The Landing
"KHUSHI KUMAARI GUPTA SINGH RAIZADA" Arnav roared.
He used her full name. This was bad. Khushi would have been worried and scared if she wasn't so annoyed at him.
"WHAT?!" Khushi yelled back
People were starting to stare so Arnav tried to calm himself a bit.
"What is your problem?" Arnav asked.
"I'm married to you!"
"Khushi, don't talk to me like that.Have you forgotten who I am? I'm Arnav Singh Raizada! Your HUSBAND!"
"No duh. Thanks for letting me know, Now i can sleep peacefully at night."
The kid behind them laughed
Khushi turned around about to scold the kid again
"Khushi! Don't turn away from me when I'm talking to you"
"If I want to I will!
"Khushi, i'm warning you!"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Warn me all you want, but this isn't your car Mr Raizada. You can't just drop me off in the middle of the road just because you're annoyed. Idiot!"
people were beginning to whisper but Arnav didnt care anymore
"What did you call me?" Arnav was getting even angrier
"An Idiot. A dumb person. Someone who doesn't even know what the word idiot means. Now if you don't mind, I am going to sleep. Goodnight!"
"We are now preparing for descent, we should land in Dubai at around 9pm local time. Please fasten your seatbelt"
"Who gives?" Khushi asked herself angrily. She angrily jammed her seatbelt together, plumped her pillow and tried to get comfortable to go to sleep. Arnav banged his fist on the arm rest infuriated.
How dare she?! How dare she?! Me? An idiot? Wait till we get to the hotel
five minutes later Arnav was still thinking about the major fight that had just happened
How did this even happen? She's never said so much to me before. She must be really annoyed. but why? Why the hell is she so annoyed?
Another 5 minutes later after running everything through his head he realised.
I took her Jalebis away... that must be it. She's never been this angry before, generally because thats what she eats while cursing me. Uh-Oh. I'm going to have to make it up to her. Oh no! That means I'll have to make Jalebi's again!! Damnit! It was so hard the first time! GAH! Wait a minute, I could work this to my advantage...
Arnav looked at his wife. She was restless, but nevertheless trying to sleep, which meant that she was feeling a bit guilty as well.
Khushi meanwhile was arguing with herself.
I can't believe I called him an Idiot... Maybe I said too much...
No. He took my Jalebis. Even he knows thats a no go area.
But I can cook more Jalebis, it's not the end of the world.
No if I give in now, he'll think he has won and he won't learn.
Learn what though?
"We are now preparing to land. Cabin crew please take your seats for landing"
Ooof! Why does that person keep interrupting my thoughts? Where was I?

Oh yeah... Learn what though?
Learn that he should listen to his wife.
But he does that already.
Hello Kushi Kumaari Gupta Singh Raizada?! Anyone home? Were you not there when he didn't even give you an opportunity to speak?
I suppose, but he was sleepy.
It doesn't matter if he was sleepy or not. He has to learn he can't just shut me down every time I say something.
But I'm sure he knows that.
No I refuse to give in.
This time I am right and he is wrong.
That settles it then, no talking to him until he apologizes
meanwhile Arnav had come to the conclusion that Khushi was going to apologize first anyway. She always felt guilty after a fight even if she wasn't in the wrong, and until then he wasnt going to say a word..
Arnav and Khushi were so deep in their thoughts they hadn't even realised the plane had landed until the pilot started talking again.
Khushi wished the pilot would shut up. She didn't care where she was, where to get her bags or what time it was. But the pilot insisted on telling her all this useless information.
The plane finally stopped and everyone got ready to get off the plane. Everyone except khushi.
This was because khushi had a plan.
While the Pilot was talking khushi had realised if she faked sleeping long enough, Arnav would carry her and she wouldn't have to walk as much through the airport. All the arguing had made her exhausted and she still had to plot her next move. She couldn't do that while trying to keep up with an angry Arnav.
"khushi. Wake up."
"hmmm... Five more minutes..." Khushi lied.
"Khushi, wake up!"
"Five minutes please!"
Arnav sighed. There was nothing else that could be done. He would have to carry her off the plane. He called an air hostess over to take his bags for him, while he took khushi's seatbelt off and lifted her up.
a collection of "Awww" came from behind him followed by a couple of people saying "How sweet!"
Khushi snuggled into her husband and smiled to herself
Now to plot... She thought to herself.
