PART 10

Arnav's room..

There were heavy rain in Dehli and its quite cold in RM.. Arnav was sleeping on his bed.. His eye open suddenly when he heard the sound of thunder strike.. He check the time on his phone and it show 3am.. He wake up and thought of checking Khushi but was shocked when he didn't found her sleeping at the recliner.. He moves to the bathroom and she was not there… He slide the poolside window's curtain was shock for the second time to see a blanket and pillow on the floor.. It was wet due to the rain.. The rain water was pouring in his pool and the floor was terribly wet.. It's a open air pool garden where there were no roof or mirror which can avoid the rain to flow in.. He slowly open the door and walk towards the wet blanket and pillow.. He look around to find her.. His foot glue on the floor when he saw her in this state.. His eye widen and his heart scream out..

Arnav: "Khushiii…" she was shivering in cold.. half of her body was drenches in rain.. She was seating below a roof near the second window.. The roof was not enough to protect her from the rain.. her hand was circle on her knee and her face was hide in her knee.. He walked towards her.. "Khushi.." He shook her body..

She look at him.. When she feels the touch? Her lips was trembling and tear are companying her fate..

Arnav: "What are you doing here..?" he place his hand on her shoulder.. But she waves off in anger.. She avoid looking at him.. "Khushi.. It's raining.. Let's go inside.. You will fall sick.." He tried to convince her..

Khushi: "Aap ko kiya farak parta hai.. (What difference does it make to you..?".. her eye was shedding tear..

Arnav: "Farak parta hai damn it.." He shouts..

Khushi: "Kiyu.. (Why?)"..

Arnav: "Because I.." His words stuck in his throat.. He doesn't know what he should answer her..

Khushi: "Please leave me alone.." She plead..

Arnav: "I'm not going to leave you alone and I won't let you seat alone in this heavy rain.. So stop arguing and follow me inside.." He tried to make her stand on her feet even she was waving his hand.. But all her effort went vain in front of his strength..

Khushi: "I said leave me alone.." she waves of his hand from her shoulder.. Both of them was drenches in rain.. Water was streaming on their face.. her tear mixed with the rain water..

Arnav: "I'm not leaving you.. What if you fall sick..? What if something happen to you..? What if I.."

Khushi(Interrupt): "You should happy.. I'm going through all this.. This is what you want.. You want me to feel the pain and I'm feeling it.. My heart are wrenching in pain.. and you should happy now.. Just give me few days.." She stop her words..

Arnav: "What you mean..? Few days.. For what..?" He was confused

KhushI: "I will leave you forever and go to my Devi Maiyya.." His heart stop to breath and it went eye widen.. Leave me.. Go to Devi Maiyya.. Means DIE..! He grab her arm in anger..

Arnav: "I'm not letting you die and you can't leave me.. Understood!! He shouts.. He put a full stop on her answer.. She look at him.. His behavior was unpredictable for her.. At first he want her to suffer and now she fully convince herself that she will leave him forever but he can't accept the fact..

Khushi: "You throw me here.. You want me to sleep on this rough floor and still.."

Arnav(Interrupt): "I'm will not let anything happen to you.. and that is final.." gritted teeth

Khushi: "It's hurt.." She hissed in pain.. His nail was poking her skin.. He leave his grip and look at her arm.. There was mark on her arm.. She hold it softly and tried to soother the pain.. He was her in pain.. He clenched his fist in anger.. There were standing only few inches far from each other.. Suddenly the sound of thunder make her scared and she hug him tight.. "Maa.." with trembling lips.. She miss her parents..

Arnav: "Khushi.. Don't scared.. I'm here.." He carried her in his arm and her hand clenches on his collar for support.. He took her inside the room and went to the bathroom.. She need to change her clothes if not she will catch cold.. He make her seat on the bathroom slab and was going to bring clothes for her but been pull back my her hard grip on his collar.. He look at her and tried to free her grip and went out of the room..

He brings her night suit and place on the cabinet.. She was still seating in a same pose.. He care her cheek and make her look at him..

Arnav: "Khushi.. Change your clothes.." she look at him.. She seem lost in her own thought.. "You want me to help?" he guess.. He know she won't agree..

Khushi: "I'll do by my own…" she spoke softly..

Arnav: "I'll wait outside and don't lock the door.. If anything happen call me.. I'll wait at the door.." She nodded weakly..

He went out and change his clothes and stood in front of the bathroom door.. She slowly stand on her feet and try to gain all her strength to change her clothes.. She took almost 10 minutes to change in a dry suit.. She was about to walk to the room.. She start to feel dizzy.. She hold her head tight and seat on the toilet bowl.. It was the only nearest seat for her.. She can't seat on the floor due to the wetness.. She lean her head on the wall and tried to avoid the dizziness.. Arnav was moving restless in front of the door.. He has been waiting for 15 minutes for her to come out..

He knock the door and still no reply.. He start to call her..

Arnav: "Khushi.." while knocking.. "Khushi.. I'm coming in..?" he knock again and still no reply.. "Khushi.. I'm opening the door.." He warns her before he open the door.. Once he open it.. He was shocked to see her seating on the toilet bowl.. Her lips was trembling and her face look pale.. He run to her in hurry.. "Khushi.. Wake up..!!" He started devastated.. He put his palm on her temple and was shocked.. Her body was burning.. He carried her in his arm and make her lay on the bed.. He put a blanket on her.. Her body was still shivering and suddenly everything turns black for his view.. There was no electricity in RM due to Heavy rain.. Someone knock their room's door.. He went to open it by walking slowly..

HP: "Aryan bhaiyya.. Here are the candles.. The switch box already burn due to heavy rain and it can only be repair by tomorrow.." He nodded and took the candles from HP..

Arnav: "Hari Prakash.. I need warm milk now.." He want her to drink milk before he could give her some medicine.. And warm milk can reduce her temperature.. HP nodded and went to kitchen.. He went in and lights the candles.. He keep the candle on the coffee table.. It was enough to lighter up the room and it won't scared her from darkness..

He wake her up and make her drink some milk.. He hold the glass so it won't slipped from her hand.. She drink slowly and didn't protest to his order..

Arnav: "Khushi.. have this medicine.." he place the medicine in her mouth and make her drink some water.. He wake her lay on the bed and place two blanket on her.. He took her injury wrist on his hand and open the bandage.. The bandage was wet.. He took out medicine from the first kit and slowly apply on her wound with cotton.. "Paining..?" while looking at her..

Khushi: "No.." she lied… He can clearly see her pain.. She was frowning her eyebrow.. She was trying to hide her pain.. He blow on her wounds while he apply cream on it.. She close her eye tight.. She feel a kind by his touch.. He didn't bandage her wound and let it open.. Her blood circulation will move perfectly without any problem.. He place all the medicine in the box and was about to move to the recliner.. In sudden the room turn black and it was dark.. She hold his hand tightly and he was aware about her scared.. "Khushi.. You just relax.. Let me lights the candles again.."

Khushi: "I'm scared.." she was on the verge to cry.. her grip was getting tighter..

Arnav: "Don't scared.. I'm here with you.."

Khushi: "Arnavji.. Please don't leave me.." She start to cry and this was unbearable for him.. He seat on the bed beside her and place her in his embrace.. He make her sleep on the bed and went to sleep on the other side of the bed beside her..

Khushi wake up in morning and she feel so comfortable.. After so long she manage to sleep well and she feel relax once she wake up.. She was about to turn.. But couldn't.. there was tight grip on her waist.. She lifted her face and saw him, sleeping beside her and his hand was on her waist.. while, the most shocking was she sleeping on his hard chest either then the pillow.. She start to struggle and She saw him opening his eye slowly.. She struggle more and he look at her in weird..

Arnav: "What are you doing..?" with his sleeping voice

Khushi: "Leave me.."

Arnav: "What??" he frown his eyebrow

Khushi: "Your hand.. On my waist.. Leave me.." that was the time he realize his hand on her waist.. He quickly leave his grip and she run to the bathroom as soon as possible..

She come out of the bathroom and was about to move out of the room but been stop by him..

Arnav: "Khushi.." her step glue on the floor.. she didn't turn nor look at him.. He walk to her and make her look at him.. He place his palm on her temple.. Her body was not burning like yesterday.. He hold her hand and make her seat on the recliner.. He went to the closet and took out a first kit to bandage her injury wrist.. She was looking at him confusedly.. He was the reason of her injury and now he is healing the pain which is cause by him.. He seat on the coffee table and look at her.. She was avoiding his eye..

Arnav: "Khushi.. Is it still paining.." She nodded a No again.. "Don't lie..".. She didn't answer him.. She just look on her injured wrist.. He holds the wrist and applies iodine on it with cotton…

Khushi: "OUUU.." she shouts in pain.. He immediately stop from applying it.. Her eye was teary..

Arnav: "Is it paining..?"

Khushi: "Yes.." alone tear roll on her eye.. He keep the bottle of iodine in the box and blow the wound.. He look at her and tear was still on her eye.. He wiped her tear and bandage her wrist..

Once he leave her wrist she quickly stood and run out of the room.. I hate him.. I don't want to see his face.. He make me cry.. I hate him.. Her mind was flying somewhere else and her trance was broke by the sudden touch on her shoulder.. She look back and saw Anjali standing beside her..

Anjali: "Khushiji.. Kiya hua..? (What happen)".. She saw her lost in her own thought

Khushi: "Nothing Di.. I was going to the kitchen.." Anjali's eye widen with her answer..

Anjali: "Khushiji.. you are standing at kitchen itself.. just look around.." she turn left then right and was surprise.. She was standing in the kitchen and she didn't notice it at all.. "What happen.. Khushiji?" she touch her left cheek..

Khushi: "Nothing Di.. You don't worried.. I'm fine.." She hold her hand.. Anjali's eye widen when she saw her injury wrist..

Anjali: "Heh bhagwan..(Oh my god..)… What happen to your wrist..?" she shouts..

Khushi: "It's just a small cut.." Anjali hold her hand and touch softly on the bandage

Anjali: "Cut..? But how..? Did chotte did this..?" with narrow eye…
