He looked at me and smirked. "Gosh dude, I was only joking. Can't believe you actually fell for it. Anyways, you need help cleaning up?"

I looked at him in amusement. At first, I thought he was joking about joking. But I didn't want to get there. I was still in shock, so I couldn't exactly find the right words to say.

"Y-Yeah. Um, sure." He held my hand and led me towards the stairs. I felt uncomfortable. My body was getting tenser by the minute. When we finally reached my dorm room, KD and I went in.Diksha wasn't there. Thank god. I wouldn't want her seeing me like this. I especially didn't want her seeing me with KD. KD handed me a towel. At first, I was confused. It was my room and he managed to find a towel so quickly. But I just nodded in response, still shocked from the previous experience. My body didn't feel tense anymore. It felt at ease. I wondered why.

"You should change. Wear something blue. I think it suits you fine." My eyes widened. I really wasn't used to KD being so nice to me. It felt strange. I didn't know why but I wanted him to be mean again. At least it wouldn't cause all this awkwardness.

"Uh, s-sure." I felt really, really stupid now. I was suddenly stuttering while talking to him. I never stuttered. No. KD couldn't be making me feel that way. He's a stupid, arrogant jerk. I shouldn't be behaving this way with him. Especially since he's Parag's brother.I quickly grabbed a blue shirt and black leggings. Then, I headed towards the bathroom. After getting changed, I went outside. My hair was still messy, but I didn't care right now. Maybe my messy hair would drive KD away. I quickly made my way towards the exit. KD wasn't anywhere. I sighed in relief. I was happy, a bit. But the other side of me was saying otherwise. Quickly making my way towards my room, I took a deep breath. KD was sitting on my chair, tapping the table impatiently.

"You could leave, you know?" "No, I want to take advantage of you." I rolled my eyes, placing my wet clothes on a bag. Then, I got seated on my bed. The awkwardness was coming back. It started feeling strange all over again. KD got up from the chair and got seated next to me on the bed. I was expecting him to say something like, 'oh, the bed. Perfect place to start.' But he didn't say that. Instead, he just sat there, totally silent.

"KD '" He interrupted me. Again. "What happened between you and Parag? I really don't expect an answer." I looked at him with a shocked expression plastered on my face. Why was KD so curious about my relationship with Parag? It was scaring me a bit. "Why don't you expect an answer?"

"Because it's none of my business," KD replied, nonchalantly. "Then why are you asking the question."

"Stop avoiding the topic, Kiya!" I looked down at my hands, moving my feet around uncomfortably. I didn't want to tell KD anything about Parag and me. Parag was nothing like KD. He was sweeter, nicer, and boyfriend material. KD wasn't. KD didn't want a girlfriend.

"You should leave," I mumbled. KD gazed at me. For a brief second, his expression softened. But then, his face looked expressionless. He quickly got up from my bed and started heading towards the door. Then, he did something I really wasn't expecting. He shot a glare towards my direction and said those three words. "Today never happened."

those words shocked me. whats wrong with that guy... i cant understand...at times hes a jerk then he suddenly turns helpful and then he is back to the jerk mood. ohh god.. i better stop thinking of him and go to bed!

PRECAP: Parag forcefullly tries to kiss Kiya as she says No to him and she pushes him and runs away with tears!
